Bizarre ideas on the left do nothing to straighten out the country

Obama to Top Brass: Will you fire on American Citizens?
In the video that follows, Gary Franchi of the Next News Network interviews Dr. Jim Garrow about the call he claims to have received from a retired, high-ranking military officer who told him that the Administration is beginning to ask military officers whether or not they will be willing to fire on American citizens if those citizens refuse to surrender their arms when ordered to do so. One of the more interesting pieces in the interview is when Dr. Garrow talks about China, our debt to them, and how our natural resources are being given away to them as a way of paying off American debt to China.
I have not yet seen any corroborating evidence in regards to this reported "litmus test" of military leadership, so it is something we need to keep an eye on. I have seen some "hits" on the Chinese being allowed into our nation to exploit our natural resources, but have not yet been able to draw any conclusions from them.

The Clown Car of Cabinet Nominees
(1) John Brennan for CIA (see original post which contained the following info)
- Does not understand the true nature of jihad and the threat it poses to us.
- Referred to Jerusalem as "Al Quds."
- Believes the 20% recidivism rate from those released from Guantanamo Bay "isn't that bad"
- Said that that “violent extremists” are victims of “political, economic and social forces.”
- ”The FBI gave a guided tour of one of our most sensitive counter-terrorism facilities to a known Hamas operative,” [Frank] Gaffney said. “It is clear that the cluelessness fostered by Mr. Brennan is causing an empowering of the wrong sorts of Muslims in America and endangering the American people.”
- Judicial Watch...obtained documents...revealing that Brennan and Defense Department officials disclosed to Hollywood filmmakers the identity of the SEAL Team Six operator and commander involved in taking out Osama Bin Laden.

(2) Jack Lew for Treasury. He possesses the most ridiculous signature know to man, and appears to accept no other way except his own. According to Senator Jeff Session of Alabama:
“Lew, as the president’s budget director, appeared before Congress and continued to insist that President Obama’s budget-which Lew had crafted-would not add to the debt of the United States,” Sessions said in the statement, calling Lew’s comments “the most direct and important false assertion during my entire time in Washington.” (source)
(3) Chuck Hagel for Defense.
- It appears that he seeks to eliminate the nuclear arsenal of the United States...unilaterally if necessary. [Let us not forget what W. Cleon Skousen told us in "The Naked Communist" that "The Communists have created the illusion in free men's minds that 'the way to peace is through disarmament.' We must not forget that this originated as a Communist slogan." (p. 263)]
"Hagel continued: “How can we preach to other countries that you can’t have nuclear weapons but we can and our allies can? There is no credibility, there’s no logic to that argument. And we have been losing on that argument.
“… I think and many people in the United States of America and Russia and in other parts of the world believe it has to go and that it is the elimination, the phasing out of nuclear weapons.”
Hagel argued that once nuclear weapons are eliminated “we can then, all leaders of all mankind, can start to concentrate more deliberately on the needs of the men and women and the children of their countries.”" (source)
"[S]enators from states with nuclear bases are questioning the defense secretary nominee’s role in the Global Zero commission that advocates eliminating all nuclear weapons and making unilateral strategic arms cuts..." (source)
“As a senator from a state that is home to two legs of the nuclear triad, I am particularly concerned about Senator Hagel’s support for additional, major reductions in U.S. nuclear forces, which I believe puts the United States at a severe disadvantage in a still-dangerous global military environment.” --Sen. John Hoeven (R., N.D.) (source)
- He supports global health re-distribution:
"Hagel co-sponsored the Global Poverty Act, which would have imposed a new “tax” on the U.S. requiring the country to add 0.7 percent of the gross national product to its overall spending on humanitarian aid." (source)
- He does not support unilateral sanctions against Iran, and "[h]e even voted against designating Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization at a time when they were supplying and supporting attacks on U.S. soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan." (source)
- He sees moral equivalency in the Israel-Palestinian Conflict as evidenced through statements like “Both Israelis and Palestinians are trapped in a war not of their making.” (source)
(4) John Kerry for State. Swift Boat Veterans. Need I say more?

Why I Love CNN
(1) Kathy Griffin wishing Anderson Cooper a Happy New Year by kissing his crotch on live television.
(2) CNN reports how "gay" penguins in the Toronto Zoo had to be separated to mate with female penguins.
(3) During their recount of the "top stories" of 2012, they continued to perpetuate the lie that the attack in Benghazi which killed our ambassador was the result of a video and not a deliberate terrorist attack.
(4) They report on the cuisine in Cairo, Egypt, despite the fact that there is a revolution going on, an enemy of the United States, the Muslim Brotherhood, has risen to power there, and the persecution of Coptic Christians is increasing.
(5) During a morning broadcast, with children watching, Anderson Cooper talks about the "sexts" and naked pictures he has been receiving from Kathy Griffin.
(6) Finally, for continuing to employ Piers Morgan, a liar and agenda-pusher from the United Kingdom.
Perhaps I, in fact, do not love CNN, because every time I watch it I want to vomit.
It's been a good run, CNN...almost 33 years now. But it's time to shut your doors and shutter the windows. Your content is no longer relevant to the people of the United States, and is frankly quite vulgar at times. What can you expect when you are founded by a man with a world view like Ted Turner?

GE CEO Immelt Praises Communist Chinese Government
![]() |
| BEN BAKER / REDUX |
"State-run communism may not be your cup of tea, but their government works. They have five-year plans..." (link to video)GE is looking at exporting more jobs and now nuclear technology to China:
"Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is supporting a bid by General Electric to export jobs and nuclear technology to China by seeking assurances from Beijing that it will not steal or transfer valuable reactor technology, the Free Beacon has learned." (Washington Free Beacon)And here is some of GE's behavior during World War II...supporting the Nazi government in Germany (obviously Immelt was not in charge, but it demonstrates how big business can work against the national security interests of your own nation):
"In 1946 General Electric was fined by the US government owing to its nefarious wartime activities. In partnership with Krupp, a German manufacturing firm, General Electric deliberately and artificially raised the price of tungsten carbide, a material that was vital for machining metals necessary for the war effort. Though only fined $36,000 in total, General Electric made around $1.5 million out of this scam in 1936 alone, hampering the war effort and increasing the cost of defeating the Nazis. GE also bought shares in Siemens before war broke out, making them complicit in the use of slave labor to build the very same gas chambers where many of the stricken laborers met their end." (Business Pundit)I guess my point here is this: do people like Immelt have the best interests of the American people in mind? Should they be placed in positions to have influence over the "jobs and competitiveness" of America? Should they be allowed to export nuclear technology to our adversaries? I would argue no, absolutely not.

Robert Welch on America's Destruction
- Greatly expanded government spending...getting rid of ever larger sums of American money as wastefully as possible
- Higher and then much higher taxes
- An increasingly unbalanced budget, despite the higher taxes
- Wild inflation of our currency
- Government control of prices, wages and materials, supposedly to combat inflation
- Greatly increased socialistic controls over every operation of our economy and every activity of our daily lives; this is to be accompanied...by a correspondingly huge increase in the size of our bureaucracy and in both the cost and reach of our domestic government
- Far more centralization of power in Washington and the practical elimination of our State lines
- The steady advance of Federal aid to and control over our educational system
- A constant hammering into the American consciousness of the horror of modern warfare...and the absolute necessity of peace, peace always on communist terms
- The consequent willingness of the American people to allow the steps of appeasement by our government which amount to a piecemeal surrender of the rest of the free world and the United States itself

George Bernard Shaw: Fabian Socialist
"In England, the Labor Party acts as a front group for the Fabian Socialist Society which was organized in 1884 by George Bernard Shaw and his friends. Shaw explained socialism in his book, An Intelligent Woman's Guide to Socialism and Capitalism, but his definition is seldom mentioned today because the Socialist International doesn't want people to know what lies ahead. George Bernard Shaw wrote:"
"I also made it quite clear that socialism means equality of income or nothing, and that under Socialism you would not be allowed to be poor. You would be forcibly fed, clothed, lodged, taught, and employed whether you liked it or not. If it were discovered that you had not character and industry enough to be worth all this trouble, you might possibly be executed in a kindly manner; but whilst you were permitted to live you would have to live well. . . . As far as I know I was the first Socialist writer to whom it occurred to state this explicitly as a necessary postulate of permanent civilization...." --George Bernard ShawMonteith, Dr. Stanley (2009-05-13). Tax-and-spend policies have not and cannot solve America’s problems
By James Shott
British millionaires are looking for greener pastures. As reported in The Telegraph of London, “In the 2009-10 tax year, more than 16,000 people declared an annual income of more than £1 million to HM Revenue and Customs,” but that “number fell to just 6,000 after Gordon Brown introduced the new 50 [percent] top rate of income tax shortly before the last general election.” The story goes on to say that it “is believed that rich Britons moved abroad or took steps to avoid paying the new levy by reducing their taxable incomes.” Consequently, the increase in tax revenues Prime Minister Brown had anticipated turned into a nearly £7 billion loss.
This should serve as a cautionary tale for America’s tax-and-spenders in the White House and Congress, who want to raise taxes on “the wealthy,” but it likely will float past them un-heeded. When you consider the details of the first post-election offer from the White House, it is clear that the administration does not comprehend such economic realities. The proposal: $1.6 trillion in higher taxes over 10 years, $180 billion in new spending and vague promises to cut only the growth of entitlement spending at an indeterminate future date, all while giving the president the power to unilaterally raise the debt ceiling.
The proposal calls for double the pre-election tax amount, additional spending and no specific amount of spending cuts or dates certain for them to take effect. And, there’s that last item, which gets immediately crossed-off: it’s unconstitutional.
As idiotic as that proposal is, understand that President Barack Obama appears serious about it.
Big government liberals live on entitlement spending, and many would die without it. The president’s proposal includes allowing the Bush tax cuts to expire for those making $250,000 a year or more, raising the top rate to nearly 40 percent, which he supposes will raise $80 billion annually. That’s enough to run the federal government for only 8.5 days. If America’s high earners follow the lead of the Brits and reduce taxable income or shift it into 2012, it will be even less than that relatively small amount.
But what is worse, when you understand that half of those affected by this rate increase are small businesses, it makes no sense to raise taxes on them with unemployment still more than 50 percent above normal levels nearly 42 months after the recession ended.
The tax-and-spenders need to get past their resentment of high earners and their appetite for their earnings, and get serious about fiscal reform. Out-of-control spending for entitlements, a bloated and inefficient government, a tax code that plays favorites, and other factors combine to produce huge annual deficits and 16 trillion in crushing debt, and it’s time to fix that.
Americans for Tax Reform has focused for years on getting newly elected U.S. Representatives and Senators to take a pledge against raising taxes, understanding that our problem is that we spend far too much, not that anyone needs higher tax rates. Grover Norquist, its president, is now a target of the tax-and-spenders for his organization’s efforts at controlling taxation. However, those Senators and Representatives didn’t make the pledge to Mr. Norquist, they pledged to their constituents they would vote against tax increases.
The problem we have today is not a new one. A Cary Orr political cartoon from 1934, in the midst of The Great Depression, shows a wagon filled with drunken people drinking from a “Power” bottle and shoveling bags of money out onto the road. On the back of the wagon is a sign reading, “Depleting the resources of the soundest government in the world.” And there’s a man on the side of the road painting a sign which says:
Plan of Action for U.S.
Spend! Spend! Spend!
Under the guise of recovery
Bust the government
Blame the capitalists for the failure
Junk the Constitution and declare a dictatorship
Other comments jotted around the scene say, “How red the sunrise is getting” near an ominous looking man labeled “Stalin,” and, “It worked in Russia.”
That is how Cary Orr saw what the government was doing then. And what is unsettling about this cartoon is the striking similarity to what is happening now.
He believed government’s actions were communistic. What our government is doing today may not be socialistic or communistic under the strict definition of those terms But an interesting coincidence is that the Communist Party USA is now organizing teleconferences and rallies supporting the plans to raise taxes and encouraging continued over-spending on entitlement programs.
We should recognize that no nation on Earth has ever achieved success that even approaches the level of success the United States of America achieved before it began changing from the capitalistic model that built it to a model that has produced mediocrity and fiscal peril worldwide.
We should heed the lessons of wrong-headed government policies that extended the Great Depression for years longer than it should have lasted, and try something different, like the economic principles of capitalism that built America.

The Filth Emanating from Hollywood
"The name of the game right now is compromise. Meet in the middle to get things done.... According to the Bible, when that happens, we're no longer standing for anything. We are no longer on the side of the Truth.... You're either hot or you're cold. We're in almost a period of the Laeodician Church. We need to pick our side now.... If you're going to be for the world, be for the world. Don't be doing so much harm being half in and half out. You're harming yourself and those others who might actually want to know the Truth. Choose ye this day whom you will follow." (Angus T. Jones, ~11:30 mark, Part 2 Video)As Curtis Bowers accurately lays out in "Grinding American Down," the Left's (Communists) agenda is to undermine America's Judeo-Christian culture in order to replace its government with a humanistic, collectivist one (which corresponds with Satan's goals). The Left correctly understands that our religion and morality are necessary for the success of our nation. They must remove the guiding star of the Word of God in order to replace our form of government with a tyrannical one. One of the many ways they have sought to do this is by taking over Hollywood, which they have done quite effectively. That is why we see such filth emanating from there today. That filth is intended to assist America in turning away from the Word of God.
I like to divide entertainment media into three categories: meat, sugar, and poison.
Meat is the media that glorifies God, supports the Christian worldview, and strengthens your faith in God. There is very little meat being produced in Hollywood.
Poison is media that encourages sin, perversion, carnality, depravity, and a worldview that is in direct contravention to that communicated to us by God through his revealed Word. Poison rots your soul, weakens your faith, and pulls you away from God. It is a direct replacement for what is provided by the Word of God. I would contend that a majority of what comes out of Hollywood today is poison, and it is by design.
Sugar is neither meat, nor poison, but does not glorify God and cannot satisfy the longings of the soul by itself. Therefore, if you do not balance sugar with a good helping of meat, you will continue to consume sugar until you move to poison to fill the emptiness in your soul. Hollywood is very adept at disguising poison with a heavy dose of sugar to make it more palatable, so one must always be vigilant when consuming "sugar." That vigilance comes through knowledge and study of the Word.
And now the testimony of Angus T. Jones of "Two and a Half Men." At the 7:40 minute mark in the Part 2 video below, Jones describes to the Forerunner Chronicles how he realized that "Two and a Half Men" was disseminating filth. I think he's onto something. Christians should never apologize for exposing the evil of the world, the flesh and the Devil, if their analysis is grounded in the Word. Hollywood needs more...a lot more...people like Jones to speak out against the immorality being intentionally peddled by Hollywood to destroy our nation. Here are some quotes from his testimony:
"I'm on 'Two and a Half Men' and I don't want to be on it,” [Jones] said. "If you watch 'Two and a Half Men,' please stop watching it and filling your head with filth. People say it’s just entertainment. Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you’ll have a decision to make when it comes to television, especially with what you watch." (source)
"You cannot be a true God-fearing person and be on a television show like that." (~9:50 mark Part 2)
"The name of the game right now is compromise. Meet in the middle to get things done.... According to the Bible, when that happens, we're no longer standing for anything. Movie: Grinding America Down
"Grinding America Down" is a movie by Curtis Bowers that accurately describes the design of the Communist Agenda in America, how it is has been executed, how successful it has been, and what those of us who love liberty need to do to counter it. It is apparent that Curtis believes the Communists are closer than they ever have been to fundamentally transforming our nation, but they can still be stopped. We just have to do something.
Some of the many topics he talks about are Fabian Socialism, Saul Alinsky, Herbet Marcuse, the Communist Party USA, the Frankfurt School, and Bill Ayers. Curtis has done his research and is on-target with his analysis. Encourage your friends and family to watch this film.

"Although we had been warned by some of the greatest political thinkers of the nineteenth century, by Tocqueville and Lord Acton, that socialism means slavery, we have steadily moved in the direction of socialism. Karl Marx Wanted to Destroy Mankind
Karl Marx was deeply disturbed and did not have the best interest of humankind in mind. His desired end was more in line with that of the devil--turn humans away from God and lead them to destruction. What follows is from Richards Wurmbrand's book "Marx & Satan.""Seeing that for the Socialist man all of so-called world history is nothing other than the creation of man through human work, than the development of nature for man, he has the incontestable proof of his being born from himself.... The criticism of religion ends with the teaching that man is the supreme being for man." -- Karl Marx
"We see this clearly in Marx's poetry. In "Invocation of One in Despair" and "Human Pride" man's supreme supplication is for his own greatness. If man is doomed to perish through his own greatness, this will be a cosmic catastrophe, but he will die as a godlike being, mourned by demons. Marx's ballad "The Player" records the singer's complaints against a God who neither knows nor respects his art. This emerges from the dark abyss of hell, bedeviling the mind and bewitching the heart, and his dance is the dance of death." The minstrel draws his sword and throws it into the poet's soul.
In his poem "Human Pride," Marx admits that his aim is not to improve the world or to reform or revolutionize it, but simply to ruin it and to enjoy its being ruined:
With disdain I will throw my gauntletMarx adopted Satanism after intense inner struggle....
Full in the face of the world,
And see the collapse of this pygmy giant
Whose fall will not stifle my ardour.
Then will I wander godlike and victorious
Through the ruins of the world
And, giving my words an active force,
I will feel equal to the Creator.
The overriding reason for Marx's conversion to communism appears clearly in a letter of his friend Georg Jung to Ruge: it was not the emancipation of the proletariat, nor even the establishing of a better social order. Jung writes:
If Marx, Bruno Bauer and Feuerbach associate to found a theological-political review, God would do well to surround himself with all his angels and indulge in self-pity, for these three will certainly drive him out of heaven...."From Richard Wurmbrand's "Marx and Satan," pp. 30-1.

The Hegelian Dialectic and the Pathway to a One World Government
Ah yes, the Hegelian Dialectic. I have always had a difficult time understanding what the heck Georg Hegel was talking about, but in a word it is "compromise."
(There is a series called "Deception" by the Fuel Project out of Scotland that helps to simplify his concept: link to Part 49 The Hegelian Principle here.)
In the Hegelian Dialectic, you have two generally irreconcilable ideas, a "thesis" and an "antithesis." When these two ideas are brought into conflict with each other, the expected result is "synthesis" where "compromise" is achieved (this is not necessarily through peaceful means) and the two ideas are no longer in conflict, because they really no longer exist in their original forms, instead existing as one.
Satan's desire is to turn humans away from the Word of God (Truth), and the Hegelian Dialectic is one technique to do this. Within the Hegelian Dialectic, there is no Truth, unless one believes the synthesis of the two different ideas becomes temporary "truth" once synthesis (compromise) has been reached. Therefore Satan wishes to assault God's Truth with lies, hoping that humans will compromise between the two. The result will be a rejection of certain aspects, or even all, of God's Truth. The result is not Truth, but Lies.
This is the general form of attack on our Constitution, where the socialists have been steadily assaulting it with their poisoned ideas, counting on Congress to compromise, marching our nation slowly over time toward socialism. In essence, we are compromising away the truths upon which our nation was founded.
Similarly, those who seek a One World Government will use the Hegelian Dialectic to create conflict between differing ideologies to create a synthesis, or compromise, so as to achieve a homogenization of humanity over time. This homogenization must be done to create such a government backed by a singular theology (which will be Satanic).
My question is this: is a clash between the West and Islam the next attempt at reaching a synthesis between the two irreconcilable ideologies? Is the antithesis of Islam being used to destroy the thesis of Christianity? By its very nature, Islam is anti-Christ, for it does not believe that Jesus was the Son of God and the Quran commands its followers to slay the unbelievers (Christians being a part of that group). This, therefore, makes Islam a very convenient anti-thesis to Christianity, by which to arrive at synthesis once the two are brought into conflict.

Hayek on Policies that Foster Monopolies
We were the first to assert that the more complicated the forms assumed by civilization, the more restricted the freedom of the individual must become. —Benito Mussolini
What follows is F.A. Hayek commenting on how, in most cases, governmental economic policy creates the conditions for monopolies to form. He then goes on to explain how centralized planning cannot conceivably understand and reasonably control all the variables in a complex economy. Only in a free market system of competition can a complex economic system function effectively.
"Of the various arguments employed to demonstrate the inevitability of planning, the one most frequently heard is that technological changes have made competition impossible in a constantly increasing number of fields and that the only choice left to us is between control of production by private monopolies and direction by the government. This belief derives mainly from the Marxist doctrine of the “concentration of industry...”
The conclusions that the advantage of large-scale production must lead inevitably to the abolition of competition cannot be accepted. It should be noted, moreover, that monopoly is frequently the product of factors other than the lower costs of greater size. It is attained through collusive agreement and promoted by public policies. When these agreements are invalidated and when these policies are reversed, competitive conditions can be restored....”
In [Germany] especially, which came to be regarded as the model country typifying the necessary evolution of capitalism, the growth of cartels and syndicates has since 1878 been systematically fostered by deliberate policy. Not only the instrument of protection but direct inducements and ultimately compulsion were used by the governments to further the creation of monopolies for the regulation of prices and sales....
That [in Germany] the suppression of competition was a matter of deliberate policy, that it was undertaken in the service of the ideal which we now call planning, there can be no doubt. In the progressive advance toward a completely planned society the Germans, and all the people who are imitating their example, are merely following the course which nineteenth-century thinkers, particularly Germans, have mapped out for them. The intellectual history of the last sixty or eighty years is indeed a perfect illustration of the truth that in social evolution nothing is inevitable but thinking makes it so....
What they generally suggest is that the increasing difficulty of obtaining a coherent picture of the complete economic process makes it indispensable that things should be coordinated by some central agency if social life is not to dissolve in chaos....
...it is the very complexity of the division of labor under modern conditions which makes competition the only method by which such coordination can be adequately brought about. There would be no difficulty about efficient control or planning were conditions so simple that a single person or board could effectively survey all the relevant facts. It is only as the factors which have to be taken into account become so numerous that it is impossible to gain a synoptic view of them that decentralization becomes imperative. But, once decentralization is necessary, the problem of coordination arises—a coordination which leaves the separate agencies free to adjust their activities to the facts which only they can know and yet brings about a mutual adjustment of their respective plans. As decentralization has become necessary because nobody can consciously balance all the considerations bearing on the decisions of so many individuals, the coordination can clearly be effected not by “conscious control” but only by arrangements which convey to each agent the information he must possess in order effectively to adjust his decisions to those of others."

Hayek on Competition
Here is F.A. Hayek's rationale for why a reliance on the forces of competition is superior to centralized control and planning, as found in a collectivist (socialist) government. (Remember that the term "liberal" is used in the classic sense and not in the modern sense where it is synonymous with "socialist.")
"The liberal argument is in favor of making the best possible use of the forces of competition as a means of coordinating human efforts, not an argument for leaving things just as they are. It is based on the conviction that, where effective competition can be created, it is a better way of guiding individual efforts than any other. It does not deny, but even emphasizes, that, in order that competition should work beneficially, a carefully thought-out legal framework is required and that neither the existing nor the past legal rules are free from grave defects. Nor does it deny that, where it is impossible to create the conditions necessary to make competition effective, we must resort to other methods of guiding economic activity. Economic liberalism is opposed, however, to competition’s being supplanted by inferior methods of coordinating individual efforts. And it regards competition as superior not only because it is in most circumstances the most efficient method known but even more because it is the only method by which our activities can be adjusted to each other without coercive or arbitrary intervention of authority. Indeed, one of the main arguments in favor of competition is that it dispenses with the need for “conscious social control” and that it gives the individuals a chance to decide whether the prospects of a particular occupation are sufficient to compensate for the disadvantages and risks connected with it."Hayek, F. A. (2010-10-22). The Road to Serfdom (pp. 85-86). University of Chicago Press - A. Kindle Edition.
