Rise and fall of an American Queen

Rise and fall of an American queen

History has a way of recycling on itself. With the adoption of the Declaration of Independence the colonies threw off the yoke of the English Monarchy centuries ago. Expectations were the evolving nation would remain a democracy for generations to come. The blood of millions sanctified this promise through the years. Yet as history moved forward the lessons that it taught grew cold with time. Twenty-first century politics have awakened the ghosts of the past. A few politicians believe they have an absolute right of ascension to the highest circles in government. This self-righteous elitism may be drawn from name recognition they garnered based on those who came before them. Most open about her prior connections to the White House is Hillary Clinton. Mrs. Clinton apparently believes she should be crowned queen of the United States. This delusion is continuously reinforced in her speeches and interviews. Now her coronation appears in doubt.  From the darkness information has arisen that Mrs. Clinton may have subverted American law. Worse she may have used her government position to raise funds for the Clinton Foundation.

While conducting business as the Secretary of State Mrs. Clinton was legally responsible to use government email systems not personal accounts. Believing she is beyond reproach and the law she hid over fifty thousand emails from Congressional committees who subpoenaed her government records not aware at the time other accounts existed. As this information developed the whitewash quickly began. Her former State Department colleagues jumped into the fray to help with damage control. Current Secretary of State John Kerry also stated he would review the matter thoroughly. The outcome for these reviews are all but assured to go Hillary’s way. Can this vast load of emails shed light on the following questions? What did Hillary really know about Benghazi? Did she raise money for the Clinton Foundation in a manner not befitting her former office? Did she pass classified material through her private accounts hence undermining United States Interests? Mrs. Clinton’s activities may have been above board, yet they need to be measured against the truth. American people deserve an independent accounting of Hillary’s recently uncovered activities.  Why? Because this heir to the throne must be vetted before the nation makes another mistake as occurred in the prior 2 election cycles.

The Clown Car of Cabinet Nominees

Looking at the most recent nominees for Cabinet positions, it seems as if a clown car pulled up to the Capitol where Jack Lew, John Kerry, Chuck Hagel, and John Brennan spilled out.

(1) John Brennan for CIA (see original post which contained the following info)

  • Does not understand the true nature of jihad and the threat it poses to us.
  • Referred to Jerusalem as "Al Quds."
  • Believes the 20% recidivism rate from those released from Guantanamo Bay "isn't that bad"
  • Said that that “violent extremists” are victims of “political, economic and social forces.”
  • ”The FBI gave a guided tour of one of our most sensitive counter-terrorism facilities to a known Hamas operative,” [Frank] Gaffney said. “It is clear that the cluelessness fostered by Mr. Brennan is causing an empowering of the wrong sorts of Muslims in America and endangering the American people.”
  • Judicial Watch...obtained documents...revealing that Brennan and Defense Department officials disclosed to Hollywood filmmakers the identity of the SEAL Team Six operator and commander involved in taking out Osama Bin Laden.

(2) Jack Lew for Treasury.  He possesses the most ridiculous signature know to man, and appears to accept no other way except his own.  According to Senator Jeff Session of Alabama:
“Lew, as the president’s budget director, appeared before Congress and  continued to insist that President Obama’s budget-which Lew had crafted-would  not add to the debt  of the United States,” Sessions said in the statement, calling Lew’s comments  “the most direct and important false assertion during my entire time in Washington.” (source)

(3) Chuck Hagel for Defense.
  • It appears that he seeks to eliminate the nuclear arsenal of the United States...unilaterally if necessary.  [Let us not forget what W. Cleon Skousen told us in "The Naked Communist" that "The Communists have created the illusion in free men's minds that 'the way to peace is through disarmament.'  We must not forget that this originated as a Communist slogan." (p. 263)]
"Hagel continued: “How can we preach to other countries that you can’t have nuclear weapons but we can and our allies can? There is no credibility, there’s no logic to that argument. And we have been losing on that argument.
“… I think and many people in the United States of America and Russia and in other parts of the world believe it has to go and that it is the elimination, the phasing out of nuclear weapons.”
Hagel argued that once nuclear weapons are eliminated “we can then, all leaders of all mankind, can start to concentrate more deliberately on the needs of the men and women and the children of their countries.”" (source)
"[S]enators from states with nuclear bases are questioning the defense secretary nominee’s role in the Global Zero commission that advocates eliminating all nuclear weapons and making unilateral strategic arms cuts..." (source)
“As a senator from a state that is home to two legs of the nuclear triad, I am particularly concerned about Senator Hagel’s support for additional, major reductions in U.S. nuclear forces, which I believe puts the United States at a severe disadvantage in a still-dangerous global military environment.” --Sen. John Hoeven (R., N.D.) (source)
  • He supports global health re-distribution:
"Hagel co-sponsored the Global Poverty Act, which would have imposed a new “tax” on the U.S. requiring the country to add 0.7 percent of the gross national product to its overall spending on humanitarian aid." (source)
  • He does not support unilateral sanctions against Iran, and "[h]e even voted against designating Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization at a time when they were supplying and supporting attacks on U.S. soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan." (source)
  • He sees moral equivalency in the Israel-Palestinian Conflict as evidenced through statements like “Both Israelis and Palestinians are trapped in a war not of their making.” (source)

(4) John Kerry for State.  Swift Boat Veterans.  Need I say more?

Bill Clinton Will Disclose List of Donors

According to several news sources former President Bill Clinton will attempt to clear the way for Senator Hillary Clinton to be nominated as secretary of state by disclosing the names of over 200,000 donors to his foundation.

The International Herald Tribune writes today that two unnamed advisers and two Democrats “who are close to the process” say that Senator Hillary Clinton will be nominated as secretary of state on Monday.

As permitted by law, Clinton’s contributor list has been kept secret. The release of the names of contributors will be completed in December to avoid any appearance of a conflict of interest. Future donors will be disclosed as long as Hillary is in the Cabinet. Bill Clinton’s business and charitable activities have involved world travel and the collection of “six-figure speaking fees from foreign organizations,” which could interfere with the conduct of U.S. foreign policy.

The International Herald Tribune reports that Bill Clinton signed-off on nine conditions set by Obama “which go beyond the requirements of law. “ Only a few of those conditions are known at this time.

Among other things, he also agreed to incorporate his Clinton Global Initiative separately from the foundation so that he had less direct involvement. The initiative would no longer hold annual meetings outside the United States or accept any foreign government contributions.

Bill Clinton will have to submit his speeches and business activities for review by the State Department and “if necessary, to the White House counsel's office.”

Additionally, the Clinton-Global Initiative, which is part of the William J. Clinton Foundation, will be “incorporated separately to establish some distance from the former president in its day-to-day activities,” and “Clinton will not solicit sponsorship contributions.”

According to the International Herald Tribune the Clinton and Obama lawyers have spent a great deal of time crafting the agreement and Obama’s team is satisfied with Clinton’s concessions.

For background details on the need for conditions and concessions from Bill Clinton read the Nov 18 article in Digital Journal, “Will Bill Help or Hurt Hillary’s Chances of Becoming Secretary of State?”
