Into the Darkness: America loses faith

 

God, once a common theme in American culture, has been relegated to a secondary role in a deteriorating nation. Religion is under assault from many who believe our country should be a land of atheists not deists. Government, at every level, is giving in to groups who want religious icons removed from public view. From Christmas decorations on public lands to the Ten Commandments in courthouses legal challenges have been successful in their removal. Atheists are posting statements on billboards across the country questioning the beliefs of the majority who continue to have faith in an almighty deity.  President Obama has spearheaded the assault on religion denying people their First Amendment rights to practice religion in the manner in which they chose. Birth control is being forced on the Catholic Church though the Administration states otherwise. An order of nuns must now provide birth control to their employees or face the wrath of the all-powerful IRS. Military chaplains have received word they would be punished if they did not follow the atheistic agenda of the Obama Administration. Worse, soldiers are being forced to congregate and be sensitive to the needs of their homosexual counterparts. Indoctrination courses to sensitize soldiers on gay and lesbian issues have been introduced into course work a soldier must take to remain in the military even when it is against their religious beliefs. America’s legal landscape is fraught with lawsuits impeding prayer sessions in schools, at sporting events and wherever the word of God can be heard in public. Is God under house arrest in America? It seems so. Five years appears like an eternity, yet the war on religion was initiated the day President Obama took office. Quiet application of Administration mandate, circumventing certain religious beliefs, has filtered through government circles.  President Obama can deny his anti-religion agenda exists, yet the devil is in the details. America is moving through dark times presently with no light seen at the end of the proverbial tunnel. One thing for certain God has not turned away from America, the nation has turned away from him. God Didn't Build That


With the Big Bang Theory, we have given ourselves the ability to look up at the sun and moon and stars and tell God "You didn't build that!", and then go on our merry way believing that the celestial bodies are the result of random processes and not the work of the Creator's hands.

With the Theory of Evolution, we see every sort of seed-bearing plant, the trees that grow seed-bearing fruit, the swarms of fishes and other life in the waters, every sort of bird, the livestock, the small animals that scurry along the ground, the wild animals, and tell God "You didn't build that!"  We even deny our own creation by His hands, saying "You didn't build me!" and go on our merry way.

But we fail to realize that with this belief in random processes we have become purposeless ourselves.  Our only reason for existence becomes survival, which makes it hard to follow commands like "love your neighbor as yourself" when you believe that you are in direct competition with your neighbors.

In a universe that created itself, evil becomes a permanent part of nature instead of being ultimately resolved by the Creator.  So even though we are now told to place our hope in man, there really becomes hopelessness in life.

How can we believe the Word of God is true if we are taught that its very beginning, the account of creation, is not?  The Bible becomes allegory, mere guidance, that we can follow or reject as we see fit.  We can then do what is right in our own eyes and follow a god of our own design and comfort.

We are prodded to continue moving forward hoping that these theories are correct, where "forward" insinuates that we are progressing and moving in the right direction.  We hope that we are correct, because if we are not, there is a God, a Creator of all things, who will judge us at the end of our days, and that is a frightful thought.

But these theories support Satan's style, for by believing them we begin to reject the authority of God our Creator.  I would rather not give him that pleasure.
The heavens declare the glory of God;
    the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
    night after night they reveal knowledge.
They have no speech, they use no words;
    no sound is heard from them.
Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
    their words to the ends of the world. (Psalm 19:1-4)

America's King

"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, Religion and morality are indispensable supports.  ...reason and experience both forbid us to expect that National morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle." --George Washington in his Farewell Address
After America gained its independence from Britain, many people called on the hero of the American Revolution, George Washington, to be their king.  He refused, instead accepting the honor of becoming the nation's first President.  Whether consciously or subconsciously, Washington probably knew that the majority of the American people already had a king--the Eternal King--Jesus Christ.  No man, not even George Washington, could ever sit in His place.

The Declaration of Independence and Constitution do not refer specifically to the God of the Bible, however upon close examination and study it is clear that our nation's founding was based on His Word.  For example our founders referred to the Creator in several places--a Creator that is not Allah, or Buddha, or some pagan god, but clearly the Christian God.  Because the majority of Americans acknowledged God as their Creator and Jesus Christ as their Savior, our form of government can function properly as designed.

The United States government as described in our Constitution can be viewed as a caretaker government until the King returns.  That government is designed to be run by humans to manage normal human affairs and to protect the nation from external threats while giving maximum freedom to the general population to choose their own ends and for most to follow the direction of their King, Christ.  Without faith in God, personal ends have a greater potential to become evil.  George Washington appreciated this fact as evidenced by this portion of his Farewell Speech:
"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, Religion and morality are indispensable supports.  ...reason and experience both forbid us to expect that National morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle."
We must acknowledge that none of us are perfect nor can be...Christians included.  But if we as a nation keep our eyes on our Savior, our point of aim, then we are headed in the right direction in spite of our error and sin.  But if we were to remove our gaze from that point of light and instead rely exclusively on ourselves or other men to determine our ends and how we get there, then we have a serious problem and our form of government will no longer be effective.  It will be undermined by those who seek another path, and the threat they pose to the People will only increase as more and more eyes are turned away from Christ.

At its creation our nation gave deference to Jesus Christ as the King of the people.  During our time, there have been louder and louder calls for Him to abdicate His throne.  Let it be known that Christ will never abdicate His throne.  However we as a people can choose to reject Him as our King and guiding star for the ship of state.  Evil forces in America are laboring to make this happen, and have achieved much success.  Unless something is done to reverse this trend, such as a national Christian revival, we as a nation are on a pathway to bondage and doom.

For without Christ as the King of our people, we will seek another to replace Him, and it will be found in our human government and its human leadership.  God help us when that day comes (is it already here?).

As for me, Christ will be the King of my life, my family, and my house.

This Christmas season I ask you: In whom do you place your faith and trust?  Is it yourself?  Is it the government?  Or is it God?

The Case for Intelligent Design

Against All Enemies recommends you read "Darwin's Black Box: The Biochemical Challenge to Evolution" by Michael J. Behe.  In this book, Behe discusses how advances in science over the last few decades have shed light on the inner workings of the cell, or what he refers to "Darwin's Black Box." Behe calls it a "black box" because when Darwin devised his theory of evolution, the cell could not be understood by the science of the time and had to be treated as a "black box."  Now that we can understand the processes and structures within a cell, the author believes that what we have discovered points directly to intelligent design.

Here is the author's summary of the argument for intelligent design:
"Here, then, is the argument for design in a nutshell: (1) We infer design whenever parts appear arranged to accomplish a function.  (2) The strength of the inference is quantitative and depends on the evidence; the more parts, and the more intricate and sophisticated the function, the stronger is our conclusion of design.  With enough evidence, our confidence in design can approach certitude.  If while crossing a heath we stumble across a watch...no one would doubt...that the watch was designed; we would be as certain about that as about anything in nature.  (3) Aspects of life overpower us with the appearance of design.  (4) Since we have no other convincing explanation for that strong appearance of design, Darwinian pretensions notwithstanding, then we are rationally justified in concluding that parts of life were indeed purposely designed by an intelligent agent."  ("Darwin's Black Box," page 265)
Behe uses the examples of the cilium, how blood coagulates, and the synthesis of AMP to support his argument.

The Filth Emanating from Hollywood

"The name of the game right now is compromise.  Meet in the middle to get things done.... According to the Bible, when that happens, we're no longer standing for anything. We are no longer on the side of the Truth....  You're either hot or you're cold.  We're in almost a period of the Laeodician Church.  We need to pick our side now....  If you're going to be for the world, be for the world.  Don't be doing so much harm being half in and half out.  You're harming yourself and those others who might actually want to know the Truth.  Choose ye this day whom you will follow."  (Angus T. As Curtis Bowers accurately lays out in "Grinding American Down," the Left's (Communists) agenda is to undermine America's Judeo-Christian culture in order to replace its government with a humanistic, collectivist one (which corresponds with Satan's goals).  The Left correctly understands that our religion and morality are necessary for the success of our nation.  They must remove the guiding star of the Word of God in order to replace our form of government with a tyrannical one.  One of the many ways they have sought to do this is by taking over Hollywood, which they have done quite effectively.  That is why we see such filth emanating from there today.  That filth is intended to assist America in turning away from the Word of God.

I like to divide entertainment media into three categories: meat, sugar, and poison.

Meat is the media that glorifies God, supports the Christian worldview, and strengthens your faith in God.  There is very little meat being produced in Hollywood.

Poison is media that encourages sin, perversion, carnality, depravity, and a worldview that is in direct contravention to that communicated to us by God through his revealed Word.  Poison rots your soul, weakens your faith, and pulls you away from God.  It is a direct replacement for what is provided by the Word of God.  I would contend that a majority of what comes out of Hollywood today is poison, and it is by design.

Sugar is neither meat, nor poison, but does not glorify God and cannot satisfy the longings of the soul by itself.  Therefore, if you do not balance sugar with a good helping of meat, you will continue to consume sugar until you move to poison to fill the emptiness in your soul.  Hollywood is very adept at disguising poison with a heavy dose of sugar to make it more palatable, so one must always be vigilant when consuming "sugar."  That vigilance comes through knowledge and study of the Word.

And now the testimony of Angus T. Jones of "Two and a Half Men."  At the 7:40 minute mark in the Part 2 video below, Jones describes to the Forerunner Chronicles how he realized that "Two and a Half Men" was disseminating filth.  I think he's onto something.  Christians should never apologize for exposing the evil of the world, the flesh and the Devil, if their analysis is grounded in the Word.  Hollywood needs more...a lot more...people like Jones to speak out against the immorality being intentionally peddled by Hollywood to destroy our nation.  Here are some quotes from his testimony:

"I'm on 'Two and a Half Men' and I don't want to be on it,” [Jones] said. "If you watch 'Two and a Half Men,' please stop watching it and filling your head with filth. People say it’s just entertainment. Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you’ll have a decision to make when it comes to television, especially with what you watch." (source)
"You cannot be a true God-fearing person and be on a television show like that." (~9:50 mark Part 2)

Contemplating the Future After the Election

Friends,

As a boy, I greatly admired the leadership of Ronald Reagan.  I watched him take an heroic stand against the evil ideology of communism, and his example was one of the main reasons why I joined the military to defend our great nation and its people.  It was a nation that rewarded achievement, protected individual liberties, and stood against the evils of the world.  However, I see a very different nation today than the one when Reagan left office.

After Tuesday's election, like many of you, I stood bewildered.  How could the people I defended all these years vote for the very ideology that I picked up a rifle to defend against?  Honestly, I cannot say I was surprised by the outcome.  However, I am deeply disturbed by what it said about our country and its people.

I have spent the last several days searching my soul for the right path to take following the reality that became apparent on Tuesday.  I have reached out to the Internet, my friends, my family, my pastors, and most importantly God and his Word.  I have been internally conflicted, bouncing back and forth from considering extreme defiance to peaceful submission.  However, neither extreme sat well with me.

Considering those calling for extreme defiance, there does not appear to be a legitimate reason to follow this course.  I believe we would be fools to secede or take up arms against the government at this point, for they hold the power of coercion and are most likely waiting for action from homegrown "terrorists" or "separatists" to silence them--permanently.  The question then becomes, at what point do citizens need to take up arms against their government?  Frankly, I cannot answer that at this time, but now is not appropriate.

Peaceful submission would mean the tacit acceptance of evil.  However, I cannot be complicit to legalized murder, the celebration of immoral behavior, or the government acting outside the rule of law.   Should I choose submission, I would be acknowledging the victory of Satan and become complicit in his actions.

Instead, I have found different ground.  With the coming darkness resulting from man's belief in a multitude of lies, there will be Americans who will be looking for the light of Truth to escape such darkness.  We Christians must be the light of Christ in the world.  We must demonstrate how Christians live the Word amidst extreme adversity by loving each another, caring for our neighbors, and spreading His Word.  Only through the Word of God can we fight against the darkness.  Any solution that lacks God's Truth will only bring more suffering.

We as followers of Christ must stand up for what is right in our families, schools, churches, cities, states, courts, and the nation.  We must defend our rights under the Constitution.  We must never compromise Truth and Liberty for Lies and Tyranny.

Finally, some declare that we are quickly approaching the End Times as prophesied in the Bible.  Perhaps they are right, but I do not know.

What I do know is that Americans needs God.  Only if Christians read the Word, pray, and live by the Word will America have any hope.  If America is now under divine judgment for its wickedness and depravity, it has certainly earned it.  However, this does not mean we need to run away from the problem (to the point of fleeing the United States).  We need to put on the full armor of God, proclaim His Truth, and confront evil.  We should be more concerned with the soul next door rather than whether or not America is going to survive as a nation.  For by saving the people, we could save the nation.

There is no victory without God.

America Holds Its Breath

On this Election Day, America collectively holds its breath.

On one side, we have a segment of the populace who desire government to provide them with all their needs.  A segment who wants to be free from personal responsibility.  A segment who wants to be free from any presence of the Christian God in the fabric of our nation.  A segment who desires our nation to be more like the rest of the world.  A segment who believes that the ends justify the means, an ends that is nebulous and undefined, but just known as "hope."  A segment who justifies murder by claiming protection of individual privacy and right to personal choice.  A segment who believes that speech should only be free if it supports the desired ends.  A segment who deals with evil by legalizing and normalizing it.  A segment that believes truth comes from man and our rights come from the government.  A segment who sees a crisis as an opportunity to obtain more power

On the other side, we have a segment of the populace who desires limited government so that individual liberties are protected.  A segment who believes that each citizen is responsible for his/her actions.  A segment that believes that the Christian God is an essential requirement for the fabric of America. A segment that believes in the sovereignty of our nation.  A segment who believes that the way we do something is as important than the ends we seek to achieve.  A segment who believes that the right to life is not trumped by a right to privacy.    A segment who believes in the right to free speech, even if we may find that speech hateful or repulsive.  A segment who confronts evil.  A segment who believes that truth and rights come from our Creator.  A segment who sees a crisis as a call to do the right thing

These two positions are at their very core irreconcilable, and the emotions of both camps have been extensively whipped up by their respective leaders.  Opponents have been dehumanized and portrayed as "zombies" worthy of eradication.  Fear and hate are palpable in America.

How did we get here?

America failed to abide in our Constitution and in the Creator of heaven and earth.  We failed to safeguard the form of government and liberties it provides, having neglected our duty as citizens of this nation.  At our founding, We The People were sovereign.  But we have stood by while our government has steadily taken it away from us.  We have believed that through human effort our government can make a more perfect society.  We have convinced ourselves that America could not become like Nazi Germany or Rwanda where citizens commit mass murder and atrocities against their fellow citizens.  We have therefore sat idly by, sedated and distracted with music, movies, sports, and medication pretending that there is no problem, and if there is a problem, it will sort itself out.

As a result or our indifference, leaders of both parties have been guilty of taking us down a very dangerous path.  Both parties have involved us in unnecessary wars.  Both parties have bankrupted our nation by increasing our national debt to the point where it may be mathematically impossible to repay.  Both parties have passed legislation that infringe on our liberties.  Both parties have sought ways to circumvent the Constitution--and succeeded in doing so. Both parties have worked to undermine the sovereignty of our nation in favor of globalism.

Is our government doing things to us, or for us?

If We The People do not change the course of our nation quickly and restore our sovereignty, we may never be able to.

But are we already be too late?  George Washington instructed us that our nation depends upon morals and religion to function properly.  Without these two elements, it is doubtful that our Constitutional Republic can survive.  Have our morals already become so debased, and God removed so completely from our thoughts and actions, that our republic can no longer function as designed?  Perhaps we should just accept that our debauched culture now needs a dictator to keep it in line.  Perhaps we should rejoin the culture of the rest of the world, the very same world that many of our forefathers rejected by leaving everything behind and coming to an America where they could be more free.

After America, there is nowhere left to go.  Once America's freedom is gone, that's it.

We Americans, as every people of the world, get the government we deserve.  What kind of government do you think we deserve?  If it's not what you see now, then get out there and work to change it.  Wake up, pull your head out of the sand, contemplate our situation as a nation, and act.  Your life and your children's lives depend upon what you do this day, and every day after.

The bottom line is this: the battle for the future of America is not in Iran, Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen or Libya.  The battle is in America.  Put on the full armor of God and march to the sounds of the guns.

Karl Marx Wanted to Destroy Mankind

"Seeing that for the Socialist man all of so-called world history is nothing other than the creation of man through human work, than the development of nature for man, he has the incontestable proof of his being born from himself.... The criticism of religion ends with the teaching that man is the supreme being for man." -- Karl Marx
Karl Marx was deeply disturbed and did not have the best interest of humankind in mind.  His desired end was more in line with that of the devil--turn humans away from God and lead them to destruction.  What follows is from Richards Wurmbrand's book "Marx & Satan."

"We see this clearly in Marx's poetry. In "Invocation of One in Despair" and "Human Pride" man's supreme supplication is for his own greatness. If man is doomed to perish through his own greatness, this will be a cosmic catastrophe, but he will die as a godlike being, mourned by demons. Marx's ballad "The Player" records the singer's complaints against a God who neither knows nor respects his art. This emerges from the dark abyss of hell, bedeviling the mind and bewitching the heart, and his dance is the dance of death." The minstrel draws his sword and throws it into the poet's soul.

In his poem "Human Pride," Marx admits that his aim is not to improve the world or to reform or revolutionize it, but simply to ruin it and to enjoy its being ruined:
With disdain I will throw my gauntlet
Full in the face of the world,
And see the collapse of this pygmy giant
Whose fall will not stifle my ardour.
Then will I wander godlike and victorious
Through the ruins of the world
And, giving my words an active force,
I will feel equal to the Creator.
Marx adopted Satanism after intense inner struggle....

The overriding reason for Marx's conversion to communism appears clearly in a letter of his friend Georg Jung to Ruge: it was not the emancipation of the proletariat, nor even the establishing of a better social order. Jung writes:
If Marx, Bruno Bauer and Feuerbach associate to found a theological-political review, God would do well to surround himself with all his angels and indulge in self-pity, for these three will certainly drive him out of heaven...."

The Harbinger, by Jonathan Cahn



"If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land."
--2 Chronicles 7:14

I commend "The Harbinger," by Jonathan Cahn, for you to read.  The author's premise is that the events of September 11, 2001, were a wake-up call from God warning America to turn from its wicked ways and return to him.  He cites passages from the Prophet Isaiah to compare it to when ancient Israel received a similar warning that they, in turn, did not heed.  (He does not claim that Israel and America are the same, only that the warnings are similar.)

Whether you completely agree with the author's analysis of the events leading up to, the day of, and after September 11th, the most important point of his thought process is the answer to this question:

Who did America turn to in the aftermath of that day for their safety, security, and redemption?

The bottom line is that it was not God, and therein lies our problem.

Instead of the nation turning from it's current path and seeking the face of God, we sought to solve all our problems with our own hands.  We have sought solutions from our human government, rather than trusting in the wisdom and grace of God.

Because we as humans cannot solve these problems before us and refuse to rely on God, we are forced to continue attempting to do so, taking bolder and bolder measures, until we reach utter and complete failure.  That is why our Federal Government has grown so large, taken over so many portions of our economy and nation, and why we have sought a "savior" of sorts to occupy the office of the President.  It is the very collectivization that I have spoken of and F.A. Hayek has warned us about.  We must come together as humans to solve our problems since we no longer trust in the Lord.

All of these solutions made from human hands, absent of God, will ultimately fail.

Only if we as a nation turn from our wicked ways and once again seek the face of our Creator will we have any hope of once again living in peace and security within our nation.

Today in America we are faced with a choice about who is sovereign--God or Man?  Most other nations in the world have already made this choice and decided that Man is sovereign.  Our Founding Fathers strove to leave such nations.  When our nation was formed, they chose God.  Now we are faced with this choice once again, and we must have the courage to pick one or the other.

We are witnessing these two competing beliefs throughout our society, and it impacts where we as a nation believe Truth resides.  If Truth resides with a sovereign God, then Truth is an unchanging foundation upon which we can base our laws and society.  If it is with a sovereign Man, then Truth is an ever-shifting foundation that moves based on the desires of the human being (or beings) in power.

Frankly, it appears that we are moving full speed toward a rejection of God's sovereignty and an acceptance of Man's.  Moving toward a sovereign Man exhibits many tendencies:
  1. The rejection of humans as created in God's image and the acceptance of humans as mere animals, just a little bit more "evolved" than the rest (this myth is perpetuated to create a competing explanation for the existence of humans that undermines God's Truth and replaces it with Man's)
  2. Because we are animals, our behaviors result from our "nature" and "environment," removing personal responsibility for our actions
  3. Because we are animals, we should not be restricted by "morality," but should instead give in to our "natural" desires and do as we wish
  4. Because of the reduction in morality, there is an increase in the need for the Sovereign to control the populace, for they now cause more problems
  5. As the populace becomes increasingly irresponsible, liberties will be taken away since the people can no longer responsibly govern themselves
  6. Because we are animals, our population needs to be controlled to protect the health of our species and prevent overpopulation (eugenics and abortion)
  7. To govern such a population of irresponsible human "animals," a centralized, collective government must be instituted, ruled by the "elite" and "enlightened."  The sovereign will have to instruct the populace on how to live their lives in order to protect them from themselves and to protect those around them.  In essence, the sovereign will determine the rights of the people.  The ultimate end of this sort of thinking is global control of the human population.
  8. Finally, because Truth resides in the human sovereign, then anyone who either goes against the sovereign or does not believe that Truth resides with him is an enemy of the State and will be persecuted in order to maintain the authority of the human sovereign.  (tyranny)
The bottom line is that these two opposite beliefs, Man holding ultimate Truth and God holding ultimate Truth, are incompatible and cannot reasonably coexist in a nation.  As we witness Man's Truth in the ascendant in America, we must realize that a choice will have to be made.  That choice is whether this nation believes that Truth resides with God, or Truth resides with Man.  

As we continue forward, watching both beliefs vying for control of our nation, there are some potential courses of action for the resolution of this conflict.
  1. Status Quo.  We continue on the current path, watching God's Truth be steadily pushed out of the fabric of our nation.  Basically, accept "fate," do nothing, and allow Man's Truth to take over the nation.
  2. National Choice.  Convene something akin to a Constitutional Convention and lay out the issue before the American people to make a choice of our national sovereign.
  3. State Choices.  Allow each State to choose its sovereign, effectively dissolving the Union, but allowing certain segments of society to go the way they wish.  This will most likely see massive migrations of populations.
  4. Civil War.  This is similar to scenario #1, but instead of accepting "fate," the issue comes to a head and each side takes up arms against the other.  This could result in the dissolution of the Union, one side or the other being victorious and maintaining the Union, or foreign occupation.
  5. Election.  Elect a President and Congress who execute a "reset" on the government and restore it to its Constitutional foundations.
These scenarios certainly do not address all potentialities.  However, the point is that our nation must decide on this issue, the effects of which will rest on the course of action taken.  

Our nation was founded upon the fact that Truth lies with our Sovereign, the Lord, Creator of Heaven and Earth.  Entities within our nation are trying to undermine and change that.  When all is said and done, we cannot allow them to do so below the table.  It must be a conscious decision, done with the consent of the People.

Are You Ready for "Peace?"

What follows is an analysis of the "Report from Iron Mountain," a study conducted in 1966 to determine how to prepare American society for disarmament ("peace").  This analysis was done prior to my reading Chapter 24 of "The Creature from Jekyll Island."

Introduction
I began my blog as an investigation into current events, because they seemed far outside the norm of what should be happening in the United State of America as established by our Founding Fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.  I sought to discover the motivation behind these events.  From my research, I have developed the hypothesis that world leaders are attempting to establish a "One World Government" to finally bring "peace" to the world.  Let me explain:
  1. I believe that God, as revealed to us in the Bible, exists.
  2. I believe that men have a natural tendency to seek power over other men.
  3. I believe that men have a natural desire to attempt to solve humanity's problems (i.e. establish "peace"), without the assistance or acknowledgement of God, as this will make them god-like.
  4. If you are going to establish "peace" on the planet, you will have a plan to do so.
I believe that I may have come across a seed crystal for just such a plan that focuses on transitioning a society from a state "war" to a state of "peace," potentially under a One World Government of some sort.  This plan is described in the "Report from Iron Mountain" which was written in 1966 by a group of 15 professionals who represented different fields and professions and were collectively referred to as the Special Study Group.  We are potentially seeing glimpses of the actions taken during such a transition today.

Whether or not anyone follows the recommendations of this Report verbatim, the thought process behind it is very similar to what is being done for Agenda 21 and other socialist movements.  The authors of the Report call for centralized control of the population, and acknowledge that "The elimination of war implies the inevitable elimination of national sovereignty and the traditional nation-state." (p. 36)  Interestingly enough, this is not at odds with general communist goals, as stated at the first World Congress in 1919:
The Comintern [Communist International] would work "by all available means, including armed force, for the overthrow of the international bourgeoisie and for the creation of an international Soviet republic as a transition stage to the complete abolition of the State."  (source)
Before we continue, we must ask ourselves, what is "peace" (dictionary definition).  In the Report, it only means the absence of war between nations.  But there is an implication that is not stated.  With peace, generally something must be surrendered.  In Christianity, the individual surrenders to Christ.  In Islam, the society surrender to all the aspects of its totalitarian ideology.  So what do you surrender in a man-made peace?  I believe it is your liberties afforded you as an American citizen, because according to this report, to achieve peace, the population must be deceived and strictly controlled.  If you believe what the Lord has taught us, there will be no true peace until the return of our Savior.  Until then, any efforts by man to do likewise, especially through socialist methods, will end in utter failure, and most likely death (look back to transitions in Soviet Russia, Communist China, and Pol Pot in Cambodia).

The "Report from Iron Mountain" indicates that the following actions may be required in a transition to peace:
  1. Deceiving the people of the United States
  2. Maintaining centralized control of the population
  3. Massive disarmament and the transition of the economy to another form
  4. Creating fictitious alternate enemies (aliens, pollution, etc.)
  5. Potentially implementing a modern form of slavery
  6. Implementation of a eugenics program for population control
  7. Implementation of a massive social welfare program
What the Report does not address:
  1. God (ruled out from the beginning)
  2. The People of the United States as being sovereign
  3. The Constitution of the United States and the protection of individual liberties
In its Report, the Special Study Group (SSG) first looked at the current state of war and its functions within society, identified what is needed for transition to peace, and then made recommendations as to what substitutes could replace those functions provided by war.

The Functions of War (from pp. 59-60 of the Report)

1. Economic.  War has provided both ancient and modern societies with a dependable system for stabilizing and controlling national economies.
2. Political. The permanent possibility of war is the foundation for stable government; it supplies the basis for general acceptance of political authority. It has enabled societies to maintain necessary class distinctions, and it has ensured the subordination of the citizen to the state, by virtue of the residual war powers
inherent in the concept of nationhood.
3. Sociological.  War, through the medium of military institutions, has uniquely served societies, throughout the course of known history, as an indispensable controller of dangerous social dissidence and destructive
antisocial tendencies.... [T]he war system has provided the machinery through which the motivational forces governing human behavior have been translated into binding social allegiance. It has thus ensured the degree of social cohesion necessary to the viability of nations.
4. Ecological.  War has been the principal evolutionary device for maintaining a satisfactory ecological balance between gross human population and supplies available for its survival.
5. Cultural and Scientific. War-orientation has determined the basic standards of value in the creative arts, and has provided the fundamental motivational source of scientific and technological progress. The concepts that the arts express values independent of their own forms and that the successful pursuit of knowledge has intrinsic social value have long been accepted in modern societies; the development of the arts and sciences during this period has been corollary to the parallel development of weaponry.

Requirements for Transition to Peace (from p. 61 of the Report)

1. Economic.  An acceptable economic surrogate for the war system will require the expenditure of resources for completely nonproductive purposes at a level comparable to that of the military expenditures otherwise demanded by the size and complexity of each society. Such a substitute system of apparent "waste" must be of a nature that will permit it to remain independent of the normal supply-demand economy; it must be subject to arbitrary political control.
2. Political. A viable political substitute for war must posit a generalized external menace to each society of a nature and degree sufficient to require the organization and acceptance of political authority.
3. Sociological.  First, in the permanent absence of war, new institutions must be developed that will effectively control the socially destructive segments of societies. Second, for purposes of adapting the physical and psychological dynamics of human behavior to the needs of social organization, a credible substitute for war must generate an omnipresent and readily understood fear of personal destruction. This fear must be of a nature and degree sufficient to ensure adherence to societal values to the full extent that they are acknowledged to transcend the value of individual human life.
4. Ecological.  A substitute for war in its function as the uniquely human system of population control must ensure the survival, if not necessarily the improvement, of the species, in terms of its relations to environmental supply.
5. Cultural and Scientific. A surrogate for the function of war as the determinant of cultural values must establish a basis of socio-moral conflict of equally compelling force and scope. A substitute motivational basis for the quest for scientific knowledge must be similarly informed by a comparable sense of internal necessity.

Potential Substitutes for War Functions (p. 62 of the Report)
1. Economic.
    a) A comprehensive social-welfare program, directed toward maximum improvement of general conditions of human life.
    b) A giant open-end space research program, aimed at unreachable targets.
    c) A permanent, ritualized, ultra-elaborate disarmament inspection system, and variants of such a
system. (This last substitute was generally rejected by the SSG.)
2. Political.
    a) An omnipresent, virtually omnipotent international police force. (This recommendation was generally dismissed by the SSG because it would imply a continuing state of warfare of some nature.)
    b) An established and recognized extraterrestrial menace.
    c) Massive global environmental pollution. d) Fictitious alternate enemies.
3. Sociological.
    Control Function:
      a) Programs generally derived from the Peace Corps model.
      b) A modern, sophisticated form of slavery.
    Motivational Function:
      a) Intensified environmental pollution.
      b) New religions or other mythologies.
      c) Socially oriented blood games.
      d) Combination forms.
4. Ecological. A comprehensive program of applied eugenics.  (eugenics: the study of or belief in the possibility of improving the qualities of the human species or a human population, especially by such means as discouraging reproduction by persons having genetic defects or presumed to have inheritable undesirable traits (negative eugenics) or encouraging reproduction by persons presumed to have inheritable desirable traits (positive eugenics).)
5. Cultural and Scientific.
    Cultural: No replacement institution offered.
    Scientific: The secondary requirements of the space research, social welfare, and / or eugenics programs.

Signs of Transition

Like all good planners, the SSG recommends that the solutions be arrived at before implementation begins.  What follows is taking the model provided by the SSG planners and fitting current events to that model.  The fact that many current events fit into this model does not in and of itself validate that the powers-that-be are actually following the model as laid out in the Report.  However, it could help explain these curious events that currently seem to make no sense otherwise.

1. Economic.
    a. The Affordable Care Act, being enormous in cost, independent of the normal supply/demand model, and under arbitrary political control, may meet the criteria to be a substitute function for the current military expenditures of the United States.  It even calls for a new civil defense force that may meet the need for a Peace Corps type organization in the Sociological realm.
    b. Some national leaders have thrown out the ideas of establishing a "moon base" or putting a human on Mars, which could be interpreted as efforts to establish an open-ended space program as the substitute for the military portion of the budget.
    c. Sequestration and the currently planned cuts to the military budget will assist in significantly reducing the size of the United States military over a 10-year period, and reduce its portion of the entire national budget.
    d. The current precarious position of the US military deployed in the Pacific and Mideast could result in significant losses should war erupt in near-simultaneous fashion.  This, coupled with the budget/deficit problems, could force the retirement of the US military from overseas positions.
    e. The creation of, and government support for, "green jobs" may be an attempt to replace a portion of the military industry in the economy with a completely new sector.

2. Political.
    a. The UFO phenomenon that has been present for decades now may not be a credible enough threat  to force people to accept political authority.  Threat from a meteor/asteroid strike might not either.
    b. Islam could be used as the external (and potentially internal) "menace," or even the controlling political structure itself.  However, the acceptance of Islam by the American people as that internal political structure may not be feasible.

3. Sociological.
   a. There will be a requirement to transition people currently serving in the military into other professions due to "general disarmament."  The new initiative by the Department of Defense, "Reverse Boot Camp," could be the start point for a larger program to support such massive disarmament and returning military professionals to civilian life commensurate with the disarmament.
   b. With the amount of debt being placed on the backs of the American taxpayer in the form of the national debt, home loans, college loans, etc., this could potentially serve as a modern form of slavery for the American people--slavery to enormous debt that is owed to the central government. (control function)
   c.  There are the current hyped-up threats of man-made "global warming" and "climate change" that can be used for the motivational function and provide "fear of personal destruction."  Maybe an asteroid or meteor strike.  (motivational function)

4. Ecological.
    a. Legalized abortion serves eugenics purposes by limiting the size of the population and the number of children had by members of the lower classes of society.  With pre-natal testing, abortion allows couples to abort children with birth defects.
    b. The promotion of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender behavior also helps reduce the size of the population by encouraging men to "shoot at the wrong target" and women to opt out of child-bearing relationships.
    c. Some researchers are now suggesting that post-birth abortions are ethical, which can also be used to reduce the size of the population and eliminate children with birth defects that were not identified in the womb.

5. Cultural and Scientific.
    a. A potential cultural replacement institution could be Islam which brings with it the complete totalitarian package that appears to be required by this Report.  However, the SSG potentially dismisses the need for a "god" by stating "It may be, however, that a basic cultural value-determinant [i.e. God] is not necessary to the survival of a stable society." (p. 63)  Another possibility could be the worship of the planet.
    b. An attempt to find a substitute for the scientific contributions of the war industry could be with the development "green technology," or potentially the space exploration sector should the US decide to resume its space program.

Special Study Group Recommendation

The Special Study Group's (SSG) primary recommendation at the conclusion of the report was for the United States Government to establish a WAR/PEACE Research Agency to determine technically feasible, politically acceptable, and socially credible "substitute institutions for the principal non-military  functions of war" (pp. 61, 69) and "to ensure the continuing viability of the war system to fulfill its essential nonmilitary functions for as long as the war system is judged necessary to or desirable for the survival of society." (p. 70)

The Agency's organization and powers are described as follows:
This agency (a) will be provided with non-accountable funds sufficient to implement its responsibilities and decisions at its own discretion, and (b) will have authority to preempt and utilize, without restriction, any and all facilities of the executive branch of the government in pursuit of its objectives. It will be organized along the lines of the National Security Council, except that none of its governing, executive, or operating personnel will hold other public office or governmental responsibility. Its directorate will be drawn from the broadest practicable spectrum of scientific disciplines, humanistic studies, applied creative arts, operating technologies, and otherwise unclassified professional occupations. It will be responsible solely to the President, or to other officers of government temporarily deputized by him. Its operations will be governed entirely by its own rules of procedure. Its authority will expressly include the unlimited right to withhold information on its activities and its decisions, from anyone except the President, whenever it deems such secrecy to be in the public interest. (p. 69)
Conclusion of the Special Study Group (pp. 64-66)
Such solutions, if indeed they exist, will not be arrived at without a revolutionary revision of the modes of thought heretofore considered appropriate to peace research. That we have examined the fundamental questions involved from a dispassionate, value-free [aka no God] point of view should not imply that we do not appreciate the intellectual and emotional difficulties that must be overcome on all decision-making levels before these questions are generally acknowledged by others for what they are. (p. 64)
A viable system of peace, assuming that the great and complex questions of substitute institutions raised in this Report are both soluble and solved, would still constitute a venture into the unknown, with the inevitable risks attendant on the unforeseen, however small and however well hedged. (p. 65)
It is possible that one or more major sovereign nations may arrive, through ambiguous leadership, at a position in which a ruling administrative class may lose control of basic public opinion or of its ability to rationalize a desired war. It is not hard to imagine, in such circumstances, a situation in which such governments may feel forced to initiate serious full-scale disarmament proceedings (perhaps provoked by "accidental" nuclear explosions), and that such negotiations may lead to the actual disestablishment of military institutions. As our Report has made clear, this could be catastrophic.(p. 66)
Summary

This Report is one of the most evil documents I have ever read.  The SSG presupposes the absence of God, and treats humans as animals governed by evolution and survival of the fittest.  Not surprisingly, their construct is the polar opposite of how our Founding Fathers solved the problem of creating a new government for the United States of America, by first assuming there is a God who endowed us with certain unalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

What we observe in the Report from Iron Mountain is man's total reliance on science (or human knowledge and reason) and a blatant rejection of God.  What is important to know is that there are people in the world that think this way, and can exploit science and reason to "rationally" support their conclusions, no matter how faulty their premises or how inhumane their solutions.  As a result, these are very dangerous people.

The Report from Iron Mountain, like socialism, is a great thought exercise.  However, its implementation will result in utter failure because of a critical precondition that was set by the Group: that God is not a factor (basically, does not exist).

The United States of America, as a Christian nation, can never be at "peace" with the rest of the world.  This is because the rest of the world is replete with poisonous ideologies that seek to destroy our liberties and faith in God.  So to even harbor the thought that peace is possible before the return of Christ is fallacious.

Finally, in the United States, the people are sovereign.  The fact that this Report proposes that our government deceive the people in order to transition to a state of peace indicates that many of the recommendations of the "Report from Iron Mountain" are treasonous (treason1. the offense of acting to overthrow one's government or to harm or kill its sovereign. 2.a violation of allegiance to one's sovereign or to one's state. 3. the betrayal of a trust or confidence; breach of faith; treachery.).

Read the Report from Iron Mountain at your own mental peril.  Two of the group members experienced heart attacks following the completion of the Report. (p. 13)  I personally have not experienced such a bad physical response to reading a document since reading descriptions of partial-birth abortions.

The Six Commandments


During the month of May, 2012, US District Court Judge Michael Urbanski (Roanoke, Virginia) has been attempting to settle a lawsuit brought forth by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) on behalf of the Freedom from Religion Foundation (and unspecified students) against the Giles County (Virginia) School District for "violating" the establishment clause in the First Amendment to the Constitution by displaying the Ten Commandments in Narrows High School.  A "compromise" has been proposed whereby the first four of the Ten Commandments are removed from the display.
First things first, the text of the First Amendment:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Further commentary (from Wikipedia) on the Establishment Clause:
Originally, the First Amendment applied only to the federal government. A number of the states effectively had established churches when the First Amendment was ratified, with some remaining into the early nineteenth century.
Subsequently, Everson v. Board of Education (1947) incorporated the Establishment Clause (i.e., made it apply against the states)However, it was not until the middle to late twentieth century that the Supreme Court began to interpret the Establishment and Free Exercise Clauses in such a manner as to restrict the promotion of religion by the states. In the Board of Education of Kiryas Joel Village School District v. Grumet, 512 U.S. 687 (1994), Justice David Souter, writing for the majority, concluded that "government should not prefer one religion to another, or religion to irreligion."
Thank you David Souter, et al, for leading the way in restricting the free expression of the religion upon which this nation was founded (Christianity).  As you recall, the Declaration of Independence, which is the philosophic basis for our constitutional form of government, states "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."  If the Christian God should be removed, the entire foundation of our nation falls apart and the Government must then fill in the gap that is left, giving them free rein to take away our God-given rights.

So if the school district should follow the judge's advice, let's take a look at what the modified Ten Commandments from Exodus 20:1-17 would be:
And God spoke all these words, saying: “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
  1. You shall have no other gods before me. 
     
  2. You shall not make for yourself any carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
     
  3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.
     
  4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.
     
  5. Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
     
  6. You shall not murder.
     
  7. You shall not commit adultery.
     
  8. You shall not steal.
     
  9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
     
  10. You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”
Since we are now left with six commandments and no God, then whose "commandments" are they?  By default, it would be the Government.  This implies that the Government has power over God, is smarter than God, and chooses which Commandments are best for us despite what God says.  This is completely antithetical to the formation of our nation.

Our Founding Fathers were Christians and based our form of government on the fact that God exists, and that we must also be protected from a Government that attempts to assume god-like powers as stated in the Declaration: "That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."  Perhaps what we are witnessing is a increasingly carnal and pagan America that believes its Safety and Happiness no longer reside with God, but in a life running away from Him.  If this is true, then there is nothing short of a full-blown Christian Revival that can reverse the perverse road that the people of this nation are currently taking.

Should the school district accept the shaving of the Ten Commandments down to six, this would be just one of a thousand cuts that the pagans have been using to destroy God's influence in America. The primary tactic used by the pagans/progressives/communists/socialists is compromise--to force us to slowly compromise away our values, our heritage, our life, and our God until they cease to exist.  They are patient, make every cut they can get away with, and absolutely demonize those who refuse to compromise, with the thought that they will ultimately prevail.  

Our Founders acknowledged that our nation was in the world, but was to be set apart from the rest of it by our faith and form of government.  Today many of our leaders believe the exact opposite, that we should be representative of the world, combining and accommodating all worldly cultures within our borders.  This is a clear practice of syncretism, or "the combining of different (often contradictory) beliefs, often while melding practices of various schools of thought. Syncretism may involve the merger and analogising of several originally discrete traditions, especially in the theology and mythology of religion, thus asserting an underlying unity and allowing for an inclusive approach to other faiths." (from Wikipedia) This will most certainly lead to our nation's destruction.

If we remove the Christian God from America as so many demand, they will not achieve their desire to be free from God.  On the contrary, they will quickly see that they have received a new god, the Government, and I can assure you that this new god will not be as Just as our Creator.

The Pinheaded “Art” of Retreat and Surrender

God Will Never Forgive Us If . . .

Sometimes a word, a phrase, or a line from a song or a movie can ring in your ears and refuse to let go. As luck would have it, I found myself awaking this morning to an old WWII film on Turner Classic Movies – “The White Cliffs of Dover”(1944).

The movie was based on a 1940 novel by Alice Duer Miller, The White Cliffs.

“The story is of an American girl who coming to London as a tourist, meets and marries a young upper-class Englishman in the period just before the First World War. The War begins and he goes to the front. He is killed just before the end of the War, leaving her with a young son. Her son is the heir to the family estate. Despite the pull of her own country and the impoverished condition of the estate, she decides to stay and live the traditional life of a member of the English upper class. The story concludes as The Second World War commences and she worries that her son, like his father, will be killed fighting for the country he loves.”

Actually, the movie concludes with a very poignant scene between the mother, Susan Ashwood (Irene Dunn) and her war-wounded and dying son John Ashwood II (Peter Lawford). As the dying John turns his head and quietly slips away, the mother (still gazing at a military parade outside the window and unaware that he has died) speaks to her son the last line in the movie.

“God will never forgive us if we break faith with our dead again.”

The above phrase is not a theological reflection, but the angst of a fictional mother who has lost husband and son to two World Wars. She sees that war will come again and again to those who fail to heed history’s lessons. It is not God who will never forgive us. It is we who will never forgive ourselves.

Unlike the propaganda films of an earlier era designed to build national unity, America chose instead to imbed reporters who often showed more sympathy for the terrorists than for our own soldiers. Instead of nation building works of fiction we served ourselves helping after helping of enemy generated fiction and disguised it at truth. Instead of holding some of our citizens accountable for acts of treason in time of war, we turned them into celebrities. Those of us who have remained silent are as guilty as the perpetrators.

The question today is, do we break faith with our dead soldiers by staying the course in Iraq, or by cutting and running? Or are there other options beyond the widely criticized Baker-Hamilton Iraq Study Group Report? I propose that there is only one viable option and that it to show the world that we do have a center – a moral core – National unity – and the will to win!

Those Who Will to Forget

Those who fail to remember history are doomed to repeat history.

We parents pay our hard-earned money to send our kids off to college hear this kind of pinheaded clap-trap.

“As long as that insecurity holds America in its grip, we will make our foreign policy based on fictional images and the emotions they evoke. We won't be able to think through our problems in a reasonable way and arrive at realistic constructive solutions. One way to ease the grip of insecurity is to recognize that Pearl Harbor was a unique one-time event, the product of unique historical circumstances that will never return. After 65 years, it's time to retire the image of Pearl Harbor and bid it a not-so-fond farewell.”

Here we have an example of yet another numb-skull professor pronouncing the obvious - that Pearl Harbor was a “unique one-time event” that will never return. Well duh??? Of course Pearl Harbor was unique, and so was 9/11, and so was the war in Viet Nam, and so is the war in Iraq. As a matter of fact, every instant of every day is filled with unique one-time events that will never return. However, events with elements of great similarity do occur again and again at different times, under different historical circumstances, and in different guises, but ALWAYS presenting universal lessons. If that were not the case there would be no point in telling any stories, or of ever recording or teaching history, or of keeping statistics, or of doing studies and making reports, or in fact, there would be no point in humanity itself!

Story-telling is the very essence of what it means to be human for only humans can pass on the benefits of what they have learned to another generation. Without the ability to tell its story, no culture can long survive. Those who would will a nation to forget Pearl Harbor or 9/11 have but one objective – the destruction of National Unity!

Well so much for December 7, 1941 – a day that will not live in infamy if we continue to will ourselves to forget!

Let’s Start by Learning the Historical Lessons of Appeasement.

Neville Chamberlain “is perhaps the most ill-regarded British Prime Minister of the 20th century, largely because of his policy of appeasement towards Nazi Germany regarding the abandonment of Czechoslovakia to Hitler at Munich in 1938. Also in 1938 giving up the Irish Free State Navy Ports, in practical terms making it safe for German submarines to stay about 200 miles west of the Irish coast (and therefore out of range of the British Navy) where they could pick off the merchant marine at will. His unpopularity lead to his derogatory nickname "pinhead".”

The Baker-Hamilton Iraq Study Group Report – A Pinheaded “consensus for surrender and an outline for retreat”?

· Kills America’s bargaining power by setting an arbitrary pullout deadline of early 2008
· Recommends dialog with terrorist nations
· Emboldens the enemy by projecting an image of American weakness
· Will intensify the war

The Elephant Bar says: “The Iraq Study Group Report is the consensus of a bi-partisan elite, only one of whom has been outside the Green Zone. It satisfies the left's demand for acknowledgment of the quagmire, but it fails to deliver on hyped expectations and has been widely panned by the critics as little more than a consensus for surrender and an outline for retreat. It could also be called aid and comfort for the other side. Iran and Syria can hardly contain themselves such is their glee at having humbled the Great Satan. Israel thinks the report is an embarrassment for both major American parties. Nancy Pelosi also calls for consensus.”

Revisiting Sun Tzu’s The Art of War

Since there were no high ranking members of the military invited to participate in the Iraq Study Group, it’s a good bet that the group was not too familiar with this ancient military classic. If we were to look at the following seven military conditions, how would we rate America at war today? How would we rate the Baker-Hamilton Iraq Study Group Report?

“Therefore, in your deliberations, when seeking to determine the military conditions, let them be made the basis of a comparison, in this wise:--

(1) Which of the two sovereigns is imbued with the Moral law?
(2) Which of the two generals has most ability?
(3) With whom lie the advantages derived from Heaven and Earth?
(4) On which side is discipline most rigorously enforced?
(5) Which army is stronger?
(6) On which side are officers and men more highly trained?
(7) In which army is there the greater constancy both in reward and punishment?

By means of these seven considerations I can forecast victory or defeat. . . .

Now, when your weapons are dulled, your ardor damped, your strength exhausted and your treasure spent, other chieftains will spring up to take advantage of your extremity. Then no man, however wise, will be able to avert the consequences that must ensue.”

One final thought. . . Diversity without unity is nothing more than a smoldering ember before the inferno. Any nation without consensus and at war with itself, any nation that has lost belief in its moral superiority, and any nation that has lost trust in a God who will call its citizens to account, is a nation that cannot win any war, any time, any where!
