Two American Children Free from Taliban Madrassa

Cross posted from Right Truth

American boys let free from Pakistani Madrassa, via email from Karachi Kids.com, with much thanks. Go see the video/documentary here.

Two American Children Escorted from Taliban Madrassa by American Consulate in Karachi for Flight to NYC

"Karachi Kids" Documentary Spurs Action

(July 10 -- Atlanta, GA) -

Two American children were escorted by the American consulate officers in Karachi, Pakistan Tuesday night Pakistan time and boarded a flight to Dubai, UAE and then boarded a direct flight to NYC, Noor Elahi Khan and Mahboob Elahi Khan are expected to arrive in Atlanta on a Delta flight this afternoon at 4:30 PM.

The two brothers have been in a Pakistani madrassa for four years and are the focus of a newly released documentary entitled "The Karachi Kids".

"I have been working for months to secure their exit from the Madrassa and from Pakistan," said Imran Raza, writer, director and executive producer of the Karachi Kids documentary. "This is great news, but we need to get the other American children out of there, now. There are nearly 80 other Americans currently at this Jamia Binoria madrassa -- that teaches Deobandism -- the religion of the Taliban. Our government, and the Pakistani government, has more work to do to get the other American children out of there."

Raza discovered the two children from Atlanta while filming a documentary about madrassas. He returned to the madrassa three times in four years to film their transformation in the hands of the radical mullahs. Children in the documentary film "The Karachi Kids" describe beatings and human rights violations for those who reject the radical teachings of their Taliban masters. Children from California and Georgia are interviewed in the film from inside the madrassa and discuss coming back to the United States to spread extremism within our borders.

The trailer of the documentary can be seen at www.KarachiKids.com.

The headmaster of the Binoria madrassa personally recruits American children to his institution during Ramadan, and says on camera that: "We work on altering the mindset of the students we are training, so when they return to their home countries, their mindset is such that they will work on altering the minds of others. That is why I'm appealing to you that at least 1000 to 2000 boys come to us so we can train them and they will go back to their home countries and do the work and make people understand." The headmaster of the Binoria madrassa also states that he has already graduated 100 American children from his madrassa.

Germany Wants to Ban Scientology

Originally posted at Right Truth

'll be the first to admit that Scientology is a scam, but would anyone consider banning Islam? Heads would roll. From Wikipedia:
Scientology is a body of beliefs and related practices initially developed by L. Ron Hubbard in 1952 as an outgrowth of his earlier self-help system, Dianetics.[1] Hubbard later characterized Scientology as an "applied religious philosophy" and the basis for a new religion.[1] Scientology encompasses a spiritual rehabilitation philosophy and techniques, and covers topics such as morals, ethics, detoxification, education and management. The first Church of Scientology was founded in 1953.

In truth, Scientology is a money-making industry. The only good I've ever heard coming from Scientology is their detox program, which many Hollywood-types have taken advantage of -- for a price.

Germany could be asked to ban the U.S.-based Church of Scientology under a Hamburg security official's proposal that contends the group violates human rights.

Hamburg's secretary of the interior, Udo Nagel, plans to seek a nationwide ban of Scientology at this week's meeting of top German security officials, spokeswoman Ulrike Sweden said Monday.

The German government considers Scientology a commercial enterprise that takes advantage of vulnerable people. During the summer, it initially refused to allow the producers of a movie starring Scientology member Tom Cruise as Germany's most famous anti-Hitler plotter to film at the site where the hero was executed, although it did not expressly state Scientology as its reason.

If all 16 states agree to the proposal to ban Scientology, German Interior Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble would be asked to initiate proceedings against it, Sweden said, confirming a report by Focus magazine.

The report quotes Nagel saying that Scientology pursues "anti-constitutional goals in an aggressively fierce" manner that run counter to human rights and dignity.

A spokeswoman for Scientology, Sabine Weber, called Nagel's proposal "more than incomprehensible" and pointed out that the European Court of Human Rights ruled in favor of Scientology when Russia denied its application to register as a religious community.

The United States has said that Germany discriminates against some religious groups, including Scientology, that Germany does not recognize as a religion. (SFGate)

Arrest made in Canadian letter bomb terror plot -- UPDATED -- US and foreign connections

Originally posted at Right Truth

UPDATE: Adel Mohamed Arnaout was "carrying very unstable explosives in amounts far in excess and much more lethal than contained within the letter bombs. The victims were not chosen at random, but the motives are not being released at this time. Arnaout worked "as a security guard for a Toronto based security firm." Neighbors noticed "a lot of vehicular traffic by vehicles with license plates from various U.S. states" at the bunker house where "between 20-30 people lived." All this information based on investigations by Judy McLeod of Canada Free Press and Douglas J. Hagmann of Northeast Intelligence Network, article here.

"I have seen two or three men talking on satellite phones. I know what they look like, I've used one before." This source added: "I know there are computers on constantly, and there are a lot of deliveries made to the house by private carriers like DHL and other private concerns. [snip]

"There have been many vehicles with license plates from New York, Ohio, Michigan, all from the United States coming and going to and from the house," stated the third resident interviewed. I've seen men dressed in full Muslim attire coming from the U.S., staying for short periods, then leaving. Sometimes, three or four men would arrive, and only one or two would leave." This source also stated that he has heard that "some of the men have connections to mosques in Buffalo and Lackawanna in the U.S. and Mississauga in Ontario. I don't have any way to verify this, but I've been told by others in the area."

According to the two police officials who have provided information, Canadian officials are investigating possible connections to at least three overseas countries, including Lebanon, Pakistan and Egypt. While our police sources declined to comment on any possible connections to Hezbollah, they both noted that a "decisive majority" of Muslims appear to support Hezbollah as evidenced by recent anti-Israeli rallies tacitly sanctioned by Canada's political system. The original complaints and victims:

Harassment & letter-bomb victims

# June 2007: SCOTT, Steven; Toronto, Ontario [Harassment]
# 11 August 2007: RADI, Abdel Magid Radi: Victoria Park and Lawrence Ave. E. area, Scarborough, Ontario [Letter bomb -- with injury]
# 19 August 2007: REIBER, Terrence: Yonge St.-Sheppard Ave. area Real Estate lawyer, Toronto, Ontario [Letter bomb]
# 22 August 2007: BECKER, JOHN: Self-Employed contractor, Guelph, Ontario [Letter bomb]

***--end UPDATE---***

Yesterday Adel Mohamed Arnaout was arrested and charged with three counts of attempted murder, three counts of intending to cause an explosion, one count of criminal harassment and one count of possession of explosive material. Three IED's were sent to persons in Toronto and Guelph, and three were found in the trunk of a rental car. They contained a petroleum-type explosive. (The Star)

The house where the terrorist lived is very interesting. Read this and tell me what YOU would do if this house were in your neighborhood:

Guelph "That's definitely a strange house," said Ashley Hinds, who lives nearby.

"Most of the residents have a nickname for it, `Bombay Bunker.' It wasn't because of the families, it was because of the brick extensions and the double steel doors in the front, the tiny peep windows with mesh lining.

Bunker
"Everyone thought something unusual was always happening there, because people came and went all the time. The illegal extensions were reported to authorities, but nothing was done."

Neighbour Sue Hammond said the house, with two gaping open windows and surrounded by construction debris, "was conspicuous because of the way that the front was built.

"When the doors are shut and the gates are shut, it looks like a fortress compared to the homes around it."

Karrie Peterbaugh, another neighbour, said "There were so many people in and out of that place, it was really hard to keep track. (more hat tip National Terror Alert)

Key statement in the above report, the house was reported to authorities and nothing was done. A reinforced house, double steel doors, tiny peep hole windows. And none of the authorities were concerned???

Al-Qaeda Busted in Denmark

Originally posted at Right Truth

Denmark arrests eight al-Qaeda members with explosives in their possession, -- "several of the suspects had created an unstable explosive in a densely populated housing area,..." (AFP) The terrorists had "backgrounds from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Somalia and Turkey, and six of them held Danish citizenship."

The director general of the Danish intelligence service PET, Jakob Scharf, said the arrests near Copenhagen had "prevented a terrorist attack."

"We would describe the main suspects as militant Islamists with international contacts, including leading members of Al-Qaeda," Scharf told a press conference.

Scharf would not disclose any information about the possible target of the planned attack, but said there was "no direct link" to Denmark's military involvement in Iraq or Afghanistan.

There was no connection either to the Prophet Mohammed cartoons that were printed in a Danish newspaper in September 2005 and sparked angry Muslim protests around the world, he said.

PET said the eight were "suspected of preparing a terrorist act with the use of explosives." [snip]

The eight suspects, aged 19 to 28, were of foreign backgrounds from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Somalia and Turkey, and six of them held Danish citizenship, Scharf said. [snip]

Scharf recalled that the West faced a general terrorist threat.

Were these eight terrorists Christians? Buddhist? Jewish? Mormon? Hindu? Nooooo.

From the Strata-Sphere:

al-Qaeda is going to come after the west, win or lose in Iraq. That is evidenced by the number of attacks we in the West keep foiling. [snip]

If we seriously cripple al-Qaeda in Iraq, making them a outcast from Muslim society as they are now in Iraq, their ability to hit us will be greatly reduced because they will not have a safe haven from which to plan and plot from. The last thing we need to do right now is hand over Iraq to al-Qaeda so they can leverage all their resources and people, multiplying their effectiveness to attack us. Remember, they want us to retaliate and kill them and their fellow Muslims. That is their path to heaven. We cannot deter these people - we must annihilate them.

I agree completely. Gateway Pundit has pictures. Also reporting Doctor Bulldog, Ordovicious, Thoughts of a Technocrat, Captain's Quarters, and Take Our Country Back who says:

Why isn't this in the Lame Stream Media and why do we in The New Media ALWAYS have to bring items like this into the fore to get the Lame Stream to do their jobs? Aren't they PAID professionals or what?
Islamist Website Hosted in Minnesota Calls for Suicide Operations in Denmark

On August 31, 2007, the Islamist website www.ekhlaas.cc, hosted by SiteGenie LLC in Rochester, Minnesota, posted a document calling for "martyrdom [i.e., suicide] operations" in Denmark. The author, who identified himself as a member of Al-Qaeda, urged the Muslims not to forget the incident of the Danish cartoons, and promised the people of Denmark that the "brigades of martyrdom seekers are on their way... and will soon carry out blessed operations" in their country. He called on the Muslims to register on the site as candidates for these suicide operations.

Many of these terror websites are hosted here in the United States. Internet Haganah keeps track of many of them.

King Abdullah parroting the Democrats

Cross posted from Right Truth

The Arab League Summit has some interesting comments to share. The king of Saudi Arabia, King Abdullah, condemned the presence of American forces in Iraq as an "illegitimate foreign occupation". Abdullah goes against the United States wishes on Hamas saying the withholding of aid to Palestinians should end.

King Abdullah invited President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran to Riyadh earlier this month while the Americans want him shunned. And in trying to settle the tensions in Lebanon, the Saudis seem willing to negotiate with Iran.

Last week, the Saudi king abruptly canceled his appearance at an April White House dinner planned in his honor, The Washington Post reported on Wednesday. The official reason given for the cancellation was a scheduling conflict. NYT

Never In Our Names has this:

An Egyptian Proposal for an Arab League version of NATO - Already in Progress

Same story, different vendor says Arab summit to consider plan for closer military cooperation, this proposal compliments of Egypt and backed by Saudi Arabia. (The two countries are longstanding rivals that have fought in the past. This is a big deal.) [snip]

UAE Refuses To Be Launching Pad Versus Iran

Elsewhere, the United Arab Emirates declared We're not going to be a launching pad for any attack on Iran:

NION has much more, go read it all.

The Astute Blogger clarifies the situation:

FIRST, the occupation by the USA of Iraq is legal and UN sanctioned - more than that, the USA has a legal RESPONSIBILITY to stay in Iraq because of both a UN mandate and the mandate of the duly elected constitutional government of the Republic of Iraq. The King can kiss my ass on this charge.

SECOND, the boycott of the Palestinian government is correct because Hamas refuses to accept ANY of the negotiated deals between Israel and the Arabs: not Oslo, not Wye, not the Roadmap. Recognizing the PA with Hamas in charge would be tantamount to agreeing that Israel - a full member of the UN - has no right to exist.

THIRD, if the King wants to support Iran and Ahmadinejad, then he cannot really be for an end to sectarian violence in Iraq - (WHICH REMINDS ME: Muslims in Iraq have killed MORE MUSLIMS since 2004 than Israel has killed Arabs since 1948. SO if the King REALLY wanted to protect Muslims he should be doing more to squash Sunni-Shia internecine terror than he has to date. That should be REAL EASY: TO DATE, HE AND SAUDI ARABIA HAVE DONE DIDDLY-SQUAT).

This little speech by King Abdullah fully exposes the irrational, ignorant, ant-Semitic, anti-West position of the Kingdom. THEY ARE NO MORE AN ALLY THAN PUTIN, AND SHOULD BE TREATED AS SUCH.

Yep, King Abdullah is quoting Democrats isn't he? This illegal war? Democrats turn up the heat on Bush over Iraq, urging Bush not to veto their pork barrell bill ... uh, I mean financial support for the troops bill ...

On Iran and the British troops, The New York Sun says, ... And Prepare To Use Your Guns

So if Mr. Blair wants Mr. Bush's support, he needs to take a tougher lead himself. Americans admire courage, and Mr. Blair has already proved that he is a brave man. It would help if Mr. Blair made clear that the rules of engagement will change so that British forces are no longer obliged to surrender without a fight.

When Hezbollah crossed the Lebanese border to take hostages in Israel last summer, the Israelis resisted fiercely and several of the unit soldiers were killed. Israel treated the incident as the act of war that it was, and Israeli forces received full American support to go after Hezbollah. The former U.N. ambassador, John Bolton, told a shocked BBC interviewer last week: "I'm damn proud of what we did."

If the British want their hostages to get sympathy in America, they need to start behaving less like Europeans and more like Israelis. There is no point in gunboat diplomacy if you aren't prepared to use your guns.

Blair has asked for assistance from the United Nations. Lot's of luck there, Tony.
