We Believe It Is Okay To Murder The Child If The Parent Doesn't Want It!

By Findalis
Monkey in the Middle

Is basically the statement given by Planned Parenthood's lobbyist Alisa LaPolt Snow when asked if a child is born alive during a botched abortion what should be done with it.  This goes along with the teachings of Planned Parenthood and the writings of Alberto Giubilini of Monash University in Melbourne and Francesca Minerva at the Centre for Applied Philosophy and Public Ethics at the University of Melbourn.  Professors (and I use the word loosely) Giubilni and Minerva believe that a parent has the right to murder her child until the child reaches the age of 2.  They claim the child is NOT a human and there is no soul.  Now it seems that Planned Parenthood is spouting this idea.
A representative from Planned Parenthood is raising some eyebrows for her response to questioning on Florida legislation that would require baby's born alive during a botched abortion to receive medical care.

Alisa LaPolt Snow, a lobbyist with the Florida Alliance of Planned Parenthood Affiliates, testified this week at a committee hearing on the bill, sparking expressions of disbelief when she underscored that such matters be left to the woman, her family and her physician.

"Planned Parenthood condemns any physician who does not follow the law or endangers a woman's or a child's health, but we don't believe that politicians should be the ones who decide what constitutes the best, medically appropriate treatment in any given situation," she said in a prepared statement.

One of the lawmakers asked her what Planned Parenthood's position would be if a baby is born as a result of a botched abortion.

"We believe that any decision that's made should be left up to the woman, her family and the physician," she said.

When another lawmaker asks her specifically what Planned Parenthood does when such a scenario happens at its clinics, she said simply, "I do not have that information."

Another lawmaker made the point that the baby born alive would become a patient as well, not just the mother.

"That's a very good question," Snow said. "I really don't know how to answer that."

She had said earlier that Planned Parenthood's primary objection to the legislation is that it doesn't include a "neutrality clause" that would make clear it does not change the legal status of a baby before being born alive.

Has anyone else noticed that this debate is going from aborting children before birth to now murdering children after they are born?  And at what age do we consider the child "Human"?At what age does their murder become a crime?    2? 12?  21?  50? A week ago a pair of teens shot a 13 month old little boy in the head, killing him.  Today they are charged with murder.  If Alisa LaPolt Snow and Planned Parenthood have their way, they would be given medals and a monetary reward.

I fear this is the next "right" that the Sandra Flukes and Planned Parenthood cronies will impose upon us.  And I can just hear Satan laughing his head off.

Pastor Louie Giglio Disinvited from Inauguration

“We were not aware of Pastor Giglio’s past comments at the time of his selection, and they don’t reflect our desire to celebrate the strength and diversity of our country at this inaugural. Pastor Giglio was asked to deliver the benediction in large part because of his leadership in combating human trafficking around the world. As we now work to select someone to deliver the benediction, we will ensure their beliefs reflect this administration’s vision of inclusion and acceptance for all Americans.” --Addie Whisenant of the Presidential Inaugural Committee
Pastor Louie Giglio
Pastor Louie Giglio of Atlanta's Passion City Church was initially invited to deliver the benediction at President Barack Hussein Obama's second inauguration because of his efforts to fight human trafficking.  When the Inaugural Committee discovered he preached that homosexuality is a sin according to the Bible some 15-20 years ago, he was disinvited to the event.  The Committee will be searching for some "Christian" pastor that is more in line with their humanist (worldly) agenda.

The State has just declared that Christianity, as directed by the Word of God, is no longer acceptable in the United States of America.  Christianity must conform to the directive of the State to be accepted.

Below is part of a commentary by Dr. Albert Mohler on the issue.  Pay particular attention to how Pastor Giglio deals with the issue and what he says.  (Note: AAE does not disparage Joe McCarthy and his hunt for Communists.  We probably need to reinvigorate the hunt and quick.)

We need to follow those who are true defenders of the faith and the Word of God.  We cannot afford to follow those who compromise the Word.  Why should you follow them if they just pick and choose which verses of the Bible are correct and which are not?  Heck, any of us can do that!  We need pastor-teachers who preach the Truth and stand firm in what they have said.  Compromising with the world is not an option.

One example of a poor defense of the faith would be Piers Morgan's interview with Rick Warren.  I recommend you listen to this podcast from the Christian Worldview where the host, David Wheaton, analyzes Rick Warren's responses to Morgan's questions.

The Giglio Imbroglio — The Public Inauguration of a New Moral McCarthyism

Link to full article

A new chapter in America’s moral revolution came today as Atlanta pastor Louie Giglio withdrew from giving the benediction at President Obama’s second inaugural ceremony. In a statement released to the White House and the Presidential Inaugural Committee, Giglio said that he withdrew because of the furor that emerged yesterday after a liberal watchdog group revealed that almost twenty years ago he had preached a sermon in which he had stated that homosexuality is a sin and that the “only way out of a homosexual lifestyle … is through the healing power of Jesus.”
In other words, a Christian pastor has been effectively disinvited from delivering an inaugural prayer because he believes and teaches Christian truth.
The fact that Giglio was actually disinvited was made clear in a statement from Addie Whisenant of the Presidential Inaugural Committee:
“We were not aware of Pastor Giglio’s past comments at the time of his selection, and they don’t reflect our desire to celebrate the strength and diversity of our country at this inaugural. Pastor Giglio was asked to deliver the benediction in large part because of his leadership in combating human trafficking around the world. As we now work to select someone to deliver the benediction, we will ensure their beliefs reflect this administration’s vision of inclusion and acceptance for all Americans.”
That statement is, in effect, an embarrassed apology for having invited Louie Giglio in the first place. Whisenant’s statement apologizes for the Presidential Inaugural Committee’s failure to make certain that their selection had never, at any time, for any reason, believed that homosexuality is less than a perfectly acceptable lifestyle. The committee then promised to repent and learn from their failure, committing to select a replacement who would “reflect this administration’s vision of inclusion and acceptance.”
The imbroglio over Louie Giglio is the clearest evidence of the new Moral McCarthyism of our sexually “tolerant” age. During the infamous McCarthy hearings, witnesses would be asked, “Are you now or have you ever been a member of the Communist Party?”
In the version now to be employed by the Presidential Inaugural Committee, the question will be: “Are you now or have you ever been one who believes that homosexuality (or bisexuality, or transsexualism, etc.) is anything less than morally acceptable and worthy of celebration?”
Louie Giglio, pastor of Atlanta’s Passion City Church, is also founder of the Passion movement that brings tens of thousands of Christian young people together to hear Giglio, along with speakers such as John Piper. They urge a rising generation of young Christians to make a passionate commitment to Christ. In recent years, the movement has also sought to raise awareness and activism among young Christians on the issue of sex trafficking. It was that activism that caught the attention of both President Obama and the Presidential Inaugural Committee.
Note carefully that both the White House and the committee were ready to celebrate Giglio’s activism on sex trafficking, but all that was swept away by the Moral McCarthyism on the question of homosexuality.
Two other dimensions of this story also demand attention. First, we should note that Louie Giglio has not been known lately for taking any stand on the issue of homosexuality. To the contrary, Giglio’s own statement withdrawing from the invitation made this clear:
“Due to a message of mine that has surfaced from 15-20 years ago, it is likely that my participation, and the prayer I would offer, will be dwarfed by those seeking to make their agenda the focal point of the inauguration. Clearly, speaking on this issue has not been in the range of my priorities in the past fifteen years. Instead, my aim has been to call people to ultimate significance as we make much of Jesus Christ.”
A fair-minded reading of that statement indicates that Pastor Giglio has strategically avoided any confrontation with the issue of homosexuality for at least fifteen years. The issue “has not been in the range of my priorities,” he said. Given the Bible’s insistance that sexual morality is inseparable from our “ultimate significance as we make much of Jesus Christ,” this must have been a difficult strategy. It is also a strategy that is very attractive to those who want to avoid being castigated as intolerant or homophobic. As this controversy makes abundantly clear, it is a failed strategy. Louie Giglio was cast out of the circle of the acceptable simply because a liberal watchdog group found one sermon he preached almost twenty years ago. If a preacher has ever taken a stand on biblical conviction, he risks being exposed decades after the fact. Anyone who teaches at any time, to any degree, that homosexual behavior is a sin is now to be cast out.
Second, we should note that Pastor Giglio’s sermon was, as we would expect and hope, filled with grace and the promise of the Gospel. Giglio did not just state that homosexuals are sinners — he made clear that every single human being is a sinner, in need of the redemption that is found only in Jesus Christ. “We’ve got to say to the homosexuals, the same thing that I say to you and that you would say to me … It’s not easy to change, but it’s possible to change,” he preached. He pointed his congregation, gay and straight, to “the healing power of Jesus.” He called his entire congregation to repent and come to Christ by faith.
That is the quintessential Christian Gospel. That is undiluted biblical truth. Those words are the consensus of the Church for over 2,000 years, and the firm belief held by the vast majority of Christians around the world today.
The Presidential Inaugural Committee and the White House have now declared historic, biblical Christianity to be out of bounds, casting it off the inaugural program as an embarrassment. By its newly articulated standard, any preacher who holds to the faith of the church for the last 2,000 years is persona non grata. By this standard, no Roman Catholic prelate or priest can participate in the ceremony. No Evangelical who holds to biblical orthodoxy is welcome. The vast majority of Christians around the world have been disinvited. Mormons, and the rabbis of Orthodox Judaism are out. Any Muslim imam who could walk freely in Cairo would be denied a place on the inaugural program. Billy Graham, who participated in at least ten presidential inaugurations is welcome no more. Rick Warren, who incited a similar controversy when he prayed at President Obama’s first inauguration, is way out of bounds. In the span of just four years, the rules are fully changed....

Dinesh D'Souza on the "Morality" of Government Coercion

In the following meeting of the Oregon State University Socratic Club, Dinesh D'Souza discusses how the element of governmental compulsion strips the virtue out of transactions (in response to a question about universal health care).  He then goes on to describe the current moral inversion in our society of painting the "wagon pullers," or the makers, as selfish and greedy, and those "sitting in the wagon," or the takers, as being wonderful and morally superior to the "wagon pullers."

Movie: 300 Million Slaves

From the website: "We are called to something great. If we are to save our culture and make sure future generations have a better world to live in than what we have now, WE NEED TO MAKE OUR VOICES HEARD. We need to vote our values. We need to hold our politicians accountable for their actions. If we do not, we may not have a country left for future generations. Now is the time to act! Now is the time to equip ourselves! Become empowered to take action and engage the community around you and CHANGE OUR CULTURE, PRESERVE THE FREEDOMS WE STILL HAVE LEFT, AND REGAIN OUR LOST FREEDOMS!"

I Know it’s Illegal But . . .

Random thoughts about illegal immigration, relative morality, and the liberal mind . . .

For many in our world there is no such thing as absolute morality. There’s no such thing as a black and white, open and shut case. For these folks, all thoughts, issues, choices, and actions must be examined through various shades of innumerable murky grey complexities. Relative morality is a hyper-sensitive preference towards the individual or to the particular situation rather than to the general rule. Thus every little exception disproves the validity of any rule.

The following are some typical Liberal comments followed by my Conservative response:

Lib:“Only the Sith deal with absolutes.” - Obi-Wan Kenobi, in the last part of the Revege of the Sith (From Star Wars - the holy video)

Con: According to liberal thought, today’s warrior priests (Sith Lords) who are devoted to the "dark side" of of the force are usually referred to as “Wing-nuts.”

Lib: “ . . .So perhaps it is possible to hold to absolutes and yet respond according to the differences that each situation brings.”

Con: This stance often results in confusion between the absolute mandates of the rule of law with the relative humanistic or “pastoral” concern for the individual illegal immigrant.

Lib: “Morality is a selective preference created dynamically by culture. So no, there is no absolute morality.”

Con: And we now have discovered what happens when multiculturalism bumps into existing U.S. Laws (Suggestions).

Lib: “Evil does not really exist, it is merely an absence of good in the way that black is actually an absence of color.”

Con: Isn’t it interesting that those who deny the existence of evil in this world, and who deny absolute morality, are usually the first to play the victim and to point fingers???

Typical liberal nonsense (race-carding)

Lib: “While they may break laws in so doing - which is wrong, and needs to be examined more - they are not bad people, and I think suggesting they are truly is tinged with racism, which is something I don't say lightly.”

Con: Do you know of any anti-illegal immigration activists who have actually suggested that illegal aliens are bad people???

I loved this comment found on the internet:

Lib: “I had written a nice long post about absolute and relative morality and the problems with both and why I reject the notion of ‘morality’ blah blah blah. Then my computer crashed and twenty minutes’ work vanished. . .”

Con: Now was that a relatively bad thing, a random event, or a blessed act of Divine providence??? You be the judge! :-)

Question: How many illegals are using the stolen Social Security numbers and other identity documents of millions of American citizens, including tens of thousands of American children?

Answer: Nobody actually knows because nobody wants to talk about it so nobody is counting.

Just some Illegal News . . .

Watch the Video “Matricula Card Not Accepted in Mexican Banks

Earlier this week Republican Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn introduced legislation (H.R. 1314) aimed at preventing U.S. financial institutions from handing out credit cards to illegal aliens.

H/T to Calif. GOP Rep. Brian Bilbray

How to Close an Immigration Loophole
Yesterday, I signed on to co-sponsor H.R. 1314, the Photo Identification Security Act, authored by Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.). This legislation would stipulate the specific forms of identification needed to attain a credit card or bank account. Some financial institutions have been issuing credit cards and open accounts for people who don’t have Social Security numbers — most of whom are thought to be illegal immigrants. The federal government cannot claim to be serious about addressing illegal immigration while at the same time; allowing loopholes to exist that encourage illegal immigration activity. Financial institutions have been taking advantage of a loophole in federal law that has allowed them to profiteer off of illegal immigration.

The Photo Identification Security Act will close that loophole so that the integrity of our banking process will remain in tact. Those forms of documentation listed in the bill are a Social Security card with a government-issued form of identification such as a state driver’s license, or a U.S. or foreign passport, or a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services photo identification card. Matricula Consular cards, a form of identification issued by the Mexican government, would not be accepted for starting accounts or credit cards, since the Marticula Consular cards are not a secure form of identification.
