Well, the dems are at it again. You simply have to give them an “A” for effort.

I recall a TV game show where the booth announcer would enthusiastically shout: “Come on DOWN” to those chosen as contestants on the show. The chosen contestants would rush to the stage expecting instant riches to await them there.

It seems to me there is something similar going on at the southern border of the US. I visualize democrats standing along the border gesturing to the would be illegal immigrants on the Mexican side to: “Come on OVER!” And, boy, they are coming – in DROVES. The illegals climb the fence, go under the fence in tunnels, around the fence, and, quite often, through the fence, all the while, expecting great riches awaiting them on the American side including free healthcare, free education, welfare payment checks each month and a guarantee of citizenship -- if their numbers become great enough to swing the elections in the democrats favor -- all of this as a result of breaking the US laws and becoming criminals.

Do not be fooled by all the denials from the democrats. Amnesty for illegal aliens is all about power for the liberal-socialist democrats in the US government. They, rightfully, see the gigantic influx of illegal aliens as a power source that will, if they can pull it off, guarantee victory at the polls, election cycle after election cycle, effective smothering their opposition and, eventually, securing them an uncontested lock on the US government forever.

So, if you liked the way the democrats have ruled under the democrat liberal-socialist control of the Congress and the socialist Obama Regime, then you are going to absolutely LOVE the socialist state the Hispanic vote will allow them to force on the American people. Very soon America will resemble nothing more than a banana republic with a socialist dictator in the mold of Hugo Chavez of Venezuela – or -- the Castro brothers of Cuba.

I hope that is a sobering thought for Americans. Here is another one. We are losing our country and the passage of The Dream Act will be the last nail in the coffin of a constitutional republic in the United States.

I have lost count of the many times the democrats have endeavored to pass bills for amnesty for illegal aliens in the past few years. It seems that every session of Congress they try again and again to ram it through. They change the name, add a few more freebies, and twist arms of reluctant senators and congresspersons and generally increase the pressure on those hapless lawmakers to a near unbearable level. Still, somehow, we have managed to hold them off… until the next time.

Now the Obama Regime is claiming immigration reform is an emergency and the Congress must act to pass The Dream Act during the ongoing lame duck session of Congress which has a little less than 18 days to finish their work before it disbands and heads home until the first of January.
Many of the current supporters of Immigration Reform (another title for Amnesty for illegal aliens) will not return in January having been unceremoniously thrown out of office by voters angry at their efforts to “fundamentally change America” into their version of a socialist utopia.

Amnesty for illegal aliens is not the least of the actions of the defeated democrats to anger Americans who DO understand we are losing our constitutional representative government and being yoked with oppression from a socialist elite who are working maniacally to turn off the lights of that fabled “Shining City on a Hill" and replace the hill, upon which it sat, with a dung heap.

The Dream Act must be stopped in its tracks -- and it must be stopped NOW! It will be nothing short of a disaster for America if it passes.

I simply do not think something this important to the very existence of America should be brought to the floor of the Congress during a lame duck session. As we said above, many of the democrats who will be supporting the bill have already been relieved of their office come the first of January. They have nothing to lose and they certainly do not have to fear a backlash from their constituents back home. Some might even feel a little revenge is in order for their having been dumped by their constituents in the Mid-Term Election back in November.

I repeat: The Dream Act, though artfully camouflaged, is nothing more than amnesty for illegal aliens and should NEVER come up for a vote in the Congress.

We all would do well to write, phone, e-mail, fax, send a telegram, or in some way not included here, contact our Senators and Congresspersons and tell them to vote NO on AMNESTY for ILLEGAL Aliens, otherwise known: “The Dream Act. We need to do it right NOW!

In their continued crusade to cover the Obama Regime’s rear-end, the mainstream media is proclaiming the Mid-Term Election (in November) to be all about the US economy. They made their pronouncement, of course, after it became clear the democrats will LOSE BIG in November and could, in fact, lose control of BOTH houses of Congress.

Here’s the truth: This election IS about the economy – IN PART. But even more important, it is about the President’s attempt to “fundamentally transform” America from a constitutional republic to a socialist banana republic sewer. This is the concern upon which all the other troubling worries about the state of our government are founded.

Yes, the Mid-Term election will be a referendum on our radical socialist President, Mr. Obama. It will be about his bringing socialized medicine to America. It will be about American’s belief that he has abused his executive office with excessive use of the executive orders, which by-passed Congress, which is the legislative branch of the government.

The Mid-Term election (in November) will be about the question of whether or not Obama is legally qualified to even be President of the United States. Those sincere concerns are STILL swirling about the country with Americans openly wondering why he doesn’t put them to rest by simply verifying, with his original birth certificate, that he really is a natural born American and not, as some suggest, a Kenyan.

And there is more.

The most important election in the history of the United States, the Mid-Term election in November, is about the Obama Regime surrendering to international terrorism in the War on Terror. That includes his bowing to foreign leaders of other lands. That act demeaned the American citizen as no other has ever done. It has not been forgotten or forgiven.

It is also about his open denial of “American Exceptionalism.” American’s believe their country is a nation with a mission and that mission is to be the example, the “shining city on hill” that all the nations of the earth can look to for guidance, assistance, and succor. America is NOT “just another country.”

November’s election is about Obama and the democrats raping and pillaging the US Treasury and spending our children, our grandchildren, and THEIR children, so far into debt that generations will pass before Americans will ever be anywhere near debt-free again.

The all-important Mid-Term election is about Americans taking back their government -- and their country -- from a socialist regime with strong Marxist tendencies. It is about taking America back to its basic fundamentals of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It is about rejecting the slavery of Socialism, Progressivism, Marxism, Communism, and left-wing Liberalism.

In a little over eight weeks, Americans will go to the polls in this extremely important election about the profound differences between the philosophy of the Democrats and the philosophy of the Republicans. No Democratic Presidential Administration and Democratic controlled Congress has ever made those differences so clear and concise as the Obama Regime and the current Democratic controlled Congress. The GOP is for freedom and the democrats are for slavery under a socialist government. That fact is now blindingly clear.

This election is, plainly and simply, about whether America remains free. It is about the restoration of limited government, a responsive government, and a responsible government.

The Mid-Term election is about sending a crystal clear message to the US government that they govern ONLY with the “consent of the governed!”

Yes, the election is about the economy, but it is about so much more, so very much more.

This November, Americans intend to notify their government, through the ballot box, of their determination as Americans to LIVE FREE … period!

America did not win the war in Iraq. That’s a fact. America did not win the first Iraq war. That, too, is a fact. Iraq is set up, as we write these few comments, for its next dictator -- with at least a couple of Iraqis preening themselves in the shadows just waiting for the moment, which will not be long in coming.

Look, the plain truth is – you cannot win a war while attempting to win the hearts and minds of those you are warring against! Until America understands this we will NEVER win another war!

To be successful in war you have to beat the snot out of your opponent through attrition and any other means at your disposal until he either has no troops left to put into the field against your forces, or he is so beaten that he loses the will to fight. The victor must make the price of going to war against him so costly any would-be enemy will think long and hard before firing that first shot. America doesn’t do that anymore. It is common knowledge that if you desire the rebuilding of your country -- simply attack America!

Another important aspect of wining a war is to never take the civilian population off the list of targets. That may shock you. It should. But war is hell. People die – innocent people die, too. I repeat: war is hell!

It is nice to make an effort to avoid civilian causalities, but one must understand that it will prolong the war and make it imminently more costly in lives and treasure to win a conflict. A civilian population that is being decimated will put pressure on its government to end the war, even if that means surrender on any terms.

We did nearly everything wrong in Iraq. Rest assured, we will be forced to return combat troops to Iraq in the future. No matter what our national leaders try to tell us – the war in Iraq is not over, not nearly over. If this withdrawal is anything it is a time-out, a breather for our troops, nothing more. I hope the military brass has the good sense to leave a goodly portion of those troops in Kuwait, because they will be needed again -- and soon.

We are making even worse mistakes in Afghanistan. We cannot win a war in Afghanistan without the use of nuclear weapons. I mean, of course, a decisive victory. The best we can hope for is some sort of agreement with the Afghans/Taliban. I expect that very thing is being worked on at this writing.

Just LOOK at Afghanistan. To begin with, the Afghans have very little to lose, period. The terrain in Afghanistan is unsuitable for a conventional war. We have had very limited success smashing those solid rock caves with even those powerful bunker buster bombs and missiles. Those Afghan mountain redoubts can be taken out using tactical nukes. If the US were set on victory in Afghanistan, we’d use those nukes. We would also wipe out their poppy fields and decimate the Taliban population, both the civilian and warrior class Taliban. We would take their lives, wholesale.

Unfortunately, our President sees himself as a citizen of the world FIRST and a citizen of the United States second. It is the first time in history that the President of the United States views himself as being a citizen of the country with which the military he commands is at war!
That can’t be good for any kind of REAL victory in Afghanistan. All this President wants out of Afghanistan -- is the troops he commands. And – as soon as he can come to some sort of arrangement with the Taliban, He will pull the US Military out of Afghanistan, too.

You know, I doubt President Obama ever played organized football or baseball. He probably played that game the liberals love so much – soccer. I still contend that soccer is no game for Americans. American games don’t end in “ties.” That’s because Americans play to win.

Just like American football players and baseball players and basketball players are trained to win, the American military is trained to win… not tie with the enemy.

I don’t think Obama has any clue how humiliating it is to our troops to have them fight a war with one hand tied behind their backs and then, after spilling their blood at his command, order them to withdraw short off a victory. Oh, they will salute and comply with his commands, but he will have lost their respect and their trust for the remainder of his term as their Commander-in-Chief. (No wonder the democrats fear the military vote this November!)

America’s days in Afghanistan are numbered. Everybody knows it: Obama, the Taliban, the US troops in Afghanistan, and the American people. We all know it because we know this President has no taste for real conflict of any kind -- political or military. Just look at all the “czars” he appointed so as to avoid conflict with the Senate. Look at his recess appointments made, we believe, for the same reason. If he can give a command and have his wishes fulfilled -- fine. But – if he has to fight for it – forget about it. That is what we see in Iraq and what we will see soon in Afghanistan.

It is disgusting to see the one government organization, which really understands what honor is, the US Military, have their own honor tarnished by a Commander-in-Chief not worthy of the troops he commands.

In a few days it is quite possible that Iran will load its nuclear plant(s) with nuclear fuel supplied by Russia. If that happens, as we expect, there’s nothing to worry about – really. Nothing much changes – except – the world.

The Muslim embracing President of the United States deliberately allowed Iran to go nuclear. I wish I was wrong about this, but I hold that I am right.

As I see it, Obama doesn’t give a fig if the nation of Israel is wiped off the face of the earth so long as it is the “Islam Bomb” that smashes the land held holy by Jews and Christians alike.

Obama’s affinity for Islam is not endearing him to the American electorate. His poll numbers are plunging and many commentators who originally thought we would have to gear up to defeat Obama in 2012 have now reconsidered. Honestly, I am beginning to consider the possibility that Obama will not even complete his first term. There is a glimmer of hope that his own party, the Democratic Party, will be so decimated by their political massacre in the Mid-Term Election, in just a few weeks, that they will pressure him to resign, move Biden into the Oval Office, and appoint Hillary Clinton as Vice-President, providing here with the perfect platform from which to launch her bid for the Presidency in 2012.

For those of you who wish to disagree with me, I warn you, I won’t argue my point, because I realize how far-fetched this scenario is. However, this is the Democratic Party we are speaking of -- and that means “expediency” rules.

Look, when most Americans cannot tell you which faith President Obama subscribes to – that is not good. Obama’s proclivity for all things Islamic has certainly fueled the suspicion of many, including a number of conservative commentators, with whom I am acquainted, to conclude that he, Obama, is a “closest Muslim.”

Prior to his becoming President, Obama had been a member of a church where Black Liberation Theology was taught and preached. Black Liberation Theology has little in common with Christianity.

Since Obama has been in the Oval Office, he has yet to choose a church to attend as presidents traditionally do. Note also that he has refused to take part in any number of Christian events such as the annual Prayer Breakfast, and most recently the Boy Scouts National Jamboree in the Washington, DC. These are events at which the President of the United States, traditionally, puts in an appearance and makes a few remarks. Not Obama.

On the other hand, Obama appeared to go out of his way to demonstrate his affection for Muslims, Muslim countries, and Islamic events and institutions including Mosques planned for hallowed ground in America, namely -- the Ground Zero Mosque in New York City. Remember, too, His very first television interview, after becoming President, was with an Islamic TV station -- Al Jazeera. You will forgive me, if I feel that I have reason enough, ample reason, more than ample reason, to join others who now believe that Obama is, indeed, a closet Muslim.

And now Iran. Iran’s acquisition of the Atomic Bomb could have been stopped – had Obama wanted it stopped. It is apparent -- he did not.

I am convinced Israel would have already taken out Iran’s nuclear facilities had Obama done nothing more that get out of the way.

Unless Israel acts within an extremely short time, Iran will acquire the atomic bomb. Then, much of that hemisphere will come under the atomic gun of Iran and be subject to nuclear blackmail at Iran’s whim.

The really sad thing is all of this could have been avoided had Obama simply supported Israel, the only reliable friend America has in the Middle East.

"This naivety and ignorance on the part of the Left is like Christmas in July for Muslim leaders. The Islamists and Jihadists are laughing in their sleeves at such stupidity, but they will soon laugh aloud if Muslims become the majority in these countries. Ironically, the Jihadists first victims will be the leftists, the socialists and the godless," warned Michael Youssef, founder of Evangelical Anglican Church of the Apostles and Leading the Way ministry. He goes on to say that the Ground Zero Mosque is part of Islam's overall goal to dominate the world. (SOURCE)

In an article at “The Christian Post” Mr. Youssef is quoted as saying: "Most Westerners do not understand that Islam is not a religion in their true understanding of what the word means," he argued Tuesday. "Islam is a political and social ideology that will never submit to a secular form of government. Islamists will wait until such time as they are able to transform societies into Sharia-dominated ones, giving citizens a Taliban-type government." Mr. Youssef continued: "Islamic and Arabic media outlets are triumphantly, if not blatantly, saying that Islam is a superior religion, therefore it can build a mosque anywhere in the world, and the infidels need to shut up and accept it… "

Youssef has lived in Egypt and Lebanon. According to the article in The Christian Post he warns the public to be wary of the language that Muslim leaders behind the Ground Zero Mosque are using, such as "tolerance" and "freedom of religion," to gain approval. (The entire article can be read HERE.)

In the same article, the Rev. Peg Chemberlin, president of the National Council of Churches is quoted thusly. "This center will reflect not only the best of Islam, but the enduring hope that Christians, Jews and Muslims can together find common ground in addressing the most urgent challenges of our time." (In the spirit of full disclosure allow me to say that one of the reasons -- among many -- that I left my church was their support of the National Council of Churches.)

I agree with Mr. Youssef on this. The left is being used by the Muslims behind the Ground Zero Mosque to get what they want -- and that is nothing more than a celebratory edifice of triumphalism near a spot where Muslims murdered nearly 3,000 Americans -- men, women and children.

American religious leftists are throwing their support to the GZM. It is not at all unexpected. As a part of the “Blame America First” crowd, they never miss a chance to do just that. Their own naiveté does more damage to America than many of America’s more overt enemies. They bring shame of “The Faith of our Fathers” and America’s religious community still striving to live up to, and into, the Judeo-Christian faith upon which this nation was founded.

Even the President of the United States, who has been slowly shedding his façade as a Christian and allowing his Muslim roots to show, had to take a step back from his public support for placing a Mosque so close to that hallowed ground.

Americans know a desecration when they see one and most of us recognize an abomination as well. Placing a mosque anywhere near that spot is BOTH!

The truth is – this is one of those times when our constitutional right to freedom of religion is coming back to bite us. The practice of Islam in America, in my opinion, is such a threat to the survival of this country as a free constitutional republic that it ought not be allowed. But – the constitution, as written, says we must. And it will remain that way until Americans become angry enough to change it.

The attack on America continues from without and from within. She has entered her own dark ages now and whether she will survive is anyone’s guess.

If you want to see what America will look like in another hundred years just drive across our southern border into Mexico. Add only a Taliban-like government and you will have America one hundred years into the future.

Thank God, I won’t be here to see it!

Is Obama a fascist?

Ok -- so what is a fascist? According to The Urban Dictionary a fascist is "someone who believes in a totalitarian state rule by a supreme leader (dictator) who controls everything possible and treats people harshly -- to gain the leader's own success...." (SOURCE)

Sound familiar? In a piece by John Griffing, published at American Thinker, Mr. Griffing says the following: "At its core, fascism is really just a system where government, through agreements with the private sector, controls virtually all property and income indirectly and Obama has embraced this template."

Mr. Griffing goes on to say: "Fascism is correctly associated with tyranny since nations that employ the tenets of fascism almost always transition from a republican or parliamentary form of government to some sort of personality cult usually centered on an economic "savior." Fascism requires extensive state control, and if this control is not centralized in a singular personality, the results will be muddied and plagued with excessive overlap. It is gratifying, to say the least, to find someone who agrees with our viewpoint of Obama and his regime. It is truly frightening to see America being fundamentally changed from a constitutional republic into a fascist dictatorship under Obama. But, that is what we have in America today.

What? You say it can't happen in America? Well, I hate to disagree with your assessment, but dear reader, it already has happened. The task of freedom loving Americans now -- IS TO CHANGE IT BACK! That goal is becoming ever more difficult, with every passing day, as the line between the private sector and the public sector is being systematically and intentionally blurred by the Obama Regime. You may not wish to admit it, even to yourself, but, as Mr. Griffing says in his article at American Thinker, "individual liberty can often be conditioned on complicity with state aims, as manifested in the private sector sphere." He is spot on!

Look, we Americans are being "conditioned" by the Obama Regime to jump through any hoop Obama should hold up in front of us.

Many weeks ago we warned of an avalanche of taxes on the horizon for America. That avalanche is about to come rumbling down to crush the last remnant of resistance to the Obama fascist agenda.

Obama and the democrats have bankrupted America. We are broke. There is no more money available within the government budget to stave of the insolvency of America.

So what must happen? Huge tax increases. As Charles Krauthammer has warned us: "There just isn't enough to cut elsewhere to prevent national insolvency. That will require massive tax increases, most likely a European-style value-added tax." Read the entire article here (SOURCE)
Americans who have already been mentally "conditioned" will simply lie down and allow the Obama taxes, such as the VAT tax, to wash over them. Those of us who are not "conditioned" will fight it every step of the way. Even the Vat tax is the tip of the iceberg, so to speak. It cannot cover the shortfall of funds America faces in the future.

Only a strong fascist leader could "condition" Americans to accept what is coming next -- the looting of the individual American.

In an article at the American thinker written by Kyle Anne Shiver and entitled: "Barack Obama, the Quintessential liberal fascist" Shiver says: "Neither did Barack Obama invent the political "ideology of change," nor design its carefully crafted propaganda. While media folks talked of the tingles up their legs and the brilliant rhetoric of Barack Obama, they were heralding the speaker only, not the creator of the movement and its slogans. That would have been Saul Alinsky, the man who took fascism and cunningly made it appear to casual observers every bit as American as apple pie.

As much as I dislike admitting it, we HAVE become conditioned “not to see the forest for the trees.” We inhabit Obama’s fascist America, yet we don’t seem able to see it for what it is. Today we Americans seem to lack what the military refers to as “situational awareness.” Just as on the battlefield where lack of situational awareness can easily lead to the demise of the individual, it can also lead the people of a country into placidly standing by as their nation is hi-jacked and “fundamentally changed,” from a nation where the government serves the people -- to a nation where the people serve the government.

That has already happened. The question now is -- can we change it back to its rightful condition. We have a chance this November to begin that renewal. Lets not allow the chance to save America pass us by. It MAY be our last chance.

What we saw occur in Arizona this week, with a federal district judge gutting a law passed by the Arizona state legislature and signed into law by the governor of that state is nothing less than spitting in the face of “states rights!”

We Americans have already fought one civil war over this very thing -- and the federal government is dragging us ever closer to another American holocaust.

Think about it: The US federal government refuses to enforce the laws of the land and then has the audacity to slap down the people of the states when they attempt to enforce those same laws.
All this time I have been laboring under a misconception. See, I was taught, and I was reared to believe, that the US was a nation of laws and that no person or entity was above the law. Well, it turns out I was WRONG! But I had to wait until the socialist Obama and his henchman hi-jacked the US government to learn that I had been wrong all this time.

I have learned something from all of this. It is that the law does not matter – unless -- it can be used (by those in power) to get something they want. If applying the law will constrain them from something they dearly want, then -- to hell with the law.

At the moment, Obama wants the Hispanic vote in 2012. He will move heaven and earth, tread on anyone who gets in his way, use the mailed fist of the federal government to crush whoever and whatever gets in his way -- the same as any other tin pot dictator in the western hemisphere. America is looking more and more, everyday, like one of the “banana republics” we used to make jokes about. Now that we are one – it ain’t funny!

In the years before the American civil war, when Washington was tyrannizing the southern states on a regular basis (much as they are doing to the entire country today) the southern states began nullifying those federal laws. Why did they think they could do that? Well one of the Founding Fathers, Thomas Jefferson, said in the Kentucky Resolution the following:

“Resolved, that the several States composing the United States of America, are not united on the principle of unlimited submission to their general government; but that by compact under the style and title of a Constitution for the United States and of amendments thereto, they constituted a general government for special purposes, delegated to that government certain definite powers, reserving each State to itself, the residuary mass of right to their own self-government; and that whensoever the general government assumes undelegated powers, its acts are unauthoritative, void, and of no force: That to this compact each State acceded as a State, and is an integral party, its co-States forming, as to itself, the other party….each party has an equal right to judge for itself, as well of infractions as of the mode and measure of redress.” Alien and Sedition Acts and States’ rights (Texas Fred has an excellent article from which this was drawn at: http://texasfred.net/archives/7233)


I say again, the underlying cause of the American civil war was not slavery, as we have been taught, it was the abuse of the rights of the states by the heavy-handed federal government – just as the federal government is doing today!

They say history repeats itself – and today we have the evidence right before our eyes.

How much more of Obama’s high-handed tyrannical tactics are the American people going to suffer before they bow their backs and say: ENOUGH!

One good thing may come from this demonstration of what happens when a country’s all too powerful central government runs amuck. If nothing else, this move by the judge in Arizona should seal the election in November for the Republicans.

Now that Americans have seen that the Obama Regime is intent on securing its hold on the government, not only in Washington, but in their states, as well, it should cut through the smoke screen of flowery oratory, and expose the skull and crossbones hidden within.

Remember this: if your state has no rights, YOU, my fellow Americans, have no rights, either!

Remember Arizona in November. Let nothing deter you. RUN to the polls in November -- and reclaim America. Do not allow the history books to record that Americans lost their country to a great orator much as the Germans of the 20th century did. As they learned, too late, it was the road to utter destruction.

Some weeks ago we warned there was an avalanche of taxes headed our way. Now come a breakdown of what American families will be facing on January 1st, of 2011 courtesy of Americans for Tax Reform at http://www.atr.org//.

The article is tiled: “Six Months to Go Until The Largest Tax Hikes in History.” You will find it (HERE.).

The article by Ryan Ellis explains that the massive tax increase will strike more as a tsunami – in waves. Mr. Ellis says: “In just six months, the largest tax hikes in the history of America will take effect. They will hit families and small businesses in three great waves on January 1, 2011.”The first great wave will be: Expiration of 2001 and 2003 Tax Relief. The second great wave will be: Obamacare, and the third great wave will be: The Alternative Minimum Tax and Employer Tax Hikes.

Mr. Ellis goes on to say, in his excellent article, the following: “In 2001 and 2003, the GOP Congress enacted several tax cuts for investors, small business owners, and families. These will all expire on January 1, 2011.

So what will happen? Mr. Ellis explains: “Personal income tax rates will rise. The top income tax rate will rise from 35 to 39.6 percent (this is also the rate at which two-thirds of small business profits are taxed). The lowest rate will rise from 10 to 15 percent. All the rates in between will also rise. Itemized deductions and personal exemptions will again phase out, which has the same mathematical effect as higher marginal tax rates. The full list of marginal rate hikes is below:- The 10% bracket rises to an expanded 15%- The 25% bracket rises to 28%- The 28% bracket rises to 31%- The 33% bracket rises to 36%- The 35% bracket rises to 39.6%

According to Mr. Ellis article married Americans and American families will not escape, either. He explains there will be higher taxes on marriage and American families. He states: “The “marriage penalty” (narrower tax brackets for married couples) will return from the first dollar of income. The child tax credit will be cut in half from $1000 to $500 per child. The standard deduction will no longer be doubled for married couples relative to the single level. The dependent care and adoption tax credits will be cut.”

And guess what – the DEATH TAX will return! Mr. Ellis explains; “This year, there is no death tax. For those dying on or after January 1, 2011, there is a 55 percent top death tax rate on estates over $1 million. A person leaving behind two homes and a retirement account could easily pass along a death tax bill to their loved ones.

If you have made an effort to be frugal and save, you are in trouble from the tax man, as well: Ellis says there will be: “Higher tax rates on savers and investors. The capital gains tax will rise from 15 percent this year to 20 percent in 2011. The dividends tax will rise from 15 percent this year to 39.6 percent in 2011. These rates will rise another 3.8 percent in 2013.

Then comes the second wave. It will come as no surprise to those of us who tried to warn our fellow Americans that socialized medicine in America would cost the living daylights out of Americans. So here it comes. We now know, thanks to Mr. Ellis’ article there are over twenty new or higher taxes in Obamacare.

Several of these taxes will first go into effect on January 1, 2011. They include: “The “Medicine Cabinet Tax,” “The “Special Needs Kids Tax,” and “The HSA Withdrawal Tax Hike.”

Then comes the Third wave of taxes: “The Alternative Minimum Tax and Employer Tax Hikes.” Mr. Ellis explains: “When Americans prepare to file their tax returns in January of 2011, they’ll be in for a nasty surprise—the AMT won’t be held harmless, and many tax relief provisions will have expired. The major items include:”

The AMT will ensnare over 28 million families, up from 4 million last year.

Small business expensing will be slashed and 50% expensing will disappear.

Taxes will be raised on all types of businesses.

Tax Benefits for Education and Teaching Reduced.

Charitable Contributions from IRAs no longer allowed.

This ought to frighten every American to his/her core. Below is an excerpt from a letter sent to the President from a few republican members of the US Senate recently:

“Several Senators have learned of a possible plan by the Obama Administration that would provide a mass Amnesty for the nation's 11-18 million illegal aliens. Led by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), eight Senators addressed a letter to the President asking for answers to questions about a plan that would allow DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano to provide an amnesty if they can't secure enough votes for a bill in the Senate.

The letter that was sent to Pres. Obama earlier today asks the President for clarification on the use of deferred action or parole for illegal aliens. The executive actions are typically used in special cases and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, but if 60 votes can't be secured in the Senate to pass a mass Amnesty, the Administration may use the discretionary actions as an alternative.” (SOURCE)

That letter was signed by: Sens. Grassley, Hatch (R-Utah), Vitter (R-La.), Bunning (R-Ky.), Chambliss (R-Ga.), Isakson (R-Ga.), Inhofe (R-Okla.), and Cochran (R-Miss.).

Rumors are flying and tempers are flaring in Washington, DC as rumors that President Obama intends to grant amnesty to nearly 20 million illegal aliens, already residing within the United States, with the stroke of his pen. It would take the form of a Presidential Executive Order. Outrage is spreading among the legal citizens of the US with the rapidity of a prairie fire in August.

Americans are concerned that by nothing more than the stroke of a pen Obama could grant the amnesty.

It was revealed recently that Obama has no intention of securing the southern border with Mexico until his Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill is passed. You know, the “Amnesty for Illegal Aliens bill.”

This certainly not something my fellow Americans can just shrug off!

It has become clear over the first few months of the Obama Regime that the American President is a socialist with strong dictatorial leanings. His sidling up to Hugo Chavez in Venezuela is proof enough, for many of us, that he admires Mr. Chavez’ type government (Socialist/Marxist) and Obama’s actions have certainly led us to believe that he favors “dictating” over administering a constitutional “REPRESENTATIVE” republic.

This “amnesty by executive order” will prove, once and for all, the evolution of Obama into an American dictator.

We have been warning since the presidential campaign, back in 2008, that this is where Obama would eventually take the United States. His narcissistic personality shone through, even then, and frightened many conservative commentators who warned time and time again that an administration led by Obama would be dangerous to our constitutional republic.

Obama has shown time and again that he will brook no disagreement from anyone within his Regime. He rules with an iron fist.

The American people are as angry as I have ever seen them in my nearly seven decades on this planet. Their fuse is growing extremely short. If Obama signs the rumored executive order, granting amnesty to the millions of illegal aliens in the US today, I am convinced it will be the last straw, and it will push outraged Americans, who have seen their country go from a Constitutional Republic to a Banana Republic, much like those in South American countries, over the edge sparking the unthinkable.

IF Obama goes through with this Amnesty by Executive Order, it is almost certain there will be attempts in the Congress to impeach him. But with Obama’s minions in charge of the Congress there is little chance impeachment proceedings would ever see the light of day. Should this happen, it is all but certain there will be an uprising, of some sort, by the American people.

The US is a country founded through revolution. As a direct descendant of a number of Confederate soldiers, I am not unfamiliar with the dangers to the citizens when a government uses it’s mailed fist to do whatever it pleases, the law not withstanding.

Look, those of us who are sentient beings are aware that the US has reached something of a “tipping point.” We have reached that apex of stress and fear at which anything is possible. Somehow, our so-called leadership does not see it, nor feel it, insulated as they are from those they supposedly represent. THAT is what makes this point in our history such an extremely dangerous time.

Something is about to happen. You can feel it.

Americans will not abide an oppressive government one second longer than it must. We are headed toward an event, on this continent, the likes of which the world has not seen since the 1770’s.

America is divided into two camps and we are rushing toward each other like two run-away locomotives. The inevitable crash will change things, not just in America, but planet-wide.

CNSNews.com reports the following: “The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) voted on Thursday to begin the formal process of bringing the Internet under greater federal control – a move sought by both President Barack Obama and FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski--even though federal law calls for an Internet "unfettered by Federal or State regulation." The report goes on to say: “The FCC is now trying to reclassify the Internet to broaden its authority over the Web.”

How is Obama’s FCC planning to get their mailed fist around the throat of the Internet? It is very simple, really. CNSNews informs us in their report how they will do it. The report says: “The 3-2 party-line vote on Thursday at the FCC began the formal process of reclassifying the Internet as a telecommunications service instead of an information service – its current classification. This is necessary because, as an information service, the government has little power to regulate Internet networks. But the report goes on to explain: “As a telecommunications service, such as a telephone network, the Internet would fall under a much broader regulatory scope – giving the government the power to enforce universal service requirements, making them pay into a federal universal service fund used to provide communications services to poor areas.”

If there was ever a case of the “camel’s nose under the tent,” this is most assuredly IT!

Look, I worked in the broadcast industry for nearly 30 years. I can tell, from experience, that, in my day, the broadcast industry was one of the most government-regulated industries in the country, if not THE most regulated.

To the broadcast industry, the Federal Communications industry is G O D! They say: “JUMP!” and the broadcaster says: “How high?” And he does it while jumping!

So, bloggers enjoy your freedom of speech for a few more months. Experience tells me the end is in sight.

The old soviet KGB has nothing on the agents of the FCC. Expect them to monitor the Internet much as they did the AM and FM broadcast bands. If they hear something they don’t like, you WILL get a visit. It could be a costly visit.

We are convinced that Obama’s FCC is a political machine, a club to be wielded against those who speak out against the Socialists, Marxists, Statists, Progressives, Liberals, and/or Democrats controlling the US government today. Unless the Supreme Court stops them they WILL swing that club and conservative sites, conservative bloggers, especially, will be the very first targets.

See, the Obama Regime must gain control of the communications networks in America. The broadcast networks apparently have voluntarily made a gift of their fealty to the socialist agenda of this regime, as have many in the major print media – that which we often refer to as the Mainstream Media.

As we have so often reminded our readers, Obama promised to “fundamentally change” America. He cannot do that as long as the Internet hosts conservative bloggers who insist on pointing out the socialist agenda of the Obama regime. I am convinced this administration would nationalize the broadcast and print media -- and the Internet -- if they thought they could get away with it. Believe me – if we give them that time, they WILL do it!

Think I am paranoid? Let me assure you, there may be times I would agree with that assessment of my scribbling – but NOT THIS TIME! I KNOW what the FCC can do when they decide to bring the hammer down.

CNSNEWS informs us: “The FCC will now begin the mandatory public comment period, where it will solicit input from private companies and citizens about whether it should reclassify the Internet and, if so, how it should do it.”

If you value a free and open Internet then let your voice be heard. Write the FCC and tell them so -- and demand they back off and leave the Internet alone. Write your Congresspersons and Senators and explain your feelings on this matter to them and ask for their support of a free and open Internet.

I have warned for months, yea, years, that this was coming. I have seen no sense of alarm among fellow bloggers. Maybe it was/is there and I have somehow missed it. I sincerely hope that is the case. I fear it is not.

Believe me, t will take a MASSIVE effort to stop this particular power grab by the Obama Regime. Frankly, I don’t expect those of us who value a free and open Internet to be victorious.
But we have to try!

My close friends refer to me as the original Man of La Mancha. I have a penchant for joisting with windmills. I have been “un-horsed” and knocked on my behind so many times I cannot count them. I have learned a valuable lesson from those painful encounters. That is -- you cannot hope to win, if you don’t attack, and continue to take the battle to the enemy, time and time again for as long as you have the strength to press the attack.

There is the famous story, among we descendants of Confederate soldiers, of the Confederate general who sent a dispatch to General Lee in which he declared that he was totally surrounded by the enemy, cut off from any reinforcements, his troops were decimated, out of ammunition, and their rations were gone. The brave general declared that his situation was hopeless. Therefore, he informed General Lee, he would attack at dawn!

THAT is the attitude we must have as we gear up to fight this attack on the First Amendment of the Constitution.

We must take a stand for freedom and we must do it NOW!

I WISH I had said it, but I did not. I mean the catchy phrase in the title of this piece. I heard a comedian use it recently and I thought then that it captures the condition America finds itself in today will illegal aliens from Mexico flooding into our country from across an unsecured, wide-open border between Mexico and the US.

Honestly, I don’t think the US government actually knows how many illegals we have living in the US. They keep tossing out the number of 12 million, or so. Well, that was the number used many years ago. Common sense dictates that there is many more than 12 million illegal aliens in the US today – if -- that number was correct when it was first used years ago.

Now The Obama Regime wants Congress to pass Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill. Yep! It’s the same song, third verse. When one translates the title of the bill into non-politically correct English one finds that it means AMNESTY!

Look, all Obama’s Comprehensive Immigration Reform will do is guarantee even more illegal aliens will come running across that border headed north into America. Why? Because they will have deduced that all they have to do is be INSIDE America when the NEXT AMNESTY is declared. And they are right!

America does not need a Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill. American simply needs to enforce its own immigration laws! As the state of Arizona is proving, enforcement of the law will lead to voluntary immigration southward -- back into Mexico and beyond.

The plain truth is – America’s borders will be secured the minute the US Government wants them secured and not before. That’s the problem. The government does not want the borders secured. In fact, just the opposite is true.

We have a government of Globalists, I am afraid. They are the folks who don’t believe in borders – at all. They are hard at work pushing world wide-open borders. See, they NEED open borders, or no borders at all, in order to realize their ultimate goal of global governance.

The end game is worldwide socialism. Marxists-Leninists have been preaching for years that America can be brought to heel and capitalism smothered to death through immigration. The idea is to flood capitalist/industrialized nations, such as the US, with low skilled, under educated, poverty strickened masses of immigrants, and use them as a tool to create civil unrest and eventually bring down capitalism and crush the constitutional republic of the US and replace it with socialism/communism.

Somehow, the Democratic Party in the US forged far ahead of the Globalists by installing a socialist government in America’s national legislature and in the office of the President.

Well, Americans have had a taste of socialism, thanks to the democrats, and, for the most part, they are sick of the incremental imposition of socialist slavery and want to be done with it by purging the Congress of as many Socialist/Globalists, Marxists, Maoists, Progressives, and as many pitiful guilt-ridden liberals as we possibly can in November.

Oh, and while we are at it, we need to search out those laboring, sub-rosa, for a North American Union and get rid of them as well.

A think we can all agree that the “Gulf Gusher” crisis is serious. And I AM concerned. Certainly, I am concerned over the problems presented by the oil leak in the ocean, but, frankly, I am concerned more about what may be happening in Washington while America’s attention is focused on that crisis.

It was Obama’s Chief of Staff whom famously, or I famously, said: “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.” THAT worries me because I have to wonder what the Obama Regime is using the Gulf Oil spill to camouflage.

If we know anything about this regime, it is that they will use the opportunity presented by the gushing oil to slip something through the Congress or, by executive order, slip something through one or more of the cabinet offices that they know the American people would raise holy heck about – if only they knew it was happening.

Its not that this approach to governing is new -- for it most certainly is not. Diversion is one of the oldest tools in the “politics toolbox.” However, in a representative republic it is not only distasteful, it is, well, not representative of the will of the people. It intentionally shuts the people out. It silences their voice. It brings to a screeching halt any input into the legislative process by the people. “Vox Populi” is censored – period!

I am more than a little concerned the Obama Regime will take advantage of the current crisis to make things happen in Washington that ordinarily would not happen.

As we have noted many times in the past, Obama promised to fundamentally change America -- and he is doing just that.

If you have paid attention to the Presidential polls you have seen that Obama’s approval ratings have dropped drastically in the past few months. That is indicative of the fact that more and more Americans are recognizing the humongous error the country made in electing a socialist to the Presidency.

Little by little Americans have come to realize the dangers Obama’s plans hold for the sustainability of a constitutional republic. Many of those who voted for Obama now realize they do NOT want the change he is bent on bringing to America. They have come to realize, also, the price to be paid for Obama’s America is a loss of freedom.

Conservatives all across the country are banding together to fight Obama’s plans for a socialist America in groups such as the Tea Party Movement. There are many other groups gearing up to fight the socialists, progressives, marxists, and liberals in the 6 months, or so, to the Mid-Term Election in November.

As we observe the ineptitude of a President, obviously “in over his head,” trying to manage the “Gulf Gusher” problem, it is clear that his regime is all but useless in an emergency situation. Many are wondering just how he would react in the aftermath of another terrorist attack when he appears so befuddled by a so-called environmental catastrophe. The answer, I am afraid, does not reinforce one’s faith in the continued viability of America as a single 50 state country.

Yes, it IS terrible to contemplate – but there it is.

One can only conclude that America finds herself in the current mess as a direct result of ignorance. “Ignorance of what,” you ask? I must answer, “Ignorance of practically everything.”

I concluded, early on, the election of Obama was a direct result of ignorance. Ignorance of just how politics works in America as a result of no education, period. Ignorance as a direct result of education received in the government schools, and just plain old willful ignorance – choosing to be ignorant of politics in America, by electing not to involve oneself in the distasteful, and sometimes less than sanitary job of maintaining America’s freedom.

Ignorance of America’s colorful political history, and that of the world, is much to blame for the Obama Regime’s continued acceptance by vast numbers of Americans. But, I am happy to report that number is growing ever smaller as each day passes.

Ignorance of history, as well as of current events, among the populace of any country, can lead to consequences that are truly awful. Take the election of America’s first socialist government, for instance. The election of 2006 turned our national legislature into a socialist machine bent on creating an even stronger central government with all the power it could grasp. Then, in 2008, the capstone of socialist victory in American politics was the election of Barack Hussein Obama. He promised fundamental change in America. The politically savvy in America understood he meant to lead America into out and out socialism. And he did.

Even today, the average democrat voter will deny the existence of a socialist government in America today. They simply do not recognize it. I am convinced that ignorance stems from the fact that they were not taught the US Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the genius of America’s founders, and the love of a free constitutional republic that led their ancestors to lay down their lives to protect and preserve the freedom granted by that constitution. That is ignorance.

Back in the day, before teacher’s unions, American students were taught the fundamental concepts of American democracy and the rights and responsibilities of citizenship. We learned, as students, that life in America is a priviledge. We learned that freedom is not free, it is preserved by Americans who know its value, even if it means laying down their lives in its defense..

Students also leaned the immeasurable value of The Founding Documents, the Declaration of Independence, the US Constitution, and the all important Bill of Rights. They learned that The Founders said what they meant and meant what they said when writing the constiturtion. Students also learned that the US Constitution is a document for the ages. It is not a living breathing document subject to change at the whim of those citizens who live under its protection.

No longer. Today we graduate students wo cannot read their diplomas, who cannot find Canada and Medxico on a map, and have no idea what the Constitution or the Bill of Rights are! They have no clue that the Bill of Rights limits the role of government in the daily lives of Americans. If they did, there would be riots in the streets all over America today.

These are the Americans who placed the so-called democrats in charge of America’s government. I say “so-called” because those of us who have dabbled in politics, all our adult lives, understand that those in charge of the US government today are not democrats as they would have you believe. They are socialists, Marxists, communists, and progressives.

So – how WERE they elected? They were elected by people who genuinely thought they were voting for democrats, and by people who don’t care what kind of government we have so long as their place on the government dole is protected and their “hand outs” continue to arrive every month, and by those who were interested only in the power that would accrue to them if socialists controled the US government. The latter could not have accomplished this feat without the ignorance of the former, whose votes they knew they could count on.

Ignorance is a dangerous, dangerous, thing. WE here in America, are only just re-learning this lesson.

This is truly the Golden Era of Ignorance in America. If we survive the damage it has done, we must begin all over again teaching our children what it means to be an American under the protection of the original US Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

If we cannot repair the current public education system in America then we must trash it and build a new one in which the federal government and federal dollars have no part – and -- unionizing teachers is illegal.

We Americans must purge our Congress and the White House of socialist, Marxists, communists, and progressives at the ballot box and reclaim our country. If we do not -- America will have earned its place on the dust heap of history.

Retired US Army Major General Paul Vallely has written an article entitled: “Who are America’s Friends Now? The Chessboard!” You will find it posted at Stand Up America.com HERE.

In the article gen. Vallely calls for the immediate resignation of President Obama. General Valley says: “We now must call for the immediate resignation of Barry Soetero (AKA President Barack Hussein Obama) … based on incompetence, deceit, fraud, corruption, dishonesty and violation of the U.S. oath of office and the Constitution … .” Vallely goes on: "And a call for a national petition for new elections to select the next president of the United States of America must be initiated," he continued. "We can wait no longer for a traditional change of power and new government." Continuing, Gen. Vallely says: “"We cannot permit the current leaders in the White House and halls of Congress to continue in their efforts to lead us down the road of progressive socialism and destruction of America. According to World Net Daily – “Vallely graduated from West Point and was commissioned in the Army in 1961. He served 32 years before retiring, including in theaters in Europe and the Pacific Rim.

He saw two tours of combat duty in Vietnam. He's of late been a military analyst for the Fox News Channel and a lecturer on counter-terrorism. From 1982 to 1986 he commanded the 351st Civil Affairs Command that included all Special Forces, psychological warfare and civil military units in the Western United States and Hawaii.” (Read the entire article at World Net Daily HERE.)

America is waking up and realizing it is not a dream but a nightmare -- and a LIVING nightmare at that!

One of the earliest calls for Obama’s resignation came from fellow blogger Alan Caruba as far back as June 10th 2009. In his article Mr. Caruba said: “Since the President takes an oath to “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States”, a President who acts contrary to the Constitution or is found guilty of breaking the law should be subject to removal.” Mr. Caruba goes on to say: “I would argue that a President who appoints over twenty “czars” to supersede the powers of the secretaries of various federal departments; people who are apparently exempt from Congressional approval or oversight, and people who apparently do not feel the need to hold press conferences to explain what they are doing, is distinctly unconstitutional.”

Mr. Caruba even questions Obama’s eligibility to serve as
President when he says: “Americans who are fearful of the havoc President Barack Obama has let loose on this nation need to flood Congress with the demand that he be removed from office for his failure to protect, preserve, and defend the Constitution. Indeed, to conclusively prove he was constitutionally qualified to run for the presidency.”

Mr. Caruba says America cannot wait for the Presidential Election in 2012. He says: “Americans cannot afford to let this President hold power until the next election in 2012. They cannot hope that the midterm elections in 2010 will be sufficient to protect them against the damage he will do to them, to their children, and to their grandchildren before they are held.”

As Americans watch their country spiraling downward from its position as a world leader to just another mediocre socialist nation, they are deeply troubled by the experience. It is an entirely new and entirely distasteful view of a nation, which has prided itself on American Exceptionalism for well over 200 years.

As Americans watch the national debt headed towards 14 TRILLION dollars -- and are now told that in just a few years we can expect a national debt of over 19 TRILLION dollars, we realize neither we, nor or children, nor or grandchildren can sustain such a debt. That, in itself is troubling enough, but add to that a government hell-bent on more and more spending and more and more debt and one can understand why Americans are more than ready to, as we say, “throw the bums OUT!”

As this scribe considers all this, I remember that Obama DID promise to “fundamentally change” America. Well, he has certainly done that! Millions of us are more than ready to change it back!

THIS is what happens when America has a weak President.

There can be no doubt that America has the weakest President in office, since the Jimmy Carter fiasco. The rogue nations of the world can sense a spineless President and as soon as one is ensconced in the Oval office they begin to take advantage of the limp-wristed “see on evil, hear no evil, speak no evil” polices of these feckless regimes.

Carter had his Iranian hostage problem. Clinton had his Kosovo and Serbian problem, and now Obama has his Turkey-vs-Israel problem.

Obama wanted some “daylight” between Israel and America. Well, he accomplished that -- and THIS is the result.

There is the likelihood that war will breakout between Turkey and Israel at any hour. If Turkey sends Turkish military vessels and fighter aircraft to escort those so-called “peace activists” in another attempt to run the Gaza blockade, I have no doubt the IDF will sink Turkey’s ships and shoot down most, if not all, of the Turkish fighter aircraft. Of course there will be Israeli causalities, but Turkey needs to recognize they will going up against one of the premier militaries on the planet. Remember, too, If Israel goes to war today, they will be going to war under Netanyahu, a former IDF Special Forces officer. Netanyahu can be as bellicose as the situation requires.

Certain parts of the US President’s nether region have been caught in a crack -- largely by his own ineptitude. Those who sniff out weakness in an American leader are applying pressure. North Korea, Iran, Turkey, Russia, and yes, China are the usual culprits – save for Turkey, which, however, seems to be making a maximum effort to break its bonds with NATO and join that list of delinquents as a permanent member.

If Turkey goes through with committing its military in a skirmish with the Israeli Defense Forces, it will suffer withering loses as well as a tremendous loss of face.

Look, Netanyahu is not to be messed with! Frankly, I wish the man were qualified to be a candidate for the US Presidency. He is what America needs – a former officer in Israel’s elite special forces, he HAS the military experience required for a strong president. Unfortunately, America’s leadership comes in a far distant second to Netanyahu. Israel’s leader is perceived to be strong while America’s leader is perceived to be, well, pitiful!

President Obama’s obvious disdain for Israel and his nauseating rash of sucking up to Islamic countries leads one to question whether he favors Islam over Israel.

There are roughly 6 million Jews in Israel. There are roughly 6 million Jews in America. We would respectfully suggest that those American Jews, who support President Obama’s Regime, might wish to re-evaluate that support in light of Obama’s obvious dislike of the nation of Israel, which is, like it or not, recognized by the nations of the world as the Jewish state.

The Obama Regime not only has Americans at each other’s throats, it also has America’s allies at each other’s throats!

There is something terribly wrong with America’s current government led by the Obama Regime. America made a horrible mistake in 2006 and 2008 with the election of a socialist government to lead the country. Most sentient Americans have awakened to this fact and are determined to correct this error this November and again in November of 2012.

If the correction isn’t made in the next two elections, I think it is, indeed, plausible to see some of the American states again asserting their sovereignty by breaking away and re-establishing themselves as independent states.

Look, most Americans have come to understand that we, as a country, cannot continue in the direction the country is currently headed. They are as sincere as it is possible to be when the say they want their country back. They stand ready to rescue and restore America and elect a leader Americans and the rest of the world can respect.

America did not choose the role of policeman of the world. We were drafted into the job. Even if we threw up our hands and walked away, we would still have the job BY DEFAULT!

It seems America has its very own Hamlet in the Oval Office. His wrestling with decisions is reinforcing the appearance of weakness -- and weakness in an American President can bring the world to the brink of war. In fact, we may be tiptoeing along that brink even as I scribble these few words.

World Net Daily reports: “Bureaucrats already drawing up plan to implement. $1 billion, 30-week processing program revealed in leaked 14-page Homeland Security memo”

World Net Daily claims to have obtained a copy of the plan, which, they say, was drafted by the U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services, a division of the Department of Homeland Security Department. WND reports the memo as saying: “The undated draft report anticipates the possibility of the legislation requiring public benefits to amnesty applicants.”

WND then claims a direct quote of a particular direction from the memo: "If the statute requires interim benefits while application pending, issue discrete variant of status document (shorter term duration that [sic] if issued after prospective immigrant status granted)."

This memo simply underscores our belief that the Obama Regime intends to ram this piece of legislation, “Amnesty for Illegal Aliens” (Comprehensive Immigration Reform Bill) down the throats of the American people -- whether we want it or not! (Read the entire article HERE.)

The reported leaked memo also suggests there should be negotiations with an outside contractor – now. This suggestion is being made even before passage of the legislation. This suggests one thing. It suggests the Obama Regime has NO DOUBT they will be able to shove this Amnesty for illegal Aliens through the Congress.

At the risk of seeming redundant we have warned over and over again this was/is coming. Yes, Americans have been able to stop the bill, in it’s tracks, twice in the recent past. But that was before America had a socialist government and a man who sees himself as some sort of benign dictator in the Oval Office of the President of the US. Obama has brought that “fundamental change” he vowed to make in America while he was on the campaign trail.

It is plain to every one, including the democrat/socialists that the American electorate has awakened and now understands it made a colossal mistake in 2006 and 2008 and is determined to correct that mistake this coming November by tossing out of office as many democrat/socialists as is possible. As we said, even the democrat/socialists know this. That is why the big push is on to get those illegal aliens made legal citizens with the ability to vote as quickly as possible.

The democrat/socialist are making a “Hail Mary” pass in an attempt to save their grasp on the US government. They know they must get it passed as quickly as possible to save the 2012 election. Unless something totally unexpected happens to favor the democrat/socialists this November’s Mid-Term Election is set to be a massacre of democrat/socialist incumbents and even first time candidates.

The GOP should be extremely wary. The Dems are going to put a strong arm on them in hopes of getting some republican support for the bill. Its called “political cover.” The GOP should understand that if a single republican supports the Amnesty Bill, the GOP could see their support in November evaporate. Voters, who already feel there is little difference between the two parties, may just stay home… again!

Understand this: The support for the GOP candidates, at the moment, does not indicate there is a love affair with the Republican Party. No. What it DOES indicate is the disdain in which the American electorate holds the democrat/socialist party! The electorate is simply using the GOP as a means toward an end -- and that end is to purge the Congress of as many democrat/socialists as possible. All incumbents are skating on extremely thin ice, democrats, and republicans alike.

Two predictions are begging to be made: One - The Amnesty Bill, like ObamaCare, will be foisted on the American people, against their wishes, by the Obama Regime and Obama’s courtesans in Congress. Two – It will be a long time before a Democrat takes the Presidential oath of office again.

Obama’s insufferable arrogance has set back the cause of his political party and done incalculable damage to the political aspirations of any black candidate for president for the foreseeable future.
America has just had a taste of the truth in the expression: “Power corrupts; Absolute power corrupts absolutely.”

This should come as no surprise to anyone!

According to an article at CNSNEWS.COM entitled: “Americans Who Don’t Attend Church Form Base of Obama’s Support, Gallup Polling Indicates,” Terence P. Jeffrey, Editor-in-Chief writes the following:

“Gallup reports the breakouts from its presidential approval survey for three different types of church-goers: people who attend church weekly, people who attend church nearly weekly or monthly, and people who seldom or never attend church. Among these three groups, Obama’s approval rating tops 50 percent only among those who seldom or never attend church. In fact, among this group it was at 56 percent for the week ending May 8.”

Jeffrey went on to write: “Obama’s approval rating dropped to a low of 38 percent among weekly church-goers in the week that ended on April 4. By contrast, Obama’s presidential approval rating has never dropped below 50 percent among those who seldom or never go to church. (Read the entire story HERE.)

Surely you are not surprised by these findings – are you? You should not be. As far back as the presidential campaign, Obama was supported by the less religious among Americans.

In an article from the “Christian Post UK,” and posted on “Directions to Orthodoxy” dated July 9th, 2008, it is noted: “Presidential candidate Barack Obama has stronger support among less religious Americans than rival John McCain, a survey revealed.” The article goes on to say: “The survey, conducted by The Gallup Poll and released Tuesday, found 55 percent of Americans who say religion is not important in their life backed Obama, compared to 36 percent for McCain. The reverse was true for Americans who said religion was important in their life, with 50 percent to 40 percent preferring McCain over Obama. WE recommend you visit their site HERE.

Little has changed, at least for Obama’s support. A little deeper in the Christian Post UK article it is noted: “The finding that religious voters prefer a Republican candidate is not new. Evangelical Christians, who are viewed as highly religious, have traditionally been stalwart voters of the Republican Party…” You may read the entire article HERE.

As a conservative Christian I am not surprised by these findings. What troubles me is that ANY Christian could support Obama and the American political left. With every passing day it becomes more and more obvious the American political left has embraced socialism.

It is the opinion of this scribe that the Christian faith and socialism cannot co-exist. They are totally incompatible.

Simply put -- Christians believe in God and believe that man needs God. Socialism, on the other hand, sees no need for God. The “State” takes over the duties of the “Supreme Being.”
“Socialist philosophy assumes that the masses [are] as dumb as children, and they don't need a god to reach their fondest dreams, but a government to hand out the goodies… .“ Thus states Julie Behling in an article titled: “Why I Believe Socialism and Christianity Are Wholly Incompatible.” Ms. Behling goes on to say: “In Christian philosophy, individuals are responsible to care for the needs of the poor, the sick, the widow, and the orphan, but not compelled. Those who rise to the challenge will find themselves on the right hand of God because of their CHOICES, and those who don't -- will not receive the blessings reserved for those who do.

In Socialist philosophy, all are compelled to care for the needy whether they want to or not (through taxation), and this care comes through the administration of a notoriously inefficient bureaucracy.”

Ms. Behling explains: “Christian philosophy causes men and women to rise up, work for their sustenance depending oftentimes on faith that help will come if and when it is needed. It is hard, it is risky, but the rewards of making the proper use of God-given free will are great. The consequences of poor choices can be brutal.

Socialist philosophy seeks to soften the blows of consequences to natural laws, both positive consequences - financial abundance for the thrifty, wise, hard-worker -- and negative consequences - poverty to those who break the natural laws that govern abundance.”

As one who subscribes to the Christian faith, I believe Ms. Behling is "spot on" when she says: “Socialism falsely informs men and women there is another way to reach their ultimate dreams besides faith in any god.” (We urge you to read Ms. Behling’s article in its entirety HERE.)

In summing up Ms. Behling says: “The degree to which taking care of the poor and the needy is instituted and administered by government is the degree to which freedom is abdicated.” (Editor’s note: The italics used here for emphasis are totally mine.)

It may seem that we have moved far a field here, in this commentary, from the original intent. I assure you -- we have not. My intention was to try to explain why the majority of the religious in America, the Christians especially, cannot support Obama en masse. Obama’s socialism flies in the face of the Christian faith. In fact Obama’s socialism is seen, among many Christians, as a religion in, and of, itself. It is a secular religion, without God, but a religion, nonetheless.

I suspect my conclusion above will not sit well with Obama followers, but the truth, oftimes, brings pain.

Evangelical Christians have only to consider Obama’s stance toward Israel to find reason to renounce his particular brand of socialism.

For evangelicals the fate of Israel and the fate of the United States are inextricably interwoven. The promise of God to Abraham that God would bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel is taken literally. According to their belief, Obama’s rebuke of Israel and his obvious fondness for Israel’s enemies will bring the wrath of God down on America. In fact, many Christians believe that has already begun. They believe that God’s protection of America has been lifted and America’s future holds only crisis after crisis and disaster after disaster until America once again embraces God’s “Chosen People.”

Americans have slowly come to realize the leadership they chose in 2006 and 2008 was a huge mistake and has brought nothing but pain and suffering to the American people. Elections have consequences. Decisions have consequences. America is living through the consequences of choosing a socialist government, which is incrementally dismantling our constitutional republic right before our eyes.

One of the signs given man as to when to expect the “End of Days’ was when people began living their daily lives as they did in the time of Noah. We have certainly reached that point in the evolution of our American society. And, unfortunately, just as Noah preached over and over again, to the masses, that the rains WERE coming and the ensuing flood would consume every one unless they changed their ways, they refused to listen and even rebuked and made fun of the old man building a huge boat in that dry land. Even the unchurched and the non-religious supporters of Obama know how that story turned out.

All the signs are there. Just as Israel paid a terrible price for demanding an earthly king, Saul, just so they could have a king of their own, just like their neighboring countries, America will be required to pay a price, of biblical proportions, for demanding a leader who remake America into the image of the socialist countries with whom we share this globe.

To say the end is nigh would be kind – and wrong. Unfortunately, America has much suffering in her future long before anything resembling the end rises above her clouded horizon.
