Socialist Obama Envisions A Socialist America
Socialism IS Slavery -- To The State!
A Commentary by J. D. Longstreet

so·cial·ism
NOUN:
1. Any of various theories or systems of social organization in which the means of producing and distributing goods is owned collectively or by a centralized government that often plans and controls the economy.
2. The stage in Marxist-Leninist theory intermediate between capitalism and communism, in which collective ownership of the economy under the dictatorship of the proletariat has not yet been successfully achieved. (SOURCE)
The definition above clearly describes Obama's agenda for America. Socialism.
Every time those of us who clearly see America's President for what he is and dare to speak out publicly about the dangers to American freedom and liberty Mr. Obama's agenda presents -- we are attacked as ignorant boobs. The attacks themselves are a key part of the way socialism works -- silence those who would warn of the danger socialism presents.
As Mr. Obama is campaigning for another chance to bring America to her knees, there are those on the socialist plantation in America preparing to flock to the polls and vote to draw the chains of socialism even tighter around themselves and all Americans. They are the people the fathers of Marxism and communism referred to as: “useful idiots.”
Future historians will write of the ignorance of the American electorate in the early 21st century and wonder at their lack of reasoning. I sincerely doubt those future historians writing about us will be Americans, however. By that time, the “American iron curtain” will have fallen and we will be engulfed in the darkness of communism.
My maternal grandmother had the ability to see short distances into the future and make accurate predictions. Nothing was made of it. In our family, it was something that was, well, just there. I grew up in an atmosphere in which groping into the future, mostly with little success, was not uncommon in our family. But, I sometimes think, a bit of my grandmother’s ability may have been attached to my DNA. Frankly, I rather hope it has not.
If I remark that I have a bad feeling about something, my family takes notice and plans accordingly. Me? I worry.
On one occasion, my family and I were going on a road trip. I felt awful about it. Something was telling me, literally shouting in my mind “don’t go.” My wife was driving that day. A few blocks from home, I demanded that she stop the car. She pulled over and I got out.
We had this protracted discussion at curbside as to why, I didn’t want to go, and I could not give a reasonable answer -- except that something was very wrong.
Finally, after a great deal of persuasion from both my wife and my daughter, I got back in the car and we continued our road trip. About ten miles down the hiway we had a head-on collision with a drunk driver attempting to make a U-turn in front of us.
We were all belted but my passenger seat broke away from its mount and my head crashed into the windshield smashing it (the windshield) and giving me one heck of a headache.
The car was totaled.
The local hospital cleared us all with bruises, contusions, and possibly a light concussion for yours truly.
That is just one example from many such, uh, “premonitions.” I hasten to add that I believe all human beings have the ability to sense danger. But it does seem to be more pronounced in some, for whatever reason.
True premonitions are rarely wrong. Science tells us that premonitions are based on human emotions. That alone should cause us to question them. But here’s the thing. Just being wrong once or twice causes one to wonder WHEN is the feeling right—and -- WHEN is the feeling wrong. See the dilemma? It will, most certainly, make a worrier of any person endowed (or cursed) with them. It is, in my opinion, truly a curse.
No, I am not about to make a prediction! But I am deeply worried/concerned about the coming Presidential Election -- and -- I am about to issue a warning.
I am just as concerned about the coming Presidential Election as I was over the auto wreck, I noted above. Those of us who live along America’s southeastern coast know when the Coast Guard runs up the hurricane warning flags, it is time to pay close attention and prepare for the coming storm.
I fear for America. A storm is coming. Here’s why I say that:
America is dangerously split. Our Congress is a very good example of where the American people are at this moment in history – split, divided. As a result, the election in November could just as easily swing one way as it could the other. Many will disagree with me. I expect that, I respect that, and I understand that.
The GOP has never gone up against a candidate as devious, unscrupulous, and self-assured as Obama. Obama is what I would call “neo-evil.” I do not think the Republicans are anywhere near ready for that with which they are about to be inundated.
Look. A man who will attack the Supreme Court in a State of the Union Address – with the court sitting right in front of him, and then issue thinly veiled threats at them, again, over the fifty-fifty chance that his signature achievement – Obamacare – might be ruled unconstitutional -- is capable of doing whatever he feels is necessary to secure a second term as President.
Obama’s machine, and it is as huge and powerful a political machine as this nation as ever seen (far exceeding anything Romney and the Republicans can muster) has been at work since his first election. They are dug-in in all 50 states just awaiting the word to begin shredding the Republican nominee.
Obama has no problem comparing himself to Abraham Lincoln, even Ronald Reagan when, in fact, he resembles Hugo Chavez in Venezuela more than ANY past US President. Obama’s efforts within his administration all seem to indicate that he is attempting to recreate a Chavez regime here, in America.
A socialist is a person who has decided that capitalism doesn’t work and is striving toward communism. Socialism is only the middle phase between capitalism and communism. That middle phase is where Obama is today and he is striving toward the latter -- and he intends to drag America into the cesspool with him.
I am not going to predict that Obama will win in November. I don’t think I need do that. I think just watching the campaign the next few months will be all that is necessary to convince you that I am not just whistling Dixie. Of course, by that time, it will be too late.

Newt’s Done! So, Apparently, Is The GOP!
Newt’s Done! So, Apparently, Is The GOP!
A Commentary by J. D. Longstreet
Newt Gingrich’s ambition to be President of the US did not take a shot in the foot over the past weekend – it was a headshot! You can stick a fork in him ‘cause … he’s DONE!
Either Newt, or his campaign folks, grievously misread conservative voters concerning the nation’s financial mess and socialized medicine.
Two things the Gingrich campaign apparently missed: One is that Conservatives know drastic cuts in government spending must be made to salvage our country. The other is that conservatives do not like, nor do we want, socialized medicine … in any form or by any name … period!
No amount of “backing and filling” will get Newt out of this hole. He might just as well get out of the race -- right now. Any chance he DID have has vanished. Kaput!
As I survey the Republican field of candidates for President today, I have to conclude the GOP has conceded the raced to Obama and the democrats.
I must tell you, I have strong suspicions the GOP does not want to have a republican in the Oval Office with the country in the financial mess it is in today. They do not want to be painted with the same brush as the current occupant -- and they sure as heck do want to create a modern “Hoover Days” presidency.
As an American who believes the US is in dire need of rescuing from the clutches of the socialists in our government, I must tell you that should I confirm that is the policy of the GOP concerning this Presidential Election, I will immediately resign my membership in the Republican Party and become an Independent.
If you take a serious look at the GOP candidates you quickly see they are not the “A” team. In fact, one would have to conclude they are more nearly the “C” team than even the “B” team.
I have watched the Mainstream Media and their “Mitch Daniels Watch” ad nausium. The truth is – it will make little, if any, difference for Daniels to enter the race. Daniels cannot carry the social conservatives. (Social Conservatives are MOST of the conservatives.) In fact, he has NO CHANCE of getting their support -- or their votes.
None of the remainder of the field has a snowball’s chance of making it to the portico of the White House, let alone the Oval Office.
Yes, I am pessimistic ... at least about any chance the GOP will win in November of 2012. I look at the field of would-be presidents and I say: “REALLY? You gotta be kidding me!”
I can only surmise … the GOP REALLY does not want a Republican in the Oval office in 2013. How else to explain their pitiful efforts in recruiting candidates?
So, we can look for the GOP to really go after the US Senate in an attempt to box-in Obama after 2012. However, Obama will rule by executive order right up ‘til we have a constitutional crisis. I mean, the country has to reign in a president’s ability to rule by fiat, through executive orders, by-passing the Congress, which is purportedly, the people’s voice. There can be no doubt Obama is abusing that privilege and it must be stopped. (That is one of the many reasons we conservatives wanted to defeat Obama in the 2012 election!)
To sum up: Obama will win with nearly 100 percent of the black vote, 80 some-odd percent of the Latino vote, the vast majority of the labor vote (and labor money), the support of the mainstream media, the liberal vote, the socialist vote, and a handful of Progressive votes.
The GOP candidate will get the country club and blue-blood vote (including the Rinos) while the Tea Party voters, and the other conservatives, (Yes, there are conservatives not aligned with the Tea Party.) stay home.
The plain truth, as I see it, is this: The Republicans can only win the Presidency in November of 2012 with “Divine Intervention.”
Hey, I call’ em as I see ‘em -- and that’s the way I see this election shaking out.
As I said at the beginning: Newt is done and so, I believe, is the GOP – at least for 2012.

GOP Still Short a Viable Presidential Contender for 2012

GOP Still Short a Viable Presidential Contender for 2012
A Commentary by J. D. Longstreet
The Conservative Political Action Conference is in the midst of their three-day meeting in Washington and would-be Republican presidential contenders have been parading in and out the meeting(s).
From the reports I have read those attending have been sort of dipping their toe into the conservative waters checking the temperature and the current of the water, and then -- nervously counting their toes.
To date there has not been a single republican to officially announce he/she is entering the race for the Oval Office. Not one.
According to various polls there is not even a front-runner among those who are thought to be serious contenders -- even though they are holding back any announcement to that effect.
Out here in the swamps of the southern hinterlands we are overly fond of any of the lot who are “not yet running.”
Donald Trump? Give me a break, already!
Romney has about as good a chance as did McCain.
Allow me to dust off my crystal ball and reach deep inside, with my razor sharp mental powers, of course, and prognosticate the republican presidential ticket for 2012.
Newt Gingrich and Michele Bachmann. There. Feel better? Can’t say that I do, either.
I have to admit to a certain degree of concern, worry even, that conservatives may have bought into the theory that Obama is so badly liked by voters that he has already secured his place in US history as a one-term president. I don’t buy that. And I think anyone who does … is making a huge mistake.
Look. This is the Democratic Party we are talking about here. Never, ever, sell them short when it comes to elections. They will pull out all the stops and they will do whatever it takes to win. Republicans, especially conservative republicans cannot hold a candle to them when it comes to electioneering. Heck, they have been working on Obama’s second term since the Wednesday morning after the election in November of 2008. They have been working at the state levels, especially the office of the various Secretaries of State through out the nation. They have been laying a foundation for as much control of elections at the state level as they possibly can. That is where elections are won and lost. Think not? Remember Florida???
Conservative enthusiasm was heightened when Obama supporters stayed away from the polls in November of 2010. There was a good reason why they stayed away. Obama was not on the ticket. In 2012, he will be – and they will be back with the smashing energy of a tidal wave.
Understanding the Democratic Party is akin to understanding Egyptian hieroglyphics – with a Brooklyn accent. It is darned near impossible. It is an amalgamation of every sort of leftists special interest group in the United States. Heck, there is even a democratic wing of the Democratic Party, small though it is, shoved into a darkened corner by the socialists, the progressives, and a host of “single issue” misfits, as well and those “undocumented democrats” we sometimes refer to as illegal aliens. And we must include the vast majority of the mainstream media in the US who controls so many of the gateways to information the voters need to make informed decisions.
With such an, er, eclectic crowd as that, how is it possible to underestimate their ability to snatch an election even while under the intense gaze of an entire nation?
The plain truth is – conservatives are just not very good at lying, cheating, stealing, being creative in matriculating ballots.
In my years of covering elections at the local levels, I have seen things you would not believe. I have sat in rooms with personnel from the US Justice Department, guns strapped to their hips and recorders in hand overseeing recounts and checking election records. I have witness ballot swapping. I had seen entire ballot boxes disappear only to be “found” days later in someone’s barn -- way out in the boon docks. And that just scratches the surface.
The point is, the Democratic parry is deadly in earnest when it comes to winning an election and whatever it takes is not just a motto, it is a plan of action.
Obama will, in all likelihood, be re-elected as President in 2012.
Why do I say that?
Because it has been my observation that the GOP is not willing to get down in the gutter and wallow in the political mud and mire and sewage where the Democratic Party reigns.
Politics is distasteful to most conservatives. It makes them feel dirty. It makes them want to take a shower to get the stink off. And they don’t like compromising their decency to win an election. The Democratic Party has demonstrated time and again that they have no such problem.
The GOP has a serious problem finding a Presidential candidate, who can stand up to the vicious, take no prisoners attack, sure to come from the leftists.
With that in mind, I predict the dirtiest, most vicious, presidential campaign in history between now and November of 2012.
Strap in. The ride is going to be extremely rough.
