Take your pick of spellings: Anjem Choudry, Anjem Choudary, Anjem Choudhury or Ajum Choudhary. He is the scourge of freedom loving peoples in Britain. He is a British citizen and a jihadist working openly on the streets of London - trying to bring Islam to the West in a very final way. The members of the English Defence League (EDL) are protesting Choudry's influence in their beloved and non-Muslim country. See an English Defence League video about the protest below.

A protest demonstration against Choudry, extremist Islam and the country's Islam-appeasing, over-taxing authorities, is scheduled in Leeds on October 31st, 2009 at the Leeds City Square, 13.00 to 15.00 hours. The name of the protest is "Judgement Day."

The next thing you need to know is that a "fanatical group, Islam4UK, is also assembling on October 31st to push sharia law on the people of Britain:

A RADICAL Muslim group sparked outrage last night as it launched a massive campaign to impose sharia law on Britain.

The fanatical group Islam4UK has ­announced plans to hold a potentially ­incendiary rally in London later this month.

And it is calling for a complete upheaval of the British legal system, its officials and ­legislation.

 So the English Defence League will also be there. Their website says they stand for:

(1) free speech, (2) democracy, (3) equality in law, and (4) cultural tolerance.

Choudry and Islam want no part of these principles. From EDL:

“Not being a Muslim is a crime against god”
“If you are a non-Muslim you are guilty”
“I must have hatred for everything which is non-Islam”

Anjem Choudary has also stated that it is his aim to fly an Islamic flag over 10 Downing Street and to enforce Sharia law over our country. His hatred for freedom, democracy and our culture is clear to see.

Unfortunately others share Anjem Choudary’s view. Extremists like him, use their influence in the Islamic community to spread the seed of hatred among disillusioned Muslim youth.

For years we have looked to the government to resolve the direct and indirect causes of Islamic extremism in our country. They have failed us. And they have failed our troops who fight for our freedom from terrorism and tyranny.

Whilst British troops have been fighting and dying, your Members of Parliament have submitting inappropriate expense claims for duck islands, porn films and luxurious second homes. Their obscene behaviour had to be leaked to the press before some of them reluctantly repaid the money taken from tax-payers.

They have also bailed-out the fat-cats, the privileged few, in the City with hundreds of billions of pounds of tax-payers money whilst leaving 2.47 million British people to rot unemployed, or on unliveable wages.

In the absence of effective Government the English Defence League has been forced to rise up.

 Choudry is a follower of Omar Bakri Mohammed who founded al-Muhajiroun, which Choudry now leads. Mohammed also founded Hizb ut-Tahrir. Hizb ut-Tahrir has already made inroads into the U.S. under the guise of "moderation." President Obama's head of Muslim Affairs, Dalia Mogahed, was interviewed on a British television show, Muslimah Dilemma on the Islam Channel on October 4th. Ms. Mogahed told the host of the show that she finds from her surveys that "the majority of women around the world associate gender justice, or justice for women, with shari'ah compliance." Only a small majority of women, said our President's advisor, associate Sharia law with oppression of woman.

Hizb ut-Tahrir attempted to hold a "Caliphate Planning Conference" at an Islamic school in Bridgeview, Ilinois, but the event was canceled after publicity, at least in the school; instead the group moved to the Hilton Oak Lawn in Oak Lawn, Illinois. The goal of Hizb ut-Tahrir:

In its self-description, Hizb-ut-Tahrir declares: "Its work is not educational, as it is not a school, nor is its work concerned with giving sermons and preaching. Rather its work is political, in which the thoughts and laws of Islam are presented in order to act upon them and to carry them so as to establish them in life's affairs and in the State."

According to Heritage Foundation researcher Ariel Cohen:

Hizb-ut-Tahrir is a "totalitarian organization, akin to a disciplined Marxist-Leninist party, in which internal dissent is neither encouraged nor tolerated." Candidates for membership undergo two years of indoctrination, becoming full members only after they "mel[t] with the Party."  Members belong to compartmentalized cells and know the identities of only the others in that cell. "When a critical mass of cells is achieved," writes Cohen, "according to its doctrine, Hizb may move to take over a country in preparation for the establishment of the Caliphate." Hizb-ut-Tahrir reportedly has cells in 40 or more nations.

ISLAMIC law has been officially adopted in Britain, with sharia courts given powers to rule on Muslim civil cases.

The government has quietly sanctioned the powers for sharia judges to rule on cases ranging from divorce and financial disputes to those involving domestic violence.


Rulings issued by a network of five sharia courts are enforceable with the full power of the judicial system, through the county courts or High Court.

Previously, the rulings of sharia courts in Britain could not be enforced, and depended on voluntary compliance among Muslims.

It has now emerged that sharia courts with these powers have been set up in London, Birmingham, Bradford and Manchester with the network’s headquarters in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. Two more courts are being planned for Glasgow and Edinburgh.

The mistakes the Brits have made by allowing Islam to encroach on huge chunks of normal English life is astonishing. Perhaps the worst is allowing Muslim MEN further control over a British Muslim citizen, who may not want a Shari'ah court looking over them. What happens to a Muslim couple who are British citizens, attending a mosque but wanting to follow Western laws because they are lawfully living in the West?

October 2000, Choudary co-signed and issued a “Warning to All Jews…in the UK” that “if you support Israel financially, verbally or physically you will become part of the [Middle East] conflict.” Choudary, in other words, explicitly warned Jews in democratic Great Britain, the mother of parliaments, that if they opened their mouths in support of Israel, they risked being attacked in England by Islamist terrorists.

Speaking at a meeting in London, Anjem Choudary, right-hand man of exiled preacher Omar Bakri Mohammed [his deported mentor], said: "It may be by pure conversion that Britain will become an Islamic state. We may never need to conquer it from the outside."

So how would this happen? Choudry tells us and notice his plan for the "flag of Sharia."

Mr Choudary then referred to Bakri’s notorious aim of flying the ‘flag of Sharia’ over Downing Street, claiming that this would happen by 2020 as 500 people a day were converting to Islam and laughing that Muslim families in places like Whitechapel and Bethnal Green in east London were having ‘10 or 12 children each’.

Just a note about the English Defence League: My friend Lionheart (Paul Ray) is a member of EDL. There are some who refer to the EDL as "far right," which I think is a good thing in these dire times. No marshmallow can stand before a hot fire. Nevertheless, if you see "far right" as skinheads, then EDL is not "far right." As I have watched Lionheart for a couple of years now, I see no violence. I see and hear the urging for peaceful and meaningful protests, which have sometimes not been allowed, although Muslim groups HAVE been allowed to protest returning troops from Iraq in a most despicable manner, as well as the British people and their values, in general.

Madonna Targeted for Beheading: Nothing New, She's Just an Infidel

Madonna has now been targeted in England for beheading. Islamic websites have been chatting it up about Madge. While this is a terrible thing for Madonna and her family, perhaps this will bring recognition to the West that this IS Islamic jihad, and Madonna, with her high profile, world-wide identity, will be just one of the first to be targeted.

Glaringly obvious in this report: nothing from Madonna condemning Islam and the ongoing threats to non-Muslims. Here is her spokeman's disappointing, but business as usual, response:

This seems to upset extreme Muslims who forget she respects people of all faiths whether Islamic, Christian or Buddhist. Like anyone else she would like a peaceful end to the problems in Gaza.

UK’s Gordon Brown Calls for the Creation of a Global Society

Britain's Prime Minister Gordon Brown will give his annual foreign policy speech today at the Lord Mayor's Banquet. He will be calling for the reform of international financial institutions and the forging of a new world order.

Via London (Reuters) from an excerpt from his speech, Brown calls on the alliance between Britain and the U.S. and “more broadly between Europe and the U.S” to lead global efforts to build a “stronger and more just international order.”

Brown will meet with other world leaders in Washington next week for an economic summit to discuss long-term economic solutions to the current financial crisis. According to a summary of the speech Brown will say:

"Uniquely in this global age, it is now in our power to come together so that 2008 is remembered not just for the failure of a financial crash that engulfed the world but for the resilience and optimism with which we faced the storm, endured it and prevailed, . . . "...And if we learn from our experience of turning unity of purpose into unity of action, we can together seize this moment of change in our world to create a truly global society."

Brown will set out five great challenges the world faces and he will identify five stages for tackling the economy. Brown wants immediate action to stop the spread of the financial crisis to middle-income countries, a new facility for the International Monetary Fund, an agreement on a global trade deal, and reform of the global financial system.

I'm hoping other bloggers -- no, I pray other bloggers will pick-up this story and drum the hell out of it; bloggers better suited than I to prepare the rest of us for the battle on the horizon. Let our cry be: "We Will Not Let Freedom Die Without Us At Her Side."

This story is about one blogger in particular, Paul Ray, and what's happening to him and to our brothers and sisters across the pond. The politically-correct, multiculturalism, British thought-police arrested Ray for blogging about radical Muslims who were promoting jihadism. They arrested Ray for allegedly inciting racial hatred - not the radical imams. His specific crime? Well, he called the radicals who advocated the beheading of infidels - meaning us -- 'savages.' For the life of me, I wouldn't know what else to call them either.

Capitulation to Islam is becoming a reality, and it's also closer to home than you think. From what I now understand, there are other similar instances that occurred here in the United States, which I hope bloggers across the Internet will investigate.

First, take a look at what's going on in England. See anything familiar?

The [British] government has made so-called "hate speech," illegal, but it also depends on who is doing the hating. When one group of British citizens protested the Mohammed cartoons at the Danish embassy in London in 2006, they expressed their allegiance to Osama bin Laden, and called for beheadings and nuclear attacks against Denmark Britain and America. Yet British police arrested no one, until there was a public uproar.

Compare that to when Britain's Channel 4 Dispatches program exposed violent rhetoric in local mosques. British police initially decided to charge - not the radical imams who were promoting violence and bigotry - but the news program that did the report, for allegedly stirring up racial hatred.

For now, it suffices to scream a new battle cry in unison, "We will not let Freedom die without us at her side." Those are fighting words, my friends, and perhaps I could even be arrested for writing and promoting them. But, I was born in New Hampshire and my "Live Free or Die" spirit came with me.

The Ultimate Uber-Muslim: Bringing Euro-Islam to Life

SpiegelOnline reports that a U.S. classified terrorist-sympathizer, whose visa has been revoked in America, is teaching British social workers how to accept Islam.

Tariq Ramadan is speaking at the "Cultural Diversity and Social Cohesion" conference with an audience of social workers who see the seamy side of life working with gangs and "failed integration policies." According to SpiegelOnline, the social workers are there to:

...learn that multiculturalism also has positive aspects and, most importantly, that no one needs to be afraid of Muslims.

When Ramadan takes the stage at this conference:

...[his] appearance alone is enough to add a touch of brilliance to this gloomy conference room. Smiling here and nodding there, the “esteemed guest” strides up to the podium with the confidence of an entertainer who has grown accustomed to success. Tariq Ramadan knows how to win people over.

Many of the veteran social workers have an almost enraptured expression on their faces as they look up at the tall, thin man. With his striking features and dark well-trimmed beard, his sand-colored suit with its elegant casualness, the unbuttoned collar of his bright yellow shirt and his slightly dark complexion, Ramadan resembles a Latino singer....

Tariq Ramadan is reported to be a professor of Islamic studies in Geneva, currently teaching at St. Anthony's College as a visiting fellow:

In effect, Ramadan is something of a modern-day itinerant preacher. His mission is to boost the self-confidence of Europe’s Muslims and to explain his vision of a “European Islam” to Europe’s Christian elite. The new brand of faith which, according to Ramadan, “is currently taking shape among European Muslims with Islamic-European culture” aims to reconcile Western values with the teachings of Islam. This “Euro-Islam” has allowed Ramadan to win friends among immigrant children and proponents of interreligious dialogue -- and make enemies among right-wing nationalists and hardline Islamists.

Ramadan is explaining a "brand new faith," a faith that changes with time, that fits today - the Islam of today. He is controversial. Some wonder what he said, and how he said it, as he speaks with young Muslim men - in private, as he often does.

Former Prime Minister Tony Blair was impressed, as well as Time Magazine:

“We need trust and dialogue and a more flexible faith,” says Ramadan. This kind of language prompted former British Prime Minister Tony Blair to appoint him to what was essentially a Muslim task force to combat extremism. On the other side of the Atlantic, Time magazine placed him on its list of the 100 people who comprise "tomorrow's most influential individuals."

Others see him as an Islamist in disguise, a “wolf in sheep's clothing,” a master of deception. And, as a matter of fact, Ramadan has made a number of statements that don’t sound remotely liberal or tolerant.

Ramadan is described as an "Islamic Superstar," and indeed he has quite a pedigree, according to Spiegel. His grandfather is the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood and his father, a "religious zealot."

Crimes Against Humanity: Deadly Denial

The Guardian's Claudia Webbe is clearly upset at Prime Minister Tony Blair's stance on, in Blair's words, the:

"...gang culture that is killing innocent young black kids...."

GuardianUnlimited reports that Blair is taking advantage of his last few days and weeks as Prime Minister. Blair admitted to:

"lurching into total frankness."

The PM directly addressed the citizenry calling:

"...on black people to lead the fight against knife crime."

Ms. Webbe characterized the citizenry as:

"...a willing audience of, mainly, white faces..."

Ms. Webbe does not affirm or deny that black children are dying at the hands of Black gangs. Instead, she refers to a report that says:

"...a significant minority of vulnerable children and young people, disproportionate numbers of whom are black, were suffering from negative outcomes and outputs and endure high levels of exclusions, and that service provision was not good enough."

So, Ms. Webbe does not deny that young, black children, as well as non-black children, are dying at the hands of gangs, or someone. Prime Minister Blair, as paraphrased by The Guardian, says that the spate of London murders

"was not being caused by poverty, but a distinctive black culture."

and...

He said people had to drop their political correctness and recognise that the violence would not be stopped:

"by pretending it is not young black kids doing it".

The Home Office Minister, Lady Scotland, disagrees with Blair and says the:

"...disproportionate number of black youths in the criminal justice system was a function of their disproportionate poverty, and not to do with a distinctive black culture.

So, is Lady Scotland saying that the murders are not due to Black gangs murdering Black children, as well as non-Black children?

Claudia Webbe says:

"The prime minister is wrong to assert or imply that this is a "black problem": the bullet does not discriminate in its effect, and neither is the black community responsible for the manufacture, supply and importation of dangerous weapons."

Ms. Webbe clearly does not deny or affirm that the gangs are comprised of those from the Black community. She blames the murders on the bullets, and not only that, she denies that Blacks work in the industries that may produce the bullets, the weapons - no one Black is to blame. She doesn't state that knives are at fault, or those working in industries which manufacturer knives.

This post is not about race; it is about denial; insert Hispanic Gang, White gang, Skin-head Gang, Islamic Jihad, Pro-Life terrorist, Pro-Abortion terrorist, Green Terrorist - they are all terrorists. To deny it is foolish and self-destructive.

To be fair to Ms. Webbe, she asserts that the Black Community has:

"...not been silent in its condemnation and fight against the UK's history of violence."

I have much empathy for those living in crime-ridden communities, with no way out, who have the gumption to stand-up and fight back, if only by persistently notifying authorities. It is not a desirable way of life - in fact, it is undeniably a nightmare. She points to a successful community program (apparently from 2000):

Operation Trident is a clear example of community mobilisation and our preparedness to stand up to the "men of violence".

The issue is, of course, who are the current men and/or women of violence? Are they Black gang members, White gang members, or is it Islamic terrorism? Come, come now, don't be a denier. In the here and now, around the world, it is also Islamic Jihad terrorism. In the streets of London at any given moment it may be some gang culture, of some color, Black, White or in between; and it is, assuredly, Islamic Jihad, as well. Ms. Webbe's heated characterization of Tony Blair's words, as well as the title of her article:

"A kick in the teeth"

is about one micro-enth, or less, of the intensity of my feelings, and the feelings of many others, about Islamic terrorism - as well as gang violence.

It is the deniers that allow the holocaust of whatever measure. Ms. Webbe asserts in the sub-heading of her article:

"The black community carries no blame for the violent crime that afflicts it - no matter what the prime minister says."

I, of course, have no first hand knowledge of gang culture in London. I do have a keen sense of words, however, and in hers I find no denial of the gang members, of which Blair spoke, being Black.

It's not about race or color, it's about crimes against humanity.

Iran lies, what else is new?

According to reports this morning, some Iranians are calling for the execution of the 15 British sailors, including the woman Faye Turney. Yesterday Iran let the world believe she would be released today, after her 'confession' via video and letter to her family. Seems they have changed their mind today. Reuters is reporting her release has been "suspended".

Tony Blair has asked for a condemnation from the United Nations, an official statement denouncing Iran's actions since the crew were working under a UN mandate in the Gulf. I'm sure Iran is shaking in their boots over that one, from laughing, not from fear. (BBC)

The UK has the released GPS evidence, which plainly shows the sailors were in Iraqi waters. Tony Blair is saying the UK is not seeking a confrontation, but the footage of Faye Turney and the others on Iranian TV was wrong in terms of "basic humanity".

Oil prices are up as the world is in a wait-and-see mode. What will the Brits do, what will Iran do, will the United States back Tony Blair if he decides to take action ... One report says brent crude was off 30 cents at $65.48, while US light, sweet crude oil was trading at $63.64, down 44 cents.'

Oil prices jumped by 8% to $68 a barrel - a six-month high - on Tuesday, on speculation that the West and Iran would come to blows militarily - something which was swiftly denied by the US.

So far, there has been no disruption to Iran's daily shipments of around 2.2 million barrels. (BBC)

Is this an act of war as some are saying?

... needs to be seen as another blatant “act of war” against the United States. This time, the mullahs’ target was the United Kingdom, America’s closest ally in the war against terrorism. This was a calculated act by Iran...

This is the same tactic Hezbollah and Hamas, acting under the guidance of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, have used against Israel for years to obtain the release of terrorists. The question is: What are we going to do about it? (Peace and Freedom)

Does Iran believe we, the West, are incapable of responding to their aggression? Peace and Freedom reminds us of November 1979:

I recommended to the then-acting chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Adm. Tom Hayward, that our only good option really was to capture Kharg Island, Iran’s principal oil export depot. If we did this, we could negotiate from a position of strength for the immediate return of our embassy and our diplomats. Unfortunately, the Carter administration rejected any offensive operations as a means of responding to this blatant act of war against the United States. We were humiliated and seemed to the world to lack the courage to defend our honor. [snip]

the Joint Chiefs of Staff need to develop or refine a series of military options that can be immediately carried out when directed by the commander in chief, President Bush after coordination with Prime Minister Tony Blair.

One such option should be the capture of Kharg Island. That could be viewed as part of a larger economic sanction that the U.N. Security Council has already endorsed. It is not an attack against the Iranian people. In fact, it could further encourage the popular antigovernment movement against the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s corrupt and already shaky regime. The economic cost to Iran would be catastrophic at minimum.

Most of all, such a move would end almost 30 years of our Iranian appeasement policy, demonstrating to Tehran we finally mean business.

The Jerusalem Post is reporting Iran's top negotiator Ali Larjani said that "British leaders have miscalculated this issue." Also this interesting tidbit, ' the Iranian consul in Basra alleged that British soldiers had surrounded his office in the southern city and fired shots into the air.'

Iranian Consul-General Mohammed Ridha Nasir Baghban said British forces had engaged in a "provocative act" that "could worsen the situation of the British sailors."
