ONLY 57 Communists?  Good Grief! 

If Joe McCarthy was alive today, and engaged in the same investigation, there’s a pretty good chance he’d have to use a set of hand trucks, or a dolly, to roll the current list of suspected communists, plus the socialists and Marxists working for, employed by, or otherwise involved with the US government.

We must remember, dear reader, that was 1950.  It was early in the socialist movement in the American mainstream media, which would, as time passed, become so strong it would sanitize the socialist/marxist/communist movement to infiltrate the US government.  Today that movement controls, approximately, half of the three branches of the current US government.

If the American citizen of today were as smart -- and as well educated -- as the Americans of the 1950’s we would be storming the US seat of government demanding a purge of our government and a return to a constitution centered government, the legacy of this nation’s founders, which has now been discarded in favor of a socialist agenda with the ultimate goal of creating a socialist/marxist/communist government in which the state controls American’s lives from the cradle to the grave –and – presumes to replace God with the state as the object of citizen’s worship.

If you doubt this, notice how the American mainstream media has assumed the position of Praetorian Guard to the Obama Administration -- itself riddled with socialists and Marxists. In fact, many conservative commentators are convinced that Obama, himself, is a socialist. Some even go so far as to accuse him of actually being a communist.

Not today.  Today, with political correctness squeezing the life out of truth, even McCarthy’s name is a dirty word.  But that is what political correctness does.  It stifles truth.  It slams the brakes on any discussion of whether or not Senator McCarthy was right – or not. It makes certain a public discussion of whether the US government is held captive by communists, socialists, and Marxists is, in fact, true – or not darn near impossible.

Political correctness is an oft-used tool to MISLEAD the public, as well. Was Joe McCarthy all the terrible and evil things we are told … or have we been mislead?  Political correctness is the tool wielded by the left to make darn sure the other side is never, ever, heard.

In modern America, we embrace socialism, Marxism, and communism. McCarthy saw it as the threat to America that it was in the 1950’s and as it is today.  It is a cancer eating away at America’s soul.  It is terminal.  It WILL kill America.

And there is NOBODY standing tall and pointing out to Americans the evil disease rotting our nation from within.

Unfortunately, Americans bought into the propaganda from the left concerning the “evil” McCarthy.  Believing it themselves, they became zealous in disseminating it to the masses.

But the truth has a way of surviving just about everything.  Now we know from information gathered from studies of old Soviet files in Moscow and the famous Vanona Intercepts -- FBI recordings of Soviet embassy communications between 1944-48 – the actual record of that period in American history is proving that McCarthy was essentially right.

Would it even be possible to create an Un-American Activities Committee today in either the US House of Representatives or the US Senate? The answer is an emphatic – NO!

Another question:  Would the American people support such an effort?  Here is the most telling answer of all – NO!

America does not want the truth because we are no longer capable of handling the truth.

And so we perish -- at our own hand.

Can President Obama be defeated in
2012?  No.  He can’t.    I am going on record
as saying that President Barak Obama will win a
second term.  The media won’t tell you this
because a good election campaign means hundreds
of millions (or in Obama’s case billions) of
dollars to them in advertising.  But the truth
is, there simply are no conditions under which
Barak Obama can be defeated in 2012.

The quality of the Republican candidate
doesn’t matter.  Obama gets reelected.  Nine
percent unemployment?  No problem.  Obama will
win.  Gas prices moving toward five dollars a
gallon?  He still wins.  The economy soars or
goes into the gutter.  Obama wins.  War in the
Middle East?  He wins a second
term.  America’s role as the leading
Superpower disappears?  Hurrah for Barak
Obama!  The U.S. government rushes toward
bankruptcy, the dollar continues to sink on
world markets and the price of daily goods and
services soars due to inflation fueled by
Obama’s extraordinary deficit spending?  Obama wins handily.

You are crazy Williams.  Don.t you understand
how volatile politics can be when overall
economic, government, and world conditions are
declining?  Sure I do.  And that’s why I know
Obama will win.  The American people are
notoriously ignorant of economics.  And
economics is the key to why Obama should be
defeated.  Even when Obam’s policies lead the
nation to final ruin, the majority of the
American people are going to believe the
bait-and-switch tactics Obama and his supporters
in the media will use to explain why it is not
his fault.  After all, things were much worse
than understood when he took office.

Obama’s reelection is really a very, very
simple math problem.  Consider the
following:  1) Blacks will vote for Obama
blindly.  Period.  Does not matter what he
does.  It’s a race thing.  He’s one of
us,  2) College educated women will vote for
Obama.  Though they will be offended by this,
they swoon at his oratory.  It’s really not
more complex than that, 3) Liberals will vote
for Obama.  He is their great hope,  4)
Democrats will vote for Obama.  He is the leader
of their party and his coattails will carry them
to victory nationwide,  5) Hispanics will vote
for Obama.  He is the path to citizenship for
those who are illegal and Hispanic leaders
recognize the political clout they carry in the
Democratic Party, 6) Union members will vote
overwhelmingly for Obama.  He is their key to
money and power in business, state and local
politics, 7) Big Business will support
Obama.  They already have.  He has almost $1
Billion dollars in his reelection purse gained
largely from his connections with Big Business
and is gaining more everyday.  Big Business
loves Obama because he gives them access to
taxpayer money so long as they support his
social and political agenda, 8) The media love
him.  They may attack the people who work for
him, but they love him.  After all, to not love
him would be racist, 9) Most other minorities
and special interest groups will vote for
him.  Oddly, the overwhelming majority of Jews
and Muslims will support him because they
won’t vote Republican.  American Indians will
support him.  Obviously homosexuals tend to vote
Democratic.  And lastly, 10) Approximately half
of independents will vote for Obama.  And he
doesn’t need anywhere near that number because
he has all of the groups previously
mentioned.  The President will win an

Just when you think you’ve heard the craziest comments ever …

Speaking to public sector workers in Madison, Wisconsin last week liberal film maker Michael Moore made this statement: “America is not broke. Not by a long shot. The country is awash in wealth and cash.”

Michael Moore is an interesting study in contradiction. He’s made a career of trashing his country, and made a fortune doing so under the same capitalistic economic system he so bitterly criticizes and tries so hard to discredit. Question: Does a successful capitalist have any credibility at all trashing capitalism?

Normally, no, but that doesn’t stop Mr. Moore, who is upset that the country’s wealth and cash is controlled by those to whom it belongs. He believes that all money, assets, and resources should belong to the government, and that it should be run by liberal elites, who know better than everyone else how things should be done.

However, even those who suffer grand delusions like Michael Moore stumble into a truth once in a while. After about two minutes of fantasizing, he said something that is absolutely true: “I have nothing more than a high school degree,” he said. “But back when I was in school, every student had to take one semester of economics in order to graduate. And here's what I learned: Money doesn't grow on trees. It grows when we make things.”

Aside from the incorrect assertion that completing high school gives one a degree, he is correct about one thing: in this country people who make things, design things, sell things, fix things and indulge in other productive activities earn money for their work and use that money to buy things they need and want. It’s the American way, and Michael Moore is a pretty good example of how an individual can succeed in the capitalistic economy of the US by providing people something that they want.

However, after stating that one economic truth, he veered away from sound economic theory into a diatribe that might have been written by Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin or Fidel Castro. Maybe another semester or two of economics would have helped.

Mr. Moore’s ideas are fundamentally un-American. Not only does he believe that the money Americans earn by going to work every day ought to belong to government, not to the individual that earned it, but he also believes that if the government actually did control all the wealth in America, we could spend as much as we want to and our $3.7 trillion budget really wouldn’t be a problem, because the country has the assets to cover it.

Clearly, contrary to what he told the government workers in Madison, Michael Moore really does believe money grows on trees.

But some have their feet on the ground. On his Website, “iowahawke,” David Burge dissects the US economy in an article titled “Feed Your Family on $10 Billion a Day,” which is roughly what you get when you divide our $3.7 trillion budget by 365 days a year.

Mr. Burge looks into the economy to find enough wealth and cash to pay for the insane level of spending in modern budgets. He immediately takes the profits of the two largest corporations in the United States, ExxonMobile and Wal-Mart, $34 billion, which doesn’t go very far. He then takes the profits from the other 498 companies of the Fortune 500, adding another $357 billion, which together with the previously confiscated $34 billion is enough money to get us all the way to … 2:00 a.m. on February 9th.

Continuing through the year, he confiscates billions more from such sources as Star Wars movies and products, professional athletes and sporting events, funding for the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, foreign aid payments, billionaires and everyone else making $250,000 a year or more. After confiscating all of the profits, salaries and assets … all of the wealth in America, he manages to find enough money to cover all the spending by midnight on December 31st.

Success!

Ah, but then we come to 2012, when President Barack Obama proposes to spend another $3.6 trillion, and all the wealth and cash that could offset that gargantuan fiscal irresponsibility has already been confiscated by the government and used to pay for last year’s spending; it no longer exists. We are broke.

Mr. Moore’s idea of economics is fantasy.

Michael Moore is among those who truly believe the earnings of all who participate in the capitalistic economic system of the United States should belong to the government. Fine. They need to become good role models and show us the way by turning over their wealth to the Treasury Department where they believe it rightfully belongs. Put up, or shut up.

Neither of those things is likely to occur, of course, because as is so readily evident, folks like Michael Moore think that they are not only smarter than everyone else, but also think they don’t have to play by the same rules they expect everyone else to play by. And they will never stop telling the rest of us that they know better than we how we should live our lives.

The Barbarians Within America

How many times have you heard someone say that when liberals are out of power their antics are funny …  but when they are in power they are dangerous?  My guess is you have heard it many times.  Most of us are quite familiar with it, in fact.

Today America is living the nightmare … disguised by the Left as the American dream.

“In the end, more than freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all – security, comfort, and freedom. When the Athenians finally wanted not to give to society but for society to give to them, when the freedom they wished for most was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free and was never free again.”

Mr. Gibbon could easily have been describing modern day America rather than ancient Athens.  America’s coffers are empty largely to provide Americans a comfortable life.  And, just lie the Athenians, we are losing everything, our security, our comfort, and most important, our FREEDOM. 

We have a government ruled by those barbarians America used to laugh at.  And they are solidifying and tightening their grasp on the throat of America’s freedom squeezing it out of existence. Viewing the constitution as nothing more than a speed bump, they are determined to drag America from the pinnacle to the cesspool -- and they are enjoying great success in their strivings!

In a recent commentary I noted how the peoples of a number of states have become so alarmed at the Obama government that they are harkening back to their rights as sovereign states and employing state nullification laws to countermand federal mandates intended to yoke them with federal laws to which they disagree and find overbearing, and massive financial costs they cannot bear.

Thomas Jefferson, one of the founders of America, said the following:  “ Whenever the general government assumes undelegated powers, its acts are unauthoritative, void, and of no force.”  He was there at the birth of this nation, so he ought to know!

Thomas Paine, one of America’s great pamphleteers, author of “Common Sense,” and certainly one of the great rabble-rousers of all time -- and in many ways responsible for the American colonists’ revolution against Great Britain commented thusly: Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil; in its worse state, an intolerable one.”  No truer words were ever spoken. 

Alexis de Tocqueville (1805-1859), the renowned French historian, in writing about what we call today “Big Government” said the following: “It covers the surface of society with a network of small, complicated rules, minute and uniform, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate, to rise above the crowd. The will of man is not shattered, but softened, bent, and guided; men seldom forced by it to act, but they are constantly restrained from acting. Such a power does not destroy, but it prevents existence; it does not tyrannize, but it compresses, enervates, extinguishes, and stupefies a people, till each nation is reduced to nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd.”

After reading de Tocqueville’s words above your brain happens to form the words “OBAMACARE” on the TV screen of your mind… then you, sir/madam, GET IT! 

Today we have first-hand knowledge of the destruction out-of-control big government can levy on a nation – even the most powerful nation on the globe.  Americans are weighted down, yoked to government as oxen were once yoked to the plow. Heads down, shoulders hunched forward were are pulling the weight with the near debilitating knowledge that our efforts only make the yoke stronger and will, eventually, end in our demise.

"And now that the legislators and do-gooders have so futilely inflicted so many systems upon society, may they finally end where they should have begun: May they reject all systems, and try liberty; for liberty is an acknowledgment of faith in God and His works.”  Thus wrote Frederic Bastiat a French economist, statesman, and author in the 1800’s.

Freedom is slowly being crushed in America.  As an American, now in my seventh decade of living in America, I can tell you, with no hesitation at all, that I am not nearly as free as I was only a decade or two ago. Freedom, once lost, is nigh impossible to regain.  That’s why free peoples should fight every attempt to take from them even the smallest and seemingly least important freedom.

The man who has done more to diminish America and set her on a course to becoming another third-world dung heap is now asking Americans to give him four more years in which to complete the job.

I remain convinced nothing short of divine intervention can halt the wholesale destruction of a free America led by Barack Hussein Obama.

America’s Tribulations Have Only Just Begun

Obama is preparing to announce his campaign for a second term as the President of the United States. And he WILL WIN!

Why?

Because the Republican Party has no one with a snowball’s chance in Hades of wining against the tsunami of leftist, socialist, Marxist, communist, liberal, progressive, and just plain “dumb” voters who are set to flood the polling places across America to insure Obama’s reelection.

It is a crying shame the GOP has lost its will to fight.  The blue bloods and the country club set, within the Republican Party, had emasculated the fighting spirit of the GOP even before the Tea Party, in disgust, all but split off to form an “ex-officio” political party within the Republican Party.

Sadly, it looks as though the Tea Party’s influence on the GOP has not been strong enough to break the party’s death wish.  In our opinion, the Republican Party is about to go the way of the “Whigs.”

As of today, I am as certain that Obama will win in 2012, as I am that the sun will rise tomorrow morning.

Honestly, if I am right, and that happens, I do not see America surviving as a constitutional republic more that a decade, maybe two. At the most, Obama’s victory will prove to the world that America has made her choice to forsake the constitution, and democracy and has decided, as a nation, to embrace Socialism, Marxism, and Communism and -- most importantly – God! 

Under the leadership of Obama, America has made giant strides toward destruction.  Obama’s forsaking of Israel has iniated a chain reaction of troubles for America, not just in the Middle East, but also around the globe.  America is only at the threshold of coming events that will shatter its very foundation and ultimately cause the union of American states to fracture and split apart for a second time in our history. 

Obama’s second term will hasten if not initiate the break-up of the 50 “united states” of America.

Why do I predict such a terrible thing?  Because I am convinced, through the study of history, of the world, and especially of America, that circumstances are now paralleling those of the nineteenth century – circumstances that can lead to nothing short of secession for the people of those states that still revere the US Constitution and -- more importantly – freedom.

Obama, in a second term, in which he does not have to worry about reelection, will bring ruin to America – plain and simple.

Regardless of what you read, see, and hear in the mainstream media of the US, the American people are in turmoil over the direction Obama and his henchmen are taking the US. Once the American people are fed up, they DO take action.  An Obama second term, I am convinced, will be the catalyst for the break-up of the formerly “United” States.

A number of states, all across the current Union are investigating their sovereignty and making efforts to reclaim their rightful place as a free and sovereign state (country) to which the federal government in Washington is answerable. 

Many states have learned that the federal government was established by the states to act as an agent of the states and to do the bidding of the states – not the way it is today with the federal government cracking the whip over the states which Washington considers fifty “precincts” of the federal government.

One good thing is coming of all this:  Those folks now investigating America’s history are beginning to have a great awakening to the real reasons why the states went to war with each other in the mid 1800’s.  Yes!  It WAS as the result of an OVERBEARING federal government.

You would be wrong to conclude that southern states, alone, are reestablishing their sovereignty.  No.  This thirst for freedom is sweeping the vast majority of the country.  Obama’s reelection will almost certainly spur the second secession movement into high gear and bring a period of tribulation to these shores as has not been seen since the early 1860’s.

And it IS going to happen.

The Republican Party is in a mess – to put it mildly!  We sent the GOP a spine in the last election and they are rejecting it in the manner a human body will sometimes reject a transplanted organ or limb.

Republicans: Do not be fooled.  There is not a single electable presidential candidate among the lot from which we are being told we must choose.  I include those announced, thinking about it, or “testing the waters.”  Some in the media are referring to the GOP field of candidates as “weak and fractured.”  I would add – hopeless!

You know, I can remember when we had a presidential election every four years.  Now, we have a presidential election… period.  It never ends!  Think the voters will get sick of elections soon?  Ah-Ha!  Now you are catching on!

Reelecting Obama will be akin to the act of tossing gasoline on a fire… a fire that will consume that great “shining city set on a hill” -- and burn it to the ground.
