Yesterday the Associated Baptist Press published an article by “Jim Wallis, a politically progressive evangelical,” who is also the CEO and editor in chief at the left-leaning, Sojourners. The article by Wallis demands that his readers and all Christians stop watching the Glenn Beck because “Beck denies the central teachings of Jesus and the Bible!”
I earned my Masters in Theology in 1999 and I watch Glenn Beck daily. I’ve never heard Beck deny the central teachings of Jesus and the Bible! It appears that the “progressive” Mr. Wallis is fabricating his charges against Beck out of sheer leftist desperation.
Anyone who has ever bothered to honestly research the origins of the concept of “social justice,” as taught within most mainline and some evangelical denominations of the Christian church, understands that that it is closely tied to Marxist Liberation Theology. It is a concept that has little to do with Christian charity or justice and everything to do with radical leftist revolutionary political change.
Make no mistake; Glenn Beck is absolutely correct in stating that “social justice” is a code word" for communism and Nazism.
Three years ago I wrote, Obama’s Marxist Liberation Theology Church. In that article, which I strongly suggest that you read, I’ve quoted from James H. Cone, one of the primary authors of Black Liberation Theology. Additionally I’ve summarized and provided a link to an excellent overview of the grave dangers of Liberation Theology written in 1984 by Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger (Pope Benedict XVI).
Once you’ve read this short article and the provided links you’ll have no doubt as to who is telling the truth.

ReplyDeleteThe so-called "christians" that attack Glenn and any other conservative for that matter, are what I call Xians. They are the XMAS types and worship a deity called "jesus the homosexual abortionist", a construct of their political wants and desires for support from above. Their fondest desires rotate on legal abortion at all stages of pregnancy and their only other solution to unwanted pregnancy is homosexuality.

ReplyDeleteWallis and other so called Christian theologians are the same one who teach Pluralism, Diversity, and Inclusion, the downfall of many nations before us and it will be the downfall of this country unless it is stopped. It is the universal theme of leftist and those who seek a one world government and one world religion. They fail to understand that there is a consequence for sin. Their teaching is inclusive, God is love, therefore He would not allow anyone to go to Hell. All roads lead to heaven regardless of what god you worship.

ReplyDeleteIn his last defense of his blasphemous stance, Glenn Beck equated Jesus, with Buddhs. He follows the apostate, Joesph Smith. He misleads the faithful. We must stop listening to him and pray for his and Obama repentance. He is no friend of Jesus and Christians should not support him.
ReplyDeleteThe reason, as the last commentary stated, for some Christians to challenge Glenn Beck and demand folks not listen to him, is because he is Mormon. I don't listen to Glenn Beck for theological reasons. I could care less if he is Mormon. My reason for listening to him, or watching his show, is for political food, and therefore I will continue to listen to him - as for his Mormonism, I can only pray for him and hope he sees the light in regards to Christ. I do not believe, however, that much of the evangelicals are leftists - I believe that many leftist Christians call themselves evangelical.

ReplyDeleteWhat I don't understand is why use the Bible against Abortion and against gays, which neither are hardly mentioned, but leave the government out of helping the poor. Which way is it, Glenn?
ReplyDeleteMt. 19:20 The young man said to Him, "All these commands I have kept; what am I still lacking?" Jesus said to him, "If you wish to be complete, go and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me." And that's just ONE of a lot on helping the poor. Doesn't have any 'if's'

ReplyDeleteThe part of this story you missed is that the rich man went away without donating and was sad because of his great treasures and his inability to follow. Jesus did not force him to pay (taxes) to help the poor. That is the difference between Marxism (Communism) and Christianity.
Also, homosexuality and abortion are mentioned often in words used by the writers of the day.
