Suffer the Little Children at Maxham Elementary

Cross Maxham Elementary School

Public school suspends little boy for drawing Jesus on the cross after being asked to make a Christmas drawing!!!

The irony that has escaped the ignorant eyes of those Godless fools at Maxham Elementary public school is that an 8-year old “special needs” boy actually got the true meaning of Christmas: That God sent His only son into this world to die on the cross for our sins, and that we, too, must die to this world as Christians!

I hope that this remarkable drawing by Chester Johnson’s little son will take the Internet by storm as the best piece of art for the Christmas season!

TAUNTON, Mass. (AP) - An 8-year-old boy was sent home from school and ordered to undergo a psychological evaluation after he was asked to make a Christmas drawing and came up with what appeared to be a stick figure of Jesus on a cross, the child's father said Tuesday.

Chester Johnson told WBZ-TV that his son made the drawing on Dec. 2 after his second-grade teacher asked children to sketch something that reminded them of the holiday.

According to the Tauton Gazette:

The father said he got a call earlier this month from Maxham Elementary School informing him that his son, a second-grade student, had created a violent drawing. The image in question depicted a crucified Jesus with Xs covering his eyes to signify that he had died on the cross. The boy wrote his name above the cross.

“As far as I’m concerned, they’re violating his religion,” the incredulous father said.

He requested that his name and his son’s name be withheld from publication to protect the boy.

According to LifeSiteNews.com

The boy and his family had recently gone to see a Christmas display at the National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette, a Catholic retreat center in Attleboro.

Toni Saunders, an educational consultant with the Associated Advocacy Center who is working with the boy and his parents, told the Taunton Gazette, "I think what happened is that because he put Xs in the eyes of Jesus, the teacher was alarmed and they told the parents they thought it was violent. They weren't looking at the fact that this is an 8-year-old child with special needs."

"They made him leave school, and they recommended that a psychiatrist do an evaluation," Saunders said. "When I got that call, I was so appalled that I had to do something," she added.

Maxham School principal Rebecca Couet refused to comment to the media about the event and referred all questions to the superintendent's office.

Superintendent Julie Hackett told the Taunton Gazette that district policy prevents her from discussing a "confidential matter regarding a student." . . .

Contact Maxham Elementary School with your opinion and a reminder that Godless Leftist Privilege has come to an end, and that sensitivity training must be required of these idiots who have attempted to persecute this little boy for his Christian faith!

Mark 10:15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. 16 And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.

Mt 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

  1. "And a little child shall lead them..."

The drawing by the child indeed resonates the real meaning of the manger. Without the cross, our celebration would be moot.

Yet, there is more to the story.

Jesus told his disciples, "Behold I go to prepare a place for you, that where I am, you may be also."

    Then later....

As the disciples stood gazing into the heavens, two men [dressed] in white robes suddenly stood beside them and said,"This same Jesus, Who was caught away and lifted up from among you into heaven, will return in [just] the same way in which you saw Him go into heaven."(Acts 1:10-11)

Behind all our celebration of the birth of Jesus, with the manger scene it would all become meaningless without the cross and the promise of His return. It is in the promise and knowing that He will return that makes this season, a season for celebration.

As Paul Harvey would say,"Now you know the rest of the story"

  2. I am not a Christian, but know exactly what this child was attempting to say. This is PC and anti-Christian thought in full force. This a prime example of what the universities are graduating!
