Keeping Racism Alive by Eradicating White Privilege

“Our goal is neither to defy or denigrate Whiteness, but to diffuse its destructive power.”
(White Privilege Conference, April 18-21, 2007)
“A yearly opportunity to examine and explore difficult issues related to white privilege, white supremacy and oppression.”
(White Privilege Conference, April 18-21, 2007)
This excerpt is from Wizbang
How would you feel if you were told that your high school aged child was being forced to attend a White Privilege Conference? Your first reaction might be to ask "what is a White Privilege Conference?" In brief, it's an indoctrination camp:
&
White people, you're privileged, and guilty, guilty, guilty of oppressing disadvantaged minorities. Denial only makes things worse.
&
This is the message currently emanating from the Seattle School District. Never mind that this dubious construct undercuts needed emphasis on minority student achievement. . .

Last week was a tremendous week for the Race-card Industry – both good and bad. Don Imus spewed his last bit of racist shock-jock venom and got fired, and the Duke lacrosse players were finally declared innocent.
&
What a comparison and contrast last week revealed! Interestingly enough, both issues involved university sports teams. I’ll leave speculation about that connection to the pop psychologists. On the other hand, we have two-way racism when comparing these cases. Don Imus, an aged White liberal male disparaging Black women contrasted against the rich, young, White, male, Duke lacross victims of a Black female false accuser, Crystal Gayle Mangum, and her liberal race-card industry accomplices.
&

They couldn’t have dreamed this up in Hollywood! Of course, they wouldn’t have touched this in Hollywood either!
&
Will the Imus story ever cool down? Not quite yet and perhaps that’s good as the MSM continues to promote a national dialog on racism. Imus, after all, was a media darling (especially to the left) and when he crossed the line by making blatant racist and sexist remarks about the Rutgers' womens basketball team, he had to be removed from his radio throne by those who usually looked the other way. I rather suspect that if he had been a conservative darling, the liberal outrage would not have been as great. It's in the liberal game plan to promote the notion that all conservatives are racists. Hypocrisy, after all, is the thin veil worn by many liberals and pandering to minorities the notion of “eternal victimization” is the race-card end-game.
&
Back to the real victims – the three “White Privileged” Duke lacrosse players. Will district attorney, Mike Nifong, face displinary hearings, be disbarred, or face criminal charges? He should! He should be held to the highest standards of accountability.
&
Will the MSM ever use the name of the criminal accuser, Crystal Gayle Mangum? They must stop shielding her because she appears to be mentally unbalanced. She should face criminal charges as well. But that’s doubtful because of the MSM pressure to go lightly on certain segments of the population.
&

If mental instability is the new guideline for whether or not criminal charges are pressed, we can empty all of the jails today!!!
&

If you happened to catch Michelle Malkin when she subbed last week for The O'Reilly Factor, that was quite a show! Here’s what Malkin said:
&
. . .Malik Shabazz, leader of the "New Black Panther Party," refuses to apologize for lynching the innocent Duke lacrosse players--and then proceeds to call me a "political prostitute" and mouthpiece for whites. Like I haven't heard that a half-million times before. (The Left's whore fixation continues. See also: The vile bile we have to put up with.) . . .
*******************************************************************************************
&
So Shabazz and his ilk are not going to let truth stand in the way of their race-baiting road to fame, power, and control. It could work for the New Black Panthers if, and only if, they can convince enough Blacks that they are the “eternal victims” of Whites. Hitler played that game quite well against the Jews.
&
Is the Race-card Industry dying a slow death? Hardly! It’s just becoming far more entrenched.
Here’s an excerpt from Vincent Carroll’s article Whitewash.
&
. . .Yes, it’s time again for the annual White Privilege Conference, which is hosted this year by the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, and whose sponsors include the University of Denver’s Center for Judaic Studies and the Southern Poverty Law Center, among other groups. No self-respecting progressive will want to miss it. . .
&
You won’t want to miss the keynote speeches, either.
&

For example, Paula Rothenberg will address the “struggle over victimhood.” More specifically, according to the conference guide, she’ll explore “What is at stake in the struggle over who can claim victim status as we carry out a conversation about white privilege.” . . .
&
Most white guys past their prime don’t talk like Imus and have no desire to, and now Imus himself has been fired. His sole enduring legacy, unfortunately, is to feed the victimhood lobby, in all of its multiplying forms, with more grist for their destructive mills.

The Seattle School District is sending students to a 'white privilege' conference The diversity gathering in Colorado will highlight "the destructive power" of whiteness and empower students to tackle "oppression."

The annual "White Privilege Conference #8"—yes, there've been seven already—is underway in a couple weeks' time in Colorado. And you better make reservations soon because, incredibly, the Colorado Springs Sheraton is fully booked!
&
. . .the goal of the gathering is to make people more aware of the "negative historical implications of 'Whiteness,'" to "difuse [sic] the destructive power" of whiteness, and to encourage students to become "champions" of social justice and change.

But, what happens to the Race-card Industry when most of America becomes a mix of many mixed races??? Is time running out for Racism???
&
&
. . .the number of interracial marriages has soared; for example, black-white marriages increased from 65,000 in 1970 to 422,000 in 2005, according to Census Bureau figures. Factoring in all racial combinations, Stanford University sociologist Michael Rosenfeld calculates that more than 7 percent of America's 59 million married couples in 2005 were interracial, compared to less than 2 percent in 1970.
&
No, sadly, the Race-card Industry won’t die. It will continually transform. The Race-card Industry is just another name for the Hate-card Industry. Since the beginning of time all despots and their mindless minions have always attempted to engender hate, foster national divisions, and to create willing victims.
&
The last thing any hate-card player wants is to create the notion of national unity!
&
There will always be a market for the creation of new victims and their supposed oppressors.
&
The best guess is that religious freedom will be the next target. We are already seeing the beginnings of the creation of the American Islamic Victims Card, and along with that will come new concessions and special privileges.
&
Here’s a point that needs to be made again, again, and again. We can’t choose our race or ethnic background. In most cases, we can’t choose or change our gender, at least until we are over the age of consent. In matters where humans have no control, the continued dialogue of how to eradicate racism is a noble pursuit.
&
Just about everything else that defines us, however, is a behavioral choice. In America we are free to choose our religion; we are not condemned to remain forever practicing our father’s religion. Like religion, we are free to choose our political parties. Choice of religion and political affiliation is every American’s right. Along with that freedom of choice is the freedom to compare, to contrast, and to criticize the differences among religions and political parties.
&
But what if a religion or a political party threatens the sovereignty and security of a nation? Are we American’s are free to condemn that religion or party?
&
The fastest growing religion in the world is Islam. Islam, although heavily populated and defined by Mid-eastern cultures, is not confined to a particular race or ethnic background. Anyone can become a Muslim regardless of race, culture, or ethnicity.
&
It is very important when discussing the dangers of the Islamists in their attempts to politicize and undermine the religion of Islam, that we never attack the ethnic groups and cultures that are heavily Islamic. Additionally, it is important to maintain the separation between religion and government, so that special privileges are not afforded to any religion, movement, or political organization – especially those political ideologies that are merely masquerading as a culturally-defined religion in need of special privileges.
&
This is why it is absolutely imperative that America must come to terms with defining what is and is not a religion.

  1. But of course it's not about "white priviledge" at all but about insuring that rights are fully converted into priviledges which can then be licensed, restricted or denied by ther State. It's the goal of the new racists who want nothing so much as eradicating equal rights.

  2. That's just sick. In 2007 the United States should not have crap like this going on, I thought we had moved beyond this sort of thing.

What if we started having "Black Racist Conferences", morons like Malik Shabazz would go into convulsions.

Just listening to him, one knows that he is full of hatred.

I'm off to vote at RCP

  4. What a post! Wow! We with white skin and ambition be bad, we be very bad! So let's stop inventing vaccines, et al. Then we'll be considered really bad.

Ah, slavery thy name is racism - to inslave the white skinned folks who are the ones who got rid of slavery.

I want to post on this but just haven't gotten to it:

When is a person black and when is he white? Obama is half-and-half. He was reared by his white mother in very good means in Indonesia I think and by his white grandparents. How can he even identify with the so-called "Black" experience in America? And how come he isn't white? I mean, he is 50-50?

Let's make sure he remains in the Senate at the very most.

  5. Based on the color of my skin I’m guilty of slavery. My family, not the people I look like, but my family had nine members fought in the civil war only five came back. Still the Rev Sharpton ( What church does he hold sermons at?) and Jackson say I may not be guilty of slavery but I should feel bad.
Here’s the kicker….. I nor any white person ever got a f***ing THANK YOU for the sacrifices made by us. You know it was the bloodiest war ever fought on American soil, it was white on white, but the white man did nothing for blacks…… Isn’t that funny?

Any time a person of color tells you that you need to feel bad about slavery you let them know they are direct descendants of Treasonist turn coats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
During the revolutionary war the British went down south and said if any slave fought for one year they would be granted freedom…. Blacks turned out in droves. Thousands of slaves went and fought AGAINST the Americans. THAT’S TREASON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know, I know they were fighting for their freedom so that excuses the crime. Wrong… in every country through out time up till today no one excuses Treason…… There is not excuse

Some people will say well America wasn’t a country at the time…. We didn’t become a country until 1782. Well that great but every American accepts 1776 as our birth of a nation. So any crimes against America starting form July 4,1776 is a crime against America …… Including Treason.

Whites who fought against slavery, those who made it a crime to have slaves should fell bad about something that was COMPLETELY LEGAL until whites changed that, but blacks are not guilty of Treason, an act that is still punishable by death. Why? Blacks may feel bad? Oh no… the ONLY people who say all the time whites should feel bad……. We can’t have those people feel bad about THEIR indiscretions. That would be wrong….. Matter of fact many may call me a racist for pointing out the truth.

REMEMBER whites this is for when you are told to feel bad about slavery. It is not an argument to make blacks feel bad.

We ALL need to stop letting the media divide us along color lines. We need solidarity so we can fight the ones separating us.

A few moons ago the powers that be gave control of two piers along the west side of Manhattan…. Every New Yorker stood up together regardless of race, creed, or color and said WE WILL NOT HAVE THIS. The next day that came to a screeching halt. Proving to me that the power of the American people was still strong.
That is my dream… The power of the American people.

When we all stand up and tell Them (powers that be) WE will not have this anymore. I know as you and They know it will truly be a new day.

    Here’s your war cry -----------
THIS IS A NEW DAY AND WE WILL NOT BE DEVIDED ANY MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. Some people like to denigrate others to make themselves feel better and more powerful.(I really think it is about poor self esteem and other unaddressed mental health issues.) It's racist in itself ,a show of profound character weakness and a demonstration of how constantly holding a grudge can get you nowhere. As an unabashed white man I know that other people like me who think can see the dictatorial intent in forcing white students to attend indoctrination on how bad they think it is to be white. This sort of behavior only perpetuates racism and seperatism and demonstrates deep-rooted, mean hypocrisy.

  7. The Profile of Terror

Do you know what the Jihadists, the Muslim extremist and the Klansman have in common? They are all people that are left behind. They lag so far behind that they are cut from the rest of humanity. They lost their ability as human beings to tap into the higher levels of awareness where they can express love and compassion for other human beings. In another word, they are cut off from humanity. The difference between them and the tribes living naked in the Amazon jungle and the naked tribes that live in the jungle of Africa is that the latter have accepted their way of life and they have not. They refuse to be denied and ignored. They want to be acknowledged. They are like a dying star. They won’t go out without a bang. I feel sad when I watch the Discovery channel showing human beings in our present stage of development still living like animals. They are stuck, freezing up mentally at a child age of development; living for food and reproduction, totally oblivious to the outside world. I was still further amazed and also sadden to watch the same undeveloped human beings with similar stage of development in another part of the world. I was watching on television a Jihadist giving this answer to a journalist. I was amazed at the almost child like answer given by this grown man. He said: “I would have killed you if were not for all these people present” and when ask why; he said that: just because the journalist was a Westerner”. I was taken back by the ease he gave his answer to the journalist. This scene frighten me and sadden me at the same time to see a human being reduced to such simplistic level; totally oblivious to his connection to the rest of humanity. Here is the hard cold fact that people refuse to accept but cannot ignore that in this world there are only two types of people. They are those that are moving forward in the future with Christ and those who want to stay put, moving backward with the devil. Those who want to move forward with Christ have embraced their humanity and are capable of showing love and compassion for other human beings. But those that are lagging behind are moving backward, regressing into the past with the devil. They are cut off from the rest of humanity. Their consciousness cannot rise to the level where love operates. They are afraid of becoming irrelevant. They don’t want their existence to be denied. Since they are not isolated like the people living in the jungle in the Amazon and in Africa; they are constantly been reminded of their condition. Those of us that are moving forward become mirrors for them to see themselves. They are afraid of what they see. They are afraid of loosing their identity. They see the rest of the world as a treat to their existence. They see the loving and the compassion of the Christian world as something to get rid of. Contrary to them, the people living in the jungles have no one to tell tem that they are naked. They have no one to serve them as mirror to see themselves; they live their lives quietly and sadly behind.
“A man discovers himself in the midst of his fellow human beings.” Because we are intermingling with the Jihadists, the Muslim extremist and the Klansman, unlike the people of the jungle they are able to see themselves. We re the yard stick by which they measure their progress into the future. They are afraid of what they see. They want to get rid of us. This is a true interpretation of the mental and spiritual development of the Jihadists, the Muslim extremist and the Klansman. For them it is better to be an ass rather than be nothing at all. I believe that there certain things in the world only God can fix. I believe that God can fix them. “With his fan in his hand he shall separate the wheat from the shaft, but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire”

  8. Maybe Obama attended the WPC and learned that if anyone talks about a person of color or uses any term of color, then that person is automatically a racist. Everytime Hillary said anything, like 'one great thing Martin Luther King did was to help push the 1964 civil rights act,' Obama called her statement racist. Uhh, how? What really cracks me up is Obama saying he's not running a campaign based on race. Then, he goes firing off shots at anyone who says anything about race. Ferraro made a true statement about Obama and his campaign. Race is an issue in this campaign. And, oh no, can you beleive that some people will NOT vote for Obama just cause he's part black?! Oh, no, can you beleive some people WILL vote for Obama because he's part black. Now Obama and the extremists who run the WPC can call me a racist. Na na nanny boo boo !
