Dhimmitude report on Iran, the U.S., Canada

Cross posted from Right Truth

"A senior American commander in the Gulf has said his men would have fired on the Iranian Republican Guard rather than let themselves be taken hostage." Blue Star Chronicles asks why the 15 British sailors didn't fight.

Apparently, the British rules of engagement are even more restrictive than the American rules of engagement.
Yesterday, the former First Sea Lord, Admiral Sir Alan West, said British rules of engagement were “very much de-escalatory, because we don’t want wars starting … Rather than roaring into action and sinking everything in sight we try to step back and that, of course, is why our chaps were, in effect, able to be captured and taken away.”

I'm not so sure the American rules of engagement are any different. The Counterterrorism Blog points out that we can't even decide who is a terrorist group and who isn't. Also after all these years of Ahmadinejad's obvious terrorist acts, we can't decide how to deal with him now.

It is very possible that an Iranian response on US soil could be accomplished by Hezbollah.

And why would that be possible? Because we have allowed these Hezbollah groups to flourish here on American soil.

Tony Blair has warned Iran that it must find a solution for the return of fifteen British sailors taken hostage "within days." OK, if Iran does not return the 14 men and one woman to the Brits, what will Tony Blair do?

In Canada veiled women are now allowed to vote, wearing the niqab or burka or just a veil. How long before this might be allowed in the U.S. and how do election officials know if these women come back and vote again and again under different false I.D.'s? They don't.

In Missouri, NON-Muslim women are wearing the veil in solidarity with American Muslim women. Angel has the story here. Obviously these women have no idea how Islam views women, how Muslim women are treated in countries around the world. Or maybe they do and don't care.

Don't forget about Brooklyn's soon-to-be-established Khalil Gibran International Academy, an Arabic public school. Daniel Pipes says:

Arabic instruction is heavy with Islamist and Arabist overtones and demands. For one powerful first-hand example of this problem at the collegiate level, see "Middlebury's Arabic Morass" by Franck Salameh. For the heavy ideological freight that Arabic instruction carries, see "Does Learning Arabic Prevent Moral Decay?" where one learns that some Muslims believe "Knowledge of Arabic can then help the Western countries recover from the present moral decay." (This is not as surprising as it sounds, for Muslims commonly assume that a non-Muslim who learns Arabic is en route to conversion to Islam; I experienced this many times during my Cairo years.)

Therefore, such an Arabic-language school needs to be established under special scrutiny.

Dhimmis in Portland burned a soldier in effigy along with the US Flag, see video at Chickenhawk Express

Atlas Shrugs has an excellent report from Sandmonkey in Egypt. He reports about his personal experiences in the continuing crackdown in Egypt Pamela says, "Pathetic that this would happening as dhimmi Condi was visiting Mubarak."

The United American Committee has SIX rallies against Islamofascism/CAIR taking place across the U.S. next Saturday March 31. Rally updates at: http://www.unitedamericancommittee.org/rally.htm
You can listen to information about the rallies, Download and listen to the MP3: http://64.237.99.78/Petrilla_on_John_and_Ken_KFI_03_23_2007.mp3

Yid With Lid reports, " ... the Britons have been occupying the Islamic homeland of England for centuries. All the Iranians want is for Britain to get out of occupied England and return to the pre 347 CE borders." heh, a good read, go check it out.

"Perhaps we will need to resolve the war within the West before we can win the war against the West." Fjordman via Flanders Fields :

"Multiculturalism is wrong because not all cultures are equal. However, it is also championed by groups with a hidden agenda. Multiculturalism serves as a tool for ruling elites to fool people, to keep them from knowing that they have lost, or deliberately vacated, control over national borders. Leftists who dislike Western civilization use Multiculturalism to undermine it, a hate ideology disguised as tolerance. Multiculturalism equals the unilateral destruction of Western culture, the only unilateral action the West is allowed to take, according to some."
So what are we going to do? Sit back and let it happen, let America slide into the situation Europe is in, and that portions of Canada are in? I pray not.

I think that is a gross misrepresentation of what Mr. Cochran wrote.

In fact, the statement quoted above refers specifically to the MEK, a group clearly described as a rebel group working within Iran against the government...but which uses violent tactics to their ends.

So when you seamlessly blend a discussion of MEK with Ahmadinejad and then with Hezbollah, it clearly clouds the issue.
