According to the Boston Globe (umm hmm) Obama’s strong anti-war message was greeted with cheers from a youngish crowd of University of New Hampshire students (that’s spelled D-H-I-M-M-I-S).
"We are now in the midst of a war that never should have been authorized, never should have been waged," Obama told a crowd of close to 3,000 packed into the gymnasium at the University of New Hampshire. "Unless we bring that war to a close, we cannot deal with those other problems I just mentioned," such as education and healthcare, Obama added, his words nearly drowned out by the wild applause that followed his denouncement of the war.
Ok so let’s examine Obama’s Iraq war consensus plans, shall we?
1. Obama says that the war in Iraq never should have been authorized and never should have happened, and he has continued to hammer home the point that he was against the war in Iraq from the very start.
It’s all well and good to be a Monday morning quarterback Obama, (especially one who’s never played with the big boys), but Congress (that’s spelled C-O-N-G-R-E-S-S) authorized the war in Iraq over four years ago!
In October 2002, the Senate approved the Iraq war resolution 77-23, and earlier the House approved an identical resolution, 296-133.
The measure passed the Senate and House by wider margins than the 1991 resolution that empowered the current president's father to go to war to expel Iraq from Kuwait. . .
Obama’s Consensus Builder #1: The war was a disastrous mistake for which the Dhimmicrats take no responsibility, and we must pull out!
2. Although Obama has “no doubt that weapons are coming over from Iran into Iraq”, and that “Iran has a history of sponsoring terrorism and doing mischief,” he is “skeptical of reports by the Bush administration that Iran is helping to supply weapons to insurgents in Iraq”.
So basically, unless the names of the names of the American military officials who participated in this past weekend’s Baghdad briefing are revealed, Obama, like most of the Dhimmicrats, will remain skeptical. But, as we all know, it won’t matter how much evidence is eventually presented. Dhimmicrats are Dhimmicrats.
Today According to The Air Force Pundit, Thomas Harding, Defense Correspondent, UK Telegraph
Austrian sniper rifles that were exported to Iran have been discovered in the hands of Iraqi terrorists, The Daily Telegraph has learned . More than 100 of the .50 calibre weapons, capable of penetrating body armour, have been discovered by American troops during raids. The Steyr HS50 is a long range, high precision rifle. The gunds were part of a shipment of 800 rifles that the Austrian company, Steyr-Mannlicher, exported legally to Iran last year. . .The Foreign Office expressed “serious concerns” over the sale of the rifles last year and Britian protested to the Austrian government. . .
Obama and the Dhimmicrats will remain skeptical in the face of any evidence. Obama and the Dhimmicrats don’t want to see any evidence. Their minds are already made up. They just want out no matter what the cost to America’s security.
Consensus Builder #2: No amount of evidence of Iran’s involvement will ever be convincing to a Dhimmicrat.
3. Obama wants a “specific” plan from all candidates for ending the war in Iraq. Obama said that unless the war is brought to a close we cannot deal with education and healthcare. So without providing any details whatsoever, he spoke of the need to improve education and to provide healthcare to the uninsured.
Obama’s “specific” plan is very clear (as mud) in its lack of details. But, then, Dhimmi’s like charisma, men of little experience, and the constant roar of empty slogans, so it doesn’t matter.
Obama wants to pull our troops out of the war by March 2008, just ignore Iran, and concentrate on education and healthcare. He doesn’t really feel like it’s his responsibility to worry about repercussions. He’s playing the left’s bait and switch game. Like most of the left, Obama wants Bush to explain “how he plans to extricate American troops without setting off an even bigger war.”
No Obama, since you and the Dhimmicrats want to pull out, America wants you and the rest of the Dhimmicrats to explain how redeploy our troops from Iraq without setting off an even bigger war.
Obama’s Consensus Builder #3: Just ignore Iran and get the HELL out!
4. Obama says that his lack of experience is an asset. Well he’s getting some experience now! Don’t you just love his penchant for Orwellian Newspeak?
Exhibit A: Wasted American Lives
BARACK HUSSEIN JUST "REGRETS" GETTING CAUGHT
During his first press conference as a presidential candidate at Iowa State University, Obama, discussing his opposition to the Iraq war, said the war "should have never been authorized, and should have never been waged, and on which we've now spent $400 billion, and have seen over 3,000 lives of the bravest young Americans wasted.''
He immediately realized he made a mistake, he later told a reporter. Even the most severe war critics in Congress have been very careful to praise U.S. troops and say nothing that could upset mourning families.
Reaches out to families Obama, in an interview with the Des Moines Register right afterward, told the paper, ''I was actually upset with myself when I said that, because I never use that term,'' he said. ''Their sacrifices are never wasted. . . . What I meant to say was those sacrifices have not been honored by the same attention to strategy, diplomacy and honesty on the part of civilian leadership that would give them a clear mission." By Monday, reporters covering Obama making his first visit as a presidential candidate in New Hampshire, asked Obama, campaigning in a Nashua home, if military families deserved an apology. . .
Exhibit B: Bashing Our Australian Allies
The Prime Minister from Australia is not going to apologize for comments he made about Barack Obama. Kevin Rudd today moved a censure motion in Parliament against Mr. Howard for the comment he made. John Howard rejected Mr Rudd’s assertion and defended that his statement was a general criticism of the Democrats.
“If I was running al-Qaeda in Iraq, I would put a circle around March 2008 and pray, as many times as possible, for a victory not only for Obama, but also for the Democrats,” is what he told the Nine Network’s Sunday program.
Obama’s Consensus Builder #4: We can all learn to adapt to terrorism!
If you get a chance, email a note of thanks to Australian Prime Minister John Howard

I really like John Howard. He knows the situation in Australia and told the Muslims if they didn't want to fit in 'LEAVE'. Isn't what wonderful. Do you ever dream of an American politician saying that?
ReplyDeleteObama's comment about the lives of soldiers being 'wasted' was a big mistake, but I think the left will surely forget about that quickly. Not me.
Obama will never live down his Muslim past with those of us who refuse to give in and become dhimmis.
Debbie:
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. The left will quickly forget Obama’s remarks because they really don’t care about the soldiers. Obama is an early front runner, and in races those horses rarely win!
Great post FL!..I agree ..why didnt they issue a fatwa on him yet?..Hmmmmmmm
ReplyDeleteHappy V.Day!..hugzz!..lol..:)
