President pimps amnesty

Originally posted at Right Truth

The border fence will not be built. Amnesty, a/k/a guest worker program, will become a reality. The cheap labor businesses enjoy now will cease to exist because illegals will then be legal, "will make the same demands of their employers that American citizens would make". The result: "the unscrupulous employers will fire the newly emboldened alien employees and replace them with the next wave of illegal aliens who will pour across the borders of the United States." It's a vicious cycle.

And yet, President George W. Bush will peddle his amnesty scam in the State of the Union Speech tomorrow night. His message will be the same old line on illegal aliens and probably on just about everything else. I have been a Bush supporter, but I am very disappointed in him on immigration.

The answer is Americans need to fight against Bush's immigration plan with every thing we have AND get behind the presidential candidate that is anti-illegal aliens. My choice so far, Tom Tancredo.

The Bush administration has made it abundantly clear that even in the wake of the attacks of 9/11 our borders will be left wide open. Incredibly, the President has even recently called for an expansion of the dangerous Visa Waiver Program. And most recently, two Border Patrol agents were, in my humble opinion, railroaded directly into jail cells to send a message of intimidation to all Border Patrol agents.

Our nation's greedy employers are suffering from an addiction and our politicians are more than happy to be their suppliers. The addiction: Greed and the cheap and compliant labor that illegal aliens provide. Special interest groups that seek to swell their numbers and increase their political leverage are quick to do whatever they can to aid and abet the employers who exploit their own people; this is the ultimate squeeze play!

Illegal aliens are encouraged to flee the grinding poverty of their home countries by entering our country illegally. The leaders of their home countries are eager for their citizens to come here because they know that by exporting their citizens they export poverty. They also export the potential for insurrection because their citizens who generally run our borders are young, able-bodies (sic) men- (Michael Cutler, Family Security Matters)

Mr. Cutler points out that politicians were elected to represent us, but the goal of politicians is to stay in office, keep their jobs. By catering to these illegals, making them legal, they are hoping to gain votes in the future ... hoping to keep their own jobs. It's a sad situation.
