"The U.S. Military commander in northern Iraq defended on Tuesday a new policy imposing strict penalties, including possible jail time, for troops who become pregnant or get other soldiers pregnant. "In this 22,000-soldier task force, I need every soldier I've got, especially since we are facing a draw down of forces during our mission," Major General Tony Cucolo, who commands U.S. soldiers in northern Iraq, said in a statement. It is a "No-No!" You can look but you cannot touch. Well, that rule works about as well today as it did way back when chaperones were in vogue.

See, once again, we are messing with Mother Nature. And it never works! At least, it never works out well.

With all the babies being conceived at the front lines in the two wars in the Middle East, Afghanistan, and Iraq, another of the socialist government's social experiments has failed.

Let me see how plain I can make this: Even a complete fool, a blathering idiot, an imbecile, a Moran, knows -- without a shadow of a doubt -- that if you put young men and young women together in an environment where hormones surge continuously they will find each other and they will copulate. It is Mother Nature's way of insuring the survival of the species.

Everybody KNOWS this instinctively. Except, it would seem, for the feminists among us who deny the existence of natural law. Call it what you will -- when you deny that young men and young women will not find a way to engage in sex ANYWHERE, including the battlefield, then you are denying the existence of such a thing as natural law.

OK. Just so the record is clear. I do not believe there is a role for women in combat, anywhere, anytime, under any circumstances. PERIOD! Women are the sacred "givers of life." Without women the human species would die out -- and quickly. Women should be protected, at all costs, even at the cost of the male's life.

Nature (God, if you please.) created the male and the female differently with different characteristics. The male was made larger, muscular, and more aggressive. The female was made smaller but with the ability to hold within her body a new life which, when fully developed, would emerge as a brand new human being. The female would perpetuate life, she would insure that the human species would survive on this garden planet which was given us as our home.

The point is, if there were no female combat soldiers, the military would not be facing this problem. "Oh," but you say, "There are no American women serving in combat roles in the US Military!" That is pure "bovine scatology!" If you believe that I have a hell of a deal on a bridge in Brooklyn I'd like to talk with you about!

Woman soldiers have been fighting, in combat, in Iraq and Afghanistan right from the start. Their roles have been disguised as truck drivers and security for convoys, helo pilots, tanker pilots, etc, etc. The ruse goes on. They are out there getting shot at and shooting back. And, in my opinion, they ought not be anywhere near the battlefield! There are plenty of jobs for women in the military -- in the rear areas -- completely away from combat. Filling those jobs with women would free up the men, now sitting behind computer monitors, to grab a rifle and a pack and get their dead rear ends to the front and engage the enemy!

Want to know how our politically correct military is handling the situation of so many pregnant soldiers at the front? Take a look at this: "The military's solution, instead, is to promote total abstinence, which let's face it, is entirely unrealistic. Cucolo's policy also prohibits soldiers from having sex with Iraqis or from spending the night with a member of the opposite sex unless married or granted explicit permission. Instead, the military might fare better if they provided reliable access to birth control for soldiers, both male and female."

Back in my day in the US Army we were issued "Pro-Kits" when we received a three-day, or a weekend, pass. It was understood that we were going to have sex with an accommodating female as soon as possible and as often as possible. You could always tell when it was "Pay Day" on the Post without ever glancing at a calendar. The main streets of the Post would suddenly be filled with automobiles, filled to capacity, with women of all descriptions flaunting their wares and assuring us they would be waiting to fulfill our dreams just outside the front gates. And they always were.

Within my first week as a soldier in the US Army my company was marched over to the WAC barracks and we were lectured while standing just outside the wire fence that surrounded that forbidden land. We were told in no uncertain terms that if we were caught on the other side of that wire we would be shot -- period-- end of discussion! You know, I believed them!

I think it is admirable for a young woman to want to serve her country in the US Military. But, I also think her service should be confined to a military occupation that insures her safety far from the killing and dying. She should NEVER be in danger. But then, I am "an old foggie", a believer in chivalry, a man who was reared to respect women, and time has passed me by. So say some.

Forgive me if I see no respect for women by placing them in harm's way on the battlefield -- even if they demand it. The complete idiocy of such a policy says much about a nation's care for its citizens. Placing women in combat positions breaks the foremost rule of Nature, and it will insure the downfall the nation that makes it a practice -- and -- it places the entire human species in danger of extinction. How DUMB is THAT?!

Had those female soldiers not been there to begin with, this problem would never have come up.

Woman in combat is just plain DUMB! And you wonder why America can no longer win a war? Really? I mean, do you REALLY wonder about that?

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including section 1 of the International Organizations Immunities Act (22 U.S.C. 288), and in order to extend the appropriate privileges, exemptions, and immunities to the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), it is hereby ordered that Executive Order 12425 of June 16, 1983, as amended, is further amended by deleting from the first sentence the words "except those provided by Section 2(c), Section 3, Section 4, Section 5, and Section 6 of that Act" and the semicolon that immediately precedes them.

Now, look at this:

Here's the text of 2(c), which this EO now has applying to INTERPOL:(c) Property and assets of international organizations, wherever located and by whomsoever held, shall be immune from search, unless such immunity be expressly waived, and from confiscation. The archives of international organizations shall be inviolable.

An INTERPOL branch in the US now cannot be searched, it's files are not subject to legal subpoena nor discovery. If any branch of government wants to keep documents out of the hands of the court system, just hand them over to INTERPOL until the smoke clears.

INTERPOL will now be able to maintain files on US citizens.

By this EO, Obama has conferred diplomatic immunity upon INTERPOL, exemption from being subject to search and seizure by law enforcement, exemption from US taxes, and immunity from FOIA requests, etc.

Obama just declared INTERPOL records immune from search and seizure -- "The archives of international organizations shall be inviolable."

You know, I used to laugh at the poor "schnooks" who subscribed to the conspiracy theory of a global cabal with the primary goal of bringing all countries on the planet together under the auspices of one single government... and THEY would run that government. But, I gotta tell ya... with the Obama Regime in power, it is beginning to look more and more, every day, like those poor "schnooks" were right and I am the dull blade in the drawer!

When I consider the amendment to EO 12425 I can see no other reason for such a maneuver.

By the way, I thought we had three co-equal branches of government in the US. It certainly seems these days there is only one and that is the Obama Regime run by ... who knows!

But since Democrat politicians rarely do things that will not ultimately benefit themselves, this column asked two weeks ago: "what do they know that we don't?"

Obama’s leftist ideology, inexperience and naiveté endangering Americans

As Barack Obama approaches the end of his first year as President of the United States, the weaknesses many observers warned of during the campaign are readily apparent.

Among the criticisms leveled against him were his lack of executive experience and holding political office long enough to have benefitted from it, and his radical leftist ideology, the latter backed up by evidence both in word and deed, and through his associations with radicals like Weather Underground member Bill Ayers and the anti-America preacher Jeremiah Wright.

A majority of the electorate, however, displeased with the Republican/Bush administration, ignored those negatives, overcome by the “historic” nature of the election: At long last America had the chance to elect a black president for the first time in history, and the political appeal of that possibility overshadowed more important factors. Barack Obama won the election over a far more experienced candidate by a 53 to 46 percent margin. Not a landslide, to be sure, but a solid victory.

Barack Obama’s young presidency has attracted a great deal of criticism, much of which can be attributed to partisan politics, as was the case with the constant sniping at George W. Bush. But some criticisms are serious issues caused by Mr. Obama’s mindset, political orientation and his attitude about certain things.

In an effort to make the people of the world like us better, he traveled around apologizing for his country and its success, and in direct contrast to the Bush administration’s harder-line position on rogue nations and their leaders, he attempted to re-open some doors and present America as open and willing to talk, and see if it would bear positive results. It didn’t. If it had, his gesture would be applauded. Instead, ignoring the clear evidence that some leaders like Hugo Chavez and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad simply aren’t going to play nice with the U.S. – no matter who its president is – made him look naïve.

On the other hand, even as he continued to criticize the Bush administration Mr. Obama was forced by harsh realities to forego appeasing the world and its leaders and to maintain the Bush policies in Iraq and Afghanistan, and on surveillance and enemy combatant detention. This had the dual result of outraging his radical leftist supporters while tacitly acknowledging that Mr. Bush got some things right. Thus far President Obama looks uncertain, tentative and even confused. This is not a good sign this early in a presidency.

But more important than all of that is President Obama’s attitude toward terrorism and the degree to which that attitude permeates the various agencies within the Obama administration. It is dangerous to national security and the security of individual Americans. During the campaign and early days as president, he apparently didn’t realize that the radical Islamists really hate America – not just George Bush – and that they want to kill Americans. He and the other leftists don’t believe in terrorism, in jihad. The war on terror is a Bush construction, they believe, not an ideological war.

This sort of reasoning – if it can be called that – is, in addition to being irrational, very dangerous.

The words “terrorist,” “terrorism” and ”jihadist,” and the phrase “war on terror” were expunged from the administration’s lexicon, replaced by such Orwellian absurdities as Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano’s “man-caused disasters” to replace “terrorist attacks.”

Since the September 11 attacks eight years ago there have been 28 terror plots against the U.S. Twenty-six of those were thwarted directly by counterterrorism methods, many of which the Bush administration adopted after the 2001 attacks. But the Christmas Day Detroit terror plot was not discovered and thwarted like the others, and this event may have – should have – gotten Mr. Obama’s attention.

A 23-year-old Nigerian Muslim, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, tried to detonate a homemade bomb hidden in his underwear on a Northwest Airlines flight headed for Detroit from Europe. Thanks to a faulty detonator and a few brave passengers, the bloomer-bomber failed to kill himself and the nearly 300 others on the plane with him.

This incident has exposed shortcomings in our national security mechanisms, many of which are made worse by the pre 9-11 attitude promoted by our president and his administration. This event should shock Mr. Obama out of his socialist dream world into the real world, but it may just provide another crisis he and Rham Emanuel can exploit to further their ideological goals.

Even though Barack Obama has avoided admitting that we are at war with Islamist terrorists, we (begin ital) are (end ital) at war with Islamist terrorists. Their actions are attacks against not just buildings, or airplanes, or individual soldiers, but against the United States of America and all it stands for. Their attacks are not crimes, like stealing an old lady’s purse, a gang beating, or drunk driving.

These are attacks on our country, on America itself. As such, they deserve to be dealt with not through a criminal proceeding, but through military justice mechanisms.

The real world is a very different place than leftists imagine it to be. Not only is it not what they imagine, it can never be what they imagine.

A Message from a Spaniard to the U.S.: Get Acquainted with Muslim Demographics (Video)

I recently posted on the Nigerian would-be bomber aboard Northwest Flight 253. In reply to that post was a comment here at  Radarsite on my cross-post. John Doebert is a Spaniard living in Spain and he has a message for America. We will do well to listen. Fitting perfectly with Mr. Doebert's comment is an important video on how Islam will defeat us all. See the video below.

Here is Doebert's first comment and a second follows:

I'm a spaniard who lives in Spain, Europe. Nevertheless, I feel and always felt very close to the US country, regardless of federal government or this or that particular policy.

For those not familiar with the local boundaries, let me tell you that Islam is right at our door, and that the whole Europe is infiltrated from within by the hundred of thousands muslims who, purportedly, want to live here and be like us, and really, want to destroy us.

And as they cannot do it openly by waging war against us, they have elected a much more subtle way: their women's wombs, changing our demography and gaining momentum by the sheer force of bigger population.

Using our legal systems, exploiting loopholes and shortcuts, they are being entitled with civil rights, right to vote, right to social money. That's right: we are paying the very same people who want to change our countries into a third world nasty cesspit. Now, Europe is lost. That much I'm afraid of.

A continent of cowards, losers, laidback old folks, without the guts to stand up and fight for its future against the islamic invasion. But you, USA, you got a future. You are the best experiment in mankind's history. A country founded from the scratch, no more than 250 years ago, with all your problems, you are still every person's hope.

So please wake up. OK, you've already have elected your official moron; but make it only one. In Spain, we have elected ours as well, but we have reoffended; we elected him for a second term, so he can betray us properly and put the final stake through our country's heart, everything in the name of tolerance and political correctness.

Please close your border to anyone not qualyfing in english language, non islamic faith and not capable of making a living on his or her own. You are being invaded in every possible way. You are the first and last hope of western civilization, and as such, you are in the greatest of dangers. Would you give your house's keys to the person who's gonna rat you?. Stand up and defend yourselves, great evil is coming, and is already here in Europe, specially in Spain and the like.

Regarding your idea of posting my comment in some other place, it's OK for me. I feel very grateful for your kindness. After all, I'm just a foreigner and some local in US could get upset about my speaking.

One final thought: I'm no average spaniard, make no mistake. People here are looking the other way, some trying to live their lives, some posturing as if anything happens, struggling to get food to the table, as economic situation is in shambles and worsening.

One cannot expect a high degree of awareness regarding any other thing than the basics when there's no job, no income, no future. I'm fortunate to have a job and to be able to invest some time in getting acquainted with national and international situation in most scenarios.

And islamic invasion is my main concern, as they are like termites. I think it was two years ago when a Palestinian mother showed in TV yelling and shouting that she was so proud that his son had blown himself up killing infidels. I was shocked to read an Israeli journalist commenting on the bomb blasts something like “as long as their hate for us is bigger than their love for their love ones, there's no solution". There you go: they treat themselves like they were all a mere walking canister for their bombs.

They want to be like us, and as they cannot (their Islamic system forbids it), they chose to destroy us.

BTW, very good job in the blog, keep it up; I’ve reading it for months.

Many of us see the threat and understand it, but are powerless to effectively fight it. Which reminds me of this important video. I'll hope you will take a minute to watch it - listen carefully, and then get busy propagating! Sadly, it isn't a joke.

Radical Islam and America's Future

Political Islam, i.e. radical Islam, is actually a cutout for continued communist aggession against the West. This is perhaps the most justifiable explanation for the resurgence of radical Islam in recent years, though it receives scant recognition.

We knew this to be true back in the 1970s and 1980s, when the communist-inspired PLO began its operations against Israel. We knew that Hezbollah and the other Muslim terrorist organizations got their training, weapons and support from Syria - a Ba'athist (Stalinist Arab Communist Party) country. We knew by extension that Syria, like all Soviet client states, was acting on behalf of the Soviet Union.

Kill the Protesters!

That is the cry from Ayatollah Mehyaddin Haeri Shirazi on Iran Television recently in a live interview.  (View it here.)

In a live interview broadcast on the Islamic Republic's national television station sometime within the last two weeks, Ayatollah Mehyaddin Haeri Shirazi described a Communist protest movement from the early years of the Islamic Republic, noting how it was effectively crushed by the authorities. The government targeted opposition activists, he said, "arrested them in the afternoon and the same night announced the names of 30 people killed or executed by the government forces."

In reaction to the arrests and killings, Shirazi continued, "nothing happened. Why? Because they killed them."

Expanding on what he sees as the lesson from those events, the ayatollah said,"The more of them [the opposition] are killed, the more beneficial [to the people]. If the armed forces kill some of them, it is to our benefit."

On the other hand, Shirazi continued, "When they are arrested, it is bad [for public opinion], when they are captured [it is bad for public opinion]. Do not make victims out of them."

Killing the opposition protesters, the ayatollah insists, "is sanctioned by obedience to Allah and the prophet and is handed down to the Supreme Leader [Ayatollah Khamenei]. When it is sanctioned by such a power, there is no need to go through the government powers."

Shirazi warned the opposition forces, "Do not look upon the Supreme Leader [simply] as a person with a soft turban on his head, and that you can beat him. His support comes from the Hidden Imam Mahdi, he [Khamenei] is made of iron. It will come back down to break your own heads."

Perhaps in reaction to the increasing levels of violence by government forces, on December 26 a previously unknown anti-regime group calling itself the National Iranian Armed Resistance Forces (NIRU) "declare our readiness to rise to the armed defense of our nation against the forces of the criminal, illegitimate, transgressing and occupying current Government of Iran...." The group "accuses the current government and the leader of the Islamic Revolution, Mr. Sayyed Ali Khamenei of legal transgressions and high treason of nation and homeland."

NIRU claims to be made up of "a number of officers, soldiers and personnel of the armed forces", calling for "support" and "cover... in this moral and nationalist act" from "our brothers and sisters serving with the armed security forces of Iran...."

Iranian pro-democracy activists in contact with Israel National News said they are hesitant to believe in the authenticity of the organization until there is some external evidence of its activities beyond email and Web postings.

The first of two NIRU communiques, headed with praise for the Islamic god Allah, explained: "In accordance with the regulations of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, we are commissioned to protect the lives, properties and honor of our nation, and defend our sacred soil, as well as combat all occupying forces within the borders of the land. Any failure in carrying out this duty is considered a betrayal of nation and oath. According to the constitution, the defense of the rights of the nation of Iran, and avoidance of the collapse of the country takes precedence over protection of the ruling regime."

The group announced "the initiation of Operation Azadi ('Freedom')," which they said will end upon "unconditional surrender of the occupying government and leadership." The operation, the NIRU communique said, will involve taking control of military bases, taking over government buildings, arrest of "government-supporting agents within your units", "seizing... military and public communication facilities, as well as other news media", "combat mission[s] at the regional level, and expanding", and more.

Ayatollah Mehyaddin Haeri Shirazi has a wonderful nickname in Iran:  Land Thief.  For he has stolen thousands of acres of land in Shiraz and became a billionaire doing it.  So he is scared of what will happen to him if Ahmadinejad and the Mullahs are overthrown.

If the National Iranian Armed Resistance Forces (NIAR) is an actual group of resistane and not a front group set up by the Iranian government to destroy the Green Revolution, then it brings a whole new dynami to the Iranian equation.  For then the world will have an Iran in a very bloody civil war. Waged on one side by the Mullahs and the Revolutionary Guard, on the other side by the Protesters and the regular army.

The side that is victorious in this will become stronger than ever, the losers will be executed.  Thus is the way with despots.

Now is the time for the leaders of the Free World to speak up and be heard.  To speak words of encouragement to the people of Iran longing for Freedom, Justice and Liberty.  For the people of Iran who wish to throw off the tyrant who has destroyed their nation (physically and spiritually).  And still, President Obama says nothing.  His silence on this is deafening.

This is not the time to be silent Mr. President.  It is the time for you to stand up and speak to the people of Iran.  Not the Mullahs or Ahmadinejad.  The people who are fighting for the Freedom and Liberty that you take for granted.

The Iranin government has rejected your hand of friendship.  Now is the time for you to end your vacation, and become the Leader of the Free World.  If you fail on this, and the people of Iran are resubjegated into the slavery and despair that they have lived under these last 30 years, the verdict of history will be damning of you.  Your legacy will be one of incompetence and stupidity.  You will have shown the world that you are nothing more than a 2-bit street hustler who made it big!

Mayo Clinic Arizona Drops Medicare! Happy New Year Seniors!

Happy New Year Seniors! A little prezzy from the Prez: Medicare patients have been kicked out of the Mayo Clinic’s Glendale, Arizona facility. It’s a happy, happy day for the Obamas. They are soon to hold your health care in their sweaty, greedy, grabby hands and they can't wait.

“No Medicare patients” beginning today, at the Mayo Glendale facility (a suburb of Phoenix). This is a two-year-trial-run. About 3,200 patients are affected. Needless to say, the Glendale area is rife with retirees:

Obama in June cited the nonprofit Rochester, Minnesota-based Mayo Clinic and the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio for offering “the highest quality care at costs well below the national norm.” Mayo’s move to drop Medicare patients may be copied by family doctors, some of whom have stopped accepting new patients from the program, said Lori Heim, president of the American Academy of Family Physicians, in a telephone interview yesterday….

Mayo’s hospital and four clinics in Arizona, including the Glendale facility, lost $120 million on Medicare patients last year, Yardley said. The program’s payments cover about 50 percent of the cost of treating elderly primary-care patients at the Glendale clinic, he said.

If you are now on Medicare, but want to continue to be treated at Mayo-Glendale, here is what they have planned for you:

A Medicare patient who chooses to stay at Mayo’s Glendale clinic will pay about $1,500 a year for an annual physical and three other doctor visits, according to an October letter from the facility. Each patient also will be assessed a $250 annual administrative fee, according to the letter. Medicare patients at the Glendale clinic won’t be allowed to switch to a primary care doctor at another Mayo facility.

A few hundred of the clinic’s Medicare patients have decided to pay cash to continue seeing their primary care doctors, Yardley said. Mayo is helping other patients find new physicians who will accept Medicare.

Mayo’s decision may herald similar moves by other Phoenix- area doctors …“We’ve got doctors who are saying we are not going to deal with Medicare patients in the hospital” because they consider the fees too low, Rivers said. “Or they are saying we are not going to take new ones in our practice.”

DoctorRX at Naked Capitalism says the following about Medicare patients paying cash and receiving treatment (referring to the same article I have quoted above):

Despite what the article says, It’s not easy under the regs to just charge cash. So I’m not sure what Mayo is referring to. Basically a physician has to drop out of being a Medicare provider in toto in order to then charge freely. Once out, I think you’re out for a whole year (at least). And that includes seeing a patient in hospital who’s a Medicare patient (Medicare “A” covers essentially all Medicare patients). So for a whole year the doctor has to only treat outpatients and have nothing to do with Medicare. Not easy. Especially if Glendale has an elderly population.
