Sadly, those who are attempting the takeover claim it isn't so.Faultline USAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06691318732494110768noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6960732812801813184.post-1269332547368149022006-11-13T10:27:00.000-06:002006-11-13T10:27:00.000-06:00The "take over" of the Democratic Party by these p...The "take over" of the Democratic Party by these progressive FLLDs is a very real issue and a scary one at that!! I agree with Faultline that the internet is the "new wave" of the future...even those on our "welfare" system that say they need help to buy food seem to have a computer and internet in their homes (go figure that!!)!

For local and state elections good exposure on the internet combined with eye-to-eye contact, and getting people to know the candidates is essential!

I will "throw in" that an active supporter that has direct ties with any candidate's campaign has a responsibility to the candidates they support to conduct themselves in a respectful manner! Although these "supporters" are not policy makers, etc, their direct ties with a campaign directly effects how those on the "outside" see a candidate and their positions...many feel "talk" is cheap so they, by nature, have a tendancy to look at who a candidate has as the "frontmen" on their campaign! Great example is the Deaniacs and the Dems....The Deaniac bunch give a bad name and reputation to the Democratic Party as a whole due to the affiliation!

The problem in Texas and why so many continue to vote Republican is that the majority of Texas are turned off by the "Deaniacs" and do not believe in the far left progressive ideas. You will notice he did not try to start his "own" party but instead attempts to take control of the Dem Party and I believe largely because there are many that won't vote anything but Democratic not matter the cost but that would have NEVER backed his type of progressive ideas...thus, he already had a huge "base"!!!

Until the Democratic Party (the Blue Dogs, Yellow Dogs, etc) step up and start taking their party back, the Democratic Party will continue to be in great peril and under attack, until they are eventually overthrown!!

I do believe this issue is one that MUST be talked about and people MUST know...as this "takeover" is happening all around the country!!The Juicy Drinkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14747886131560932303noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6960732812801813184.post-68899466704606529882006-11-13T09:41:00.000-06:002006-11-13T09:41:00.000-06:00If you want to read more about the revolution and ...If you want to read more about the revolution and the New Breed of Democrat go to this NY Times article ", by Matt Bai, October 1, 2006

The Inside AgitatorAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6960732812801813184.post-60124857267596990032006-11-12T17:04:00.000-06:002006-11-12T17:04:00.000-06:00This is a response to the Anonymous comment left u...This is a response to the Anonymous comment left under "Democrats Attacked from Within" Posted by Anonymous to Faultline USA at Sun Nov 12, 08:56:00 AM 2006.

Thank you for your extensive report about the happenings in Wise County. This is another confirmation of what we have been writing about concerning the “Actives”, or what you also call the “Active and True Democrats.”

You wrote: . . .“They don't have a clue about Wise County politics nor does Howard Dean or Howard Dean's brother! 50 state strategy. Wise County never heard of it! 90% of Wise County folks go to work in the morning...they don't read the activists blogs. Blogging and going door to door won't win elections in Wise County! It couldn't get Ned Lamont elected in the Northeast!”

I have to disagree. What is true of your county today, may not be true in two years. If Wise country is growing at any reasonable rate, and new people are coming from metropolitan areas, they are going to be getting most of their information via the internet. Going door to door has been a tried and true election winning strategy throughout the US for generations. Blogging is a 21st century phenomena. Remember people said the same thing about not needing the telephone and television, as well. The Democratic National Party obviously thinks that an extensive investment PartyBuilder is the wave of the future. “PartyBuilder attracted almost 10,000 registered users in its first week, and that the number of political networks are growing exponentially!!!”

By the way, Ned Lamont lost because of the many Independent voters and Republicans who voted for Lieberman!Faultline USAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06691318732494110768noreply@blogger.com
